Editing does not work when you try to quote someone in the edited comments, the quote goes to fresh comment and two drafts are formed including the one I wish to edit and a fresh one with the quote...

On the coppermind, it is mentioned that they can increase their body temperatures to a great degree but it will hurt them too. They have to be careful. Being a fire soul does not Grant immunity from fire, even self generated one. However, Storing heat requires them to lower down body temperature and become colder, which is something they can use to resist heat and fires to some extent. If the firesoul also had gold healing, well then, I remember TLR mentioning surviving fires and burning. Then they should be able to cause immense heat and remain unaffected also from it.

I have a similar theory, however the two orders also have surge of transportation! And that is literally what the oathgates do. I don’t know why transformation and cohesion will have to be used. May be oathgates require really big size spren and it is difficult to get the inkspren and light spren or their related cousin spren, to become so big...

It may very well be that the two of them indeed Had a longer Con planned out to take down odium for good. It might be even something that tanavast deemed honourable. From his point of view, they had good chances of winning against odium since - there are two of them on roshar -there intents allow them to destroy another shard unlike preservation. - odium would have come for them eventually even if they had resisted his coming to roshar, I think. In fact, they might have resisted, and that is why odium managed to invest on braize instead. But, they also knew that odium is much more experienced at direct shardic fighting, so they chose to go for a war of attrition instead of outright battle. So, If she played some part in honors death, as suggested by @Config2 , then honor might even be in on it. He was weakened by this war and had started to loose his mental faculties and he might have become enough suffused with his shardic intent that he was finding it hard to act against his odium, after all Roshar belongs to Singers and his side was in the wrong being the invaders. So, may be chose to give up his life, and joined his CS to Stormfather and compelled him to find his successor, hoping that he might do what tanavast could not. Assuming that inquisitors had electrum feruchemy via hemallurgic spikes (we know several were missing), they will have to be actively tapping on their electrum metalmind, in order to resist pull of emotional Allomancy. Both the instances you have referred to, inquisitor and marsh had no reason to be tapping determination. I don’t think TLR would have given his inquisitors electrum feruchemy, because he relied on his ability to control them via brass in order to keep them subservient.

@Honorless agreed. A pinnacle should be able to resist from emotional Allomancy very easily. An electrum compounder would be even better at it. But I don’t think it will enable you to resist harmony’s control, (if he were inclined to control you, in which case, you plan to do something very horrid, so we pray that he succeeds). although I agree with @Weltall that in that scenario, the compounder should be able to resist for just one moment, it is crucial to bid his time and make it worthy.

@goody153 it is my new favourite word too. I totally want to see these Shinjas in SA 5 now!! It seems like adolin, szeth here is talking to his honorblade. Apparently this is something people trained in combat do, according to adolin the duel master. So, he is referring shinjas with honorblades, I think. But I also remember in Rysn interlude, where we learn that shin are very ethnocentric and do not allow strangers to visit Shinovar at all. Even people they trust like her babsk, are allowed to conduct trade at the outskirts of shinovar. Which begs the question to be asked, “what is it that they are hiding”? It cannot be just the honorblades, because the 9 shinjas can be easily kept secret. Is it really some other magic system they have ? Is it something they have retained from ashyn days?

I don’t think that nightblood is actually a dead person whose cognitive image has been imprinted onto the sword using command. For one, if it were so, then, would not nightblood have better understanding of concepts like what is evil, or human emotions etc? It sounds more like an AI with rudimentary programming regarding mimicking emotions but no underlying databanks to give context and meaning to those emotions..
