I think the reason I chose my picture is kinda obvious, for those of you who don't know, it is on the inside cover of OB. -

Characters you didn't care for at first but now love?
Ishar replied to Xero stormz's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So, for me, I find my opinions on characters generally remained unchanged, and if they do change, they go from good to bad (Generally when a character just gets old). I think the ones I disliked the most that now I like are probably Steris, although I am still somewhat unsure what to think of her, and Sazed, who I really wasn't sure what to think of at first. A lot of people on this thread said Hrathen, but for me, I always liked Hrathen. I am not really sure why, part of it may have been that I could kinda tell he was going to switch sides, and even if he hadn't, I would have still liked him. -
First off, I don't mean to come off as hostile, but I am genuinely confused as to what this theory is saying. What are you actually theorizing. the original post says a lot: Are you asking if the rebels were influenced by Ruin? if Kelsier was spiked? if TLR was spiked? Cause I see what could be considered 3 different theories in this one post. Please clarify. Even though that is the OP, it would also be good to know where the discussion has evolved too, cause I am confused by that too. What are you trying to say you think happened? Clearly I am not the only one questioning the relevancy, (Thanks for the support btw @KalaDANG) and it is not to point out that I don't "like" the theory, I find it unlikely, and there are 2 main reasons: A. I don't understand what the theory is trying to say (Which might make my thoughts on the theory irrelevant) and B. from what I do understand, I don't see why it is relevant, and generally, when something is irrelevant it is wrong simply because it is simply adding more complexity to the books (I think we all know the Cosmere has plenty), and is pointless. I do think that an interesting (and relevant) question that is brought up by this theory though is whether or not it is possible to spike a person without killing them. Mistborn was the first Brandon Sanderson book I read, and Kelsier's death shocked me. Of course, it was nothing compared to The Hero of the Ages.

What if Nightblood becomes the ultimate enemy?
Ishar replied to Ripheus23's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So, I highly doubt this. Personally, I think Hoid will end up being the ultimate antagonist, and I do think there is a difference between being the antagonist and being evil. Also, has anybody noticed that Nightblood was instructed to destory evil, and he destroys ALL investiture, possible hinting investiture is evil. -
Honestly, I am kinda confused as to what this theory is trying to say, and how it is relevant to current and future cosmere.

THEORY: "Trell" is Cultivation
Ishar replied to Unlicensed Hemalurgist's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So, I was to lazy to read the what was actually said prior to this, but I have thought of this being a possibility before, mainly because we have no idea what happens at the end of SA, and just cause, maybe. No idea what the timeline between end of SA and MB Era 2 is though.- 39 replies

I had trouble deciding between Jasnah and Dalinar. I feel like it will be very interesting to take this poll again after Stormlight Archive is completely finish. Of course, that will likely mean everyone will lean towards Jasnah the same as people are leaning towards Dalinar now because book 10 is on Jasnah. Of course, Dalinar is an awesome character either way. It will also be interesting because we will get to know Gavinor, and likely a child from Shallan and Adolin which should also be very interesting (I hope I am not the only one who realizes that there is likely going to be a child from Shallan and Adolin. A child who will likely be around 15 by the end of the series.)

Crackpot Theories (A game)
Ishar replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
First off, @goody153 The proof you had is filled to bursting with OB spoilers, and I think at least 1 typo. Proof: Why else would the returned exist? Theory: Odium is shattering all the shards because he wants to have all the Scadrian waffles to himself and the other shards are the only thing standing in his way. -
You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Ishar replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
You know your a Sanderfan when you are talking with friends via phone call and your internet is poor so you start talking about what Metal stores internet connection. I personally think it is Raysium. Simply because sometimes I feel that the internet hates me... Or maybe Raysium would store autocorrect... that hates me too... -

I feel like if Brandon were to extend Fuzz’s plan it would quickly reach a point where it would become too much and ruin a good ending for era 1 (no pun intended). Hopefully he does realize this.

Most under appreciated Cosmere Characters
Ishar replied to Ishar's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Of the ones mentioned so far these are the ones I agree with most. I disagree with this one mainly because I think Rysn will definitely end up playing a much larger role in Stormlight then she currently does. Edit: Looking back through, I actually agree with the thing about most of Kelsier's crew, and being that I originally forgot them, it shows how under appreciated they are. -

Hrathen... wait, somebody already said that... Yomen -
So a little while ago I saw (I believe in the Favorite Cosmere Characters thread) how people where talking about how under appreciated Taln was after suffering torture for 4600 years. This made me wonder what other under appreciated cosmere characters there are out there, cause there almost definitely are some more. Please just post what character you think is the most under appreciated character in the cosmere and why. Even if you pick a character who is well known for some things, but you think also did other things that they character is under appreciated for. In my opinion, the most under appreciated character in the Cosmere is Leras/Preservation. The reason follows in this spoiler tag containing spoilers for MB, and MBSH Side note: I wasn't really sure whether this belonged in Cosmere discussion or in General Brandon. If the mods feel that it needs to be moved to Cosmere discussion please do.
