Not really a plot hole, as addressed during the pewter drag scene: a waifish Mistborn, met in combat and dressed in dark clothes, is hard to connect to the court-bound countrywoman of a noble that is Valette. Because she already had. They all knew the stakes, and MeLaan had said earlier that the memories and full sapience would be restored if there was any sort of charge left, and that the spikes were powerful enough to continue to hold their charges for a while, long enough that a short detour wouldn't impact it overmuch, especially as Harmony would know where MeLaan had fallen if the worst were to happen and they wouldn't have to have a manhunt, since a kandra could just be sent directly there.

You need Identity to change, yes, which is why the parshmen needed to have their Identity restored, but the colors have to do with the same thing as healing: it's how they view themselves and so it carries over to each body, as the soul connected to the Identity asserts itself and the body "heals" to what it thinks it should be. At least that's my interpretation, don't take my word for it, I'm notorious for misconstruing things.

Alright I'll keep it in mind. I won't go make them assume a bear or wolf form unless absolutely necessary.
-
Should Janim forgo being a bear or wolf for the foreseeable future with how many bears and wolves there already are?

Like Inky said, Spiritual Adhesion was a large part of the things Dalinar did in Oathbringer. It appears to allow the user to force Connection to form between things. In one case, it's a multiple tie with Cognitive and Spiritual Realms being heavily Connected to Dalinar's hands, in the other, it's Dalinar Connecting to someone else to be able to communicate with them. There are a lot of potential applications of that.

I think Sigzil would technically be one of Hoid's proteges, honestly. Or at least was meant to be.

Mistborn has a very special place in my heart (see my response on the first Sanderson book read thread for why), so I have to vote for it.

Wait that was a thing this whole time that I could have been looking up and seeing the schedule?

He said his last words to Kelsier, his body dropped, and then he accepted the transition to the Beyond. I doubt Endowment would have Returned him anyway, because it's not like there's a task for him to do.

Nope. Leras went to the Beyond, and once someone's there, there's no coming back.

If he was, then he was a pretty bad one, considering he's dead. Or at the very least, handless.
-
That's probably included, considering it seems to a collection of what Dalinar has learned, and that would probably factor in.

He stabbed him in the back while he was distracted and already pretty much on the ground. That's not "doing just fine," that's being a coward and taking the easy way out because you know you won't make it any other way.

They were. Not anymore.

"Fine. I shall go." Janim sighed. This is why they didn't interact with people beyond saving them. They returned to human form, tired of having four legs.

The command might overwrite the Investiture, but when the command is in line the Investiture, it'd probably just boost it.

"Alright, I don't know what is actually happening here, but it's nothing good and you both need to calm down," Janim said, turning into a bear and moving between the two in an attempt to resonate more and put some weight behind their words.

Janim, do you smell that? There's anger afoot, along with some heavily changed beings. Let's go see! You are going to get me killed some day, you know that? Despite their complaints, Janim picked up the canine pace, weaving their way through the crowds before coming upon a scene with a bear, another wolf, and a human. That was...strange... but it did look like hackles were up. "What is happening here?" Janim said, doing their best to be forceful. @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive @Vargo Seldon @Chasmfiend#1

@Chasmfiend#1 @Sorana @Vargo Seldon Y'all mind another confused being appearing on the scene?
-
That's an insult to Dalinar. At least Dalinar was a competent fighter.
