  1. No quote boxes then. Sorry.
  2. Doc's hair blew out behind him as they sped through Seattle on their way to the airport. They managed to avoid a large amount of traffic, as it was Saturday morning, and a light mist was falling. Doc pulled into a parking spot and jumped out, grabbing his device. "You ready to go?" he asked Cassie. ~~~ Jamie stumbled off the plane, pewter on a light burn. It got rid of the lingering tiredness that came from flying for several hours straight. She looked out the gate's window at the drizzle outside. So this was Seattle. Didn't seem too different than DC, if she was honest with herself. Still, this was her first time on the Pacific coast, even if it wasn't in California. She was on business. She mentally prepared a checklist of things to do. First, get her bags from the claim, then go get a car. After that, she could go look for Knights Radicant. They were supposedly much more common here than anywhere else in the country. Jamie sighed, turning and walking out into the concourse.
  3. Your 2000th The one directly above the one where I declared that I won. I win again.
  4. Doc nodded, smiling. He checked his watch. "We should leave soon." he said briskly "If we're lucky, our mystery just landed and we'll have a good 45 minutes to get there. Meet me at the Jeep in five minutes." he turned and ran upstairs, then came back down to his workshop and trabbed the detector and a few infused gemstones. He strode out to his beat up Jeep Wrangler and jumped in. It was an open top, and Doc loved to spend long summer days speeding alongside Hood Canal, the wind in his ears. "Hey Storm." Don't call me that. "Fine, whatever. Do you know anything about ther kinds of Investiture." Maybe. My former bondmate had heard rumors about strange magics. "Nothing more?" No. Nothing. This is... odd, to say the least. "You said it pal." Don't call me 'Pal' James "Ooh, bringing out first names now, are we?" The two continued to banter as Doc replaced the gemstone on the scanner.
  5. Very eloquent post Ene. A great post right before I win. Very good.

He is now on a worldwide revenge spree, killing those who he belives wronged him. Two organizations know aabout the killer's powers; The Speedwagon Foundation and a group of Investiture users known as the Silver Crescent. They recently learned of each other, and are now working togather to stop the murderer. Welcome to JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Iron Path.
  7. "Ah. There you are Cassie. I need to talk to you. Something's going on." he walked over to her, pulling her aside "Ok, so long story short, I built an Investiture detector and it picked up an unkown type of Investiture. I need to go check it out, and I want you to come with. I may need help if we have a problem, and..." he paused, "I trust you a little more than the others."
  8. Do you have Vudu Ene. I think it's still free. You can watch it for free on there. (With ads, but they're tolerable) If you don't want to watch ads you can watch Parts 1 and 2 on Netflix for free. Or I know some shady sites that I can give you.
  9. Which still requires bad stuff to happen to you. Unless you've got a Spiritweb sledgehammer. I which case, I'd like to buy one.
  10. The only downside is the fact that you have to be broken, which requires bad things to happen.
  11. Doc sat back in his chair, rubbing his forehead. New Investiture. It could be a new enemy, or a new ally. Either way, he needed to check it out. He stood up, trying to remember where he'd put the keys to his Jeep. He snapped his fingers, then ran down to the training room. The keys hung off of a sword hilt on the weapons rack. He had put them there yesterday morning after he'd gotten back from the warehouse. He grabbed them, shoved them in his pocket and looked around, "Is Cassie here?" he asked, frowning. @AonEne
  12. WoT. All the way. I mean, get nitpicky with me if you want, but I'd love to be ta'veren in the style of Mat. Just really lucky.
  13. Well I wouldn't call the paper I cut crisp. It's more like half ripped, half cut in a way that looks like someone ripped it.
  14. ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA! ORA! Possible JoJo's Bizzare Adventure roleplay in the works.
  15. Happy possible birthday.

If you think you're here, then that means you think you were born today.

If you're not here, then it's not your birthday.

If you are here than it is.

If you think you're here, then it's both your birthday and not.

    Happy Shrodinger's birthday.

    (Spelled that wrong)

  16. Can I cut paper? Depends on what your defination of "cut" is. I get ink all over both of my hands no matter which hand I use. Don't ask me why. Yes. I do. When I eat with my left hand, of course, which is about 50% of the time.
  17. Doc finished screwing the casing shut and smiled to himself. Not bad for a few hours' work. He pressed the power button and the small screen lit up, displaying a map of their neighbourhood. Doc tapped in a few parameters and pressed a button. The gem on the device glowed brightly, then dimmed as Stormlight was drained from it. On the screen, several dots appeared, all within the house. Doc grinned widely. It had worked. He navigated to a list titled 'Types of Investiture detected' it displayed a small number of Suges. Doc jumped up from his chair, pumping his fist. "Yes! I did it!" He plopped back down, still fiddling with the device. Time for a bigger test. He reset the parameters to the Seattle metro area, then pressed the button. The gem glowly blindingly for a split second, then went totally dark. The map changed to show around ten dots scattered all over Seattle. He pulled up the list, scrolling down. About halfway through, he paused, staring at a source labeled UNKOWN. "What?" he murmured to himself. The source was located at Seatac airport. The only reason an UNKOWN identification would come up is if the detctor located a source of Investiture it couldn't recognize. Doc felt dizzy. In the unlikely event that this wasn't a fluke of some sort, everything they knew could be turned on it's head.
