I, too, am curious how this would work. Siphoning ley line energy and pumping into someone? Siphoning from an opposite version of itself that's been force-fed to a god that already exists to steal their godhood? Edit: oh look there's the answer. Missed it by that much.

Silver Wafer. Paint it silver. Silver Sliver Wafer.

You're trying to fuse pot brownies and Hemalurgic cookies? Weird. That aside, there's no reason it wouldn't work as long as you used the potion in the recipe, but I don't have final say by any stretch.

Or just annoying everyone until they exhausted their energy repeatedly attempting to kill him and leave the battlefield allies against Hoid. New worldhopping group appears: The AAH seems dedicated to find a way to kill Hoid permanently.

That might be the most relatable thing I've ever heard read on here. I had a chem test earlier, so I get where you're coming from.

Yeah, no, it's good. I just couldn't tell. I could see it both ways and know my tone is absent here so I figured I'd make sure.

I'd just forgotten about those two. And that fair was completely sincere.

Y'know what? Fair.

I can't tell if you're trying to make Chucky or Toy Story.
-
That would be...easily exploited. If you're willing to take the risk, then go for it, I guess (I also recognize my input doesn't mean much, I just felt the need to point out that people would be manifesting dragons and other crazy stuff left and right)

How do we know Eshonai is ob Braize
Invocation replied to twenty second of the sun's topic in Stormlight Archive
It's a slight spelling error, I believe our friend @twenty second of the sun was asking if Eshonai's spirit is now on Braize. (Let me know if I got that wrong, though.) The answer to that? Most likely not, since it appears to be choice of Odium's who to allow to stay on Braize and Return, and he calls Eshonai weak. -
Many apologies for the length of the backstory here. Feedback welcome, just let me know if I did something wrong or need to add/remove something.

It always does. Especially when it's about Hoid or the as-yet-unnamed Shards.
-
That's probably just Sandman messing with us, like RShara said. "Hmmm, what would happen if I make them think there's a giant conspiracy around something completely fake?"
-
That's fair.

Nice, thanks.

Are these characters counted towards the normal Alleyverse character limit?

Probably because of Shallan, Kaladin, and (probably) Szeth. Shallan and Kaladin reneged on their Oaths, so technically they qualify, and Szeth might have done the same (he seems to hint at the fact that me may have bonded a spren when he was young a la Shallan when he first meets Nightblood, and he seems to be very familiar with the way his powers work, even beyond the years he spent Truthless). Plus Calderis's reasons.

That's a good idea, I'll be sure to incorporate it.
-
I mean the god isn't powerful enough to hijack his entire being, but it can (and does) interfere with him when it's not getting its way, so pretty much.
-
Oh, I wasn't planning for it to be all positive. Symbiotic is even stretching it. Definitely some personality alterations, probably including the trickster-ish attitude of the higher being, not to mention the things that come with having an entitled ex-god in your head, screaming at you.
-
I was going to treat it sort of like a spren bond, only without the Oaths. I have no idea beyond that.
-
First you have to get to both of those, and that's an issue.

So what if this happened and the character understands this through the bond, so he begins to defend his home/village and the surrounding area, gaining renown and a boost in Natural Magic to power him somewhat/increase the efficiency of the Investiture consumption?
