  1. Well that's not the outcome I was hoping for of the two but it is what it is. I was debating playing the I don't know card but I'll just be honest, I am a Thug. A Lurcher may also have been targeting me for some reason which would have saved me too but if that's the case it was unknown to me. Edit: Find the mall. Want to go shopping?
  2. So clarifying what happened, I was attacked by Elims, Lion got shot? Or I got shot, Lion was attacked by Elims? I think it's the first cause it says attacked.
  3. I realized that a Rioter could have voted for someone(other than Saffron or Gorilla in this case), taken a vote off of Saffron or Gorilla, and moved that vote onto the person they originally voted for, thereby covering up the fact their vote got cancelled and keeping their role secret. So my previous statement that Saffron couldn't be a Rioter is false. And anyone who didn't vote for Saffron or Gorilla could have done it.
  4. 2 Soothers 1 Soother and 1 Rioter who targeted the same player 1 Soother, and 1 Rioter who hit a smoked player 2 Rioters who hit smoked players 2 Rioters who hit the same player 1 Rioter who canceled a vote instead of moving it Saffron could have saved themself as Smoker, but can't be Rioter. Gorilla could be Rioter or Soother. Not saying either is those roles just possibilities. I don't think Saffron and Gorilla are both elim, the only way I see that being possible is if both manips came from the elim team, but even then I think this would be cutting it close for that to be the case. They could both be village, or 1 and 1. I have other thoughts but need to wait for my next break to write them down if I have time.
  5. Is there a reason your first vote is reactionary on me instead of saving yourself? When others have voted on you before too? Edit: Okay that makes more sense
  6. You are correct now that I look, but since Iguana was who I was voting for they were the one I mentioned in specific, and they were the only one of the three without an active vote.
  7. Turquoise Gorilla(3): Violet Axolotl, Coral Swan, Scarlet Octopus Mauve Crocodile(3): Fuchsia Ostrich, Emerald Falcon, Onyx Flamingo Saffron Iguana(3): Pearl Chameleon, Mauve Crocodile, Magenta Albatross Charcoal Hyena(2): Salmon Meerkat, Chartreuse Penguin, Coral Swan(2): Oxblood Beagle, Turquoise Gorilla, Pearl Chameleon(1): Amethyst Scorpion, Violet Axolotl(1): Mint Heron, Amethyst Scorpion(1): Charcoal Hyena, Saffron Iguana I don't even know what to say about my vote. 3 way tie could be interesting, though Iguana can easily self save as they haven't voted. Vote manip could also shake things up and provide information or not. We've had lots of vote shifting today, most of which was hard for me to keep up on while at work and then having limited time to try to analyze things. All three of them have been active so I think any of them being exed is going to give us some sort of information at least.
  8. Care to share the names of those who asked for your role? I did for sure, in addition to who they just said as I was typing this up. I messaged several people over the last day and amidst other topics asked about roleclaiming, which no one seemed interested in doing. I now understand why. I wasn't thinking of telling people your role as letting the elims play minesweeper to find their key targets. Updated vote count for page 3: Pearl Chameleon(3): Scarlet Octopus, Mauve Crocodile, Salmon Meerkat Amber Vulture(1): Coral Swan Charcoal Hyena(1): Chartreuse Penguin Amethyst Scorpion(1): Charcoal Hyena Turquoise Gorilla(1): Violet Axolotl Scarlet Octopus(1): Amber Vulture So I guess based on what people have brought up about claiming I'm getting village feelings off the people I pm'd that didn't want to, since elims probably would have wanted the info. Not that that's a guarantee of course because anyone could choose to do something out of the ordinary to give a village read. I really don't have any ideas on who to vote for, I just know we'll need someone to have several more votes than the others to try to avoid vote manip but we still have a while before that really matters so I won't jump on anything yet.
  9. Pendel Haven took a sip from his cup of milk. Dyring's Inn was not a place where one frequently drank the substance, generally people sought more alcoholic beverages to comfort themselves or help them forgot their problems, but Pendel needed to keep his mental faculties intact given the pending devastation. Plus, he had always had a soft spot for milk, he even felt like in another time he had been treated to the rarity of chocolate milk, and while this paled in comparison it was just as comforting. After hearing another one of the bar's tenants muttering about death while nursing their drink, Pendel finished his glass and got up to take it to the bar. Before he could make it all the way some chicken woman came barging in and began shouting about saboteurs. This of course got some of the other people seated around shook up, but that was just one more problem to add to Pendel's ever growing stack of them. Tossing a few boxings onto the bar to pay for his drink he slipped his coat on and headed out into the mists. Let the others figure out who amongst them wanted to make things worse, he was going to try to make them better. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In the clarifications it does say this won't be role madness, and not every spiked is guaranteed to have a role. Does anyone know what is being referenced by role madness? I assume meaning there are regular villagers and not everyone is a misting but I'm not sure. Also probably likely all spiked will have roles even if it isn't confirmed. I don't have a view on meta but ya I assume things are going to be varied from game to game. That distribution does sound somewhat entertaining though.
  10. I feel like I looked differently in a past life as well, but have found renewed vigor in my new flying form as such a vibrantly colored and majestic bird. Given what that game looked like is it unlikely we have any village Seekers?
  11. You can still vote Penguin if you want @Oxblood Beagle, I can change my vote back :eyes:
  12. There is no vote manip, nobody has vote manip Sadness EDIT: Aight here's a reads list take it as a parting gift Tentative Elim: Ivory, Penguin, Scorp, Tuatara, Heron, Mouse (In roughly that order) Don't know: Rhino, Onyx (In that order) Sorta Village-lookin': Dingo, Weasel (In roughly that order) Village-lookin': Lion, Hyena, Amber (In that order)
  13. Yeah I mean...that's kinda what my Penguin vote post was all about. Given that no one bothered to go after workform/meditationform, we can be certain there's no vote manip possible this cycle. You're assuming I went after your choice of wording ;). Is this a threat (Joking dw). I don't particularly want to vote for any of those players though. Vulture seems village to me and I'm leaning slight village on Dingo. Scorp hasn't been online since like the beginning of this cycle and I don't want to vote on them when they probably won't be here to be able to do anything about it, plus there's also the fact that while I agree their response to the Weasel train was questionable, I don't think that warrants a vote as of yet. Tuatara is the best-looking option out of those four - I do think their posts are suspicious. Take, for example, the only post they've made this turn. It was mostly just RP but they started it off with: No reads given, very neutral. And they've yet to follow up on it. Yet I think I'll keep my vote on Penguin.
  14. Right so nothing happens for 12 hours and Ivory and Heron both vote for the same player (with little-to-no reason) within an hour from each other, despite having been online prior to this. Noted. Ties are not fine for elims. Why? Because 3 people, likely villagers, have double lives now. They can't afford to miss an exe. Personally, I don't run through each of my posts with my teammates when I'm evil. Also, it would be far more constructive (distancing wise) for e!Dingo's teammates to point this out in-thread rather than in private. A villager would care more about self-preservation since we're on our own. Elims can rely on teammates to vote in their favour. Yeah I dont exactly know what more I'm supposed to be saying given that I've probably been the one saying the most stuff this turn. You havent really given me much to defend myself against. Hmmm
  15. Yeah...Okay I have a genius idea: Mouse Penguin Now it's tied. No exe. Elims want someone dead yeah? Now they'll be forced to start DISCUSSION and cast VOTES. Logically the next person to vote has to be an elim then aha. jk.
  16. Uh well here's the Vote Count then Dingo (1): Flamingo Mouse (1): Albatross Albatross (2): Rhino, Lion Penguin (1): Vulture Vulture (1): Heron Perfectly symmetrical.
  17. Absolutely. I don't think anybody was actually going to do that, but yeah you're right.
  18. Look I'm gonna come clean Every game I've played with Swan, they've been evil. I didn't consider this when I helped exe them but it was definitely something subconsciously guiding my actions because while I know at the back of my mind that such chaos is to be expected from Swan, I've never been in a situation where there wasn't an elim behind that chaos (well, I guess now I have been. First time for everything eh?). And well, all that aside, it should be presumed that we don't know anybody's identities in this game. Thus, those unexplained votes and ignoring questions directed at them is bound to attract some suspicion one way or another. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Elims do that a lot of the time, especially newer players, because they tend to get flustered when faced with prodding questions and votes and such. Sorry again, Swan! But you can't entirely blame me
  19. Thinking Amber's village, for now. I don't see why an elim would need to go that all out for a single vote and honestly I'd like to believe an elim would've made a more mediocre yet acceptable argument to the table. Thinking Lion's village for being transparent about their action last cycle. Granted, I've been screwed over using that reasoning before. Will I rely on it again anyway? Absolutely yes. Thinking Mouse should really respond to my accusations Thinking Dingo's votes are odd. But overall, leaning slightly village because of tone alone. Thinking Penguin's a little elim-like; just something about their posts. They've been moderately active, with a total of 7 posts. What sticks out is their insufficiently reasoned vote on Rhino, and more so their prompt retraction. They've also been weirdly neutral in a lot of their posts, like this one where they comment on action-claiming, in a super non-committal way. It's worth noting that Hyena also picked up on this last cycle in the first part of this post, and I pretty much agree with it. Before I went and ISO'd Penguin, all I could recall was their first post, which I remembered to be one of those generic rolesplanation posts. Those are kind of always a red flag to me, just because of their tendency to appear useful while being essentially objective takes. I would change my vote to Penguin, but I don't want to disrespect Mouse like that Cmon Mouse.
  20. Yeah, it's not unusual for elims to go after the quieter ones early in the game both for the low-info factor and also to not kill in-thread discussion by NKing the talkative ones. Quoted below was the only ever post made by our late friend Croc. Speaking of the quieter ones, @Azure Mouse also only made a single post in the past cycle. I, too, prefer not to kill off in-thread contributors this early on without sufficient reason. *raises hand* Present. Assuming the Elims are winning at that point of course. Seeing as how I'm still village for the moment, Cream is the most suspicious to me. That analysis was just completely full of bad advice. Almost seems TWTBAW, but its enough to provoke a D1 vote from me. I had many questions about the ruleset that were going to make this post much longer, but they've all been asked and answered already, so thats it for me. (bolded mine) The bolded bits just scream elim to me. This post is from D1 and I responded to it then too, but I'd only jokingly said that I'd exe Azure for considering betraying the village. Re-reading it, though, this whole post just seems like Azure stating and re-stating and again re-enforcing that they are in fact a villager, and it reads kinda overdone to me. Like see how the second bolded bit makes them sound so very concerned about solving the game? Is it just me? Azure, at least for now. Haha yeah, only a naive mistake it seems. N1 thread. EDIT: BIG ninja by Amber 1. I'm not sure how smart revealing Lion's action claim was. We really dont wanna be giving the elims more info than we need to... 2. I'm gonna go out on a limb and slightly defend Lion here (please dont come after me if they flip elim haha rip) - But Lion has already reiterated that on D1 they didnt have any reads and all that stuff. And it makes sense, no? Why would anybody have like a solid trust group on D1 unless theyre an elim and know everyones alignment? 3. I really dont think the elims wouldve gone after any of the people you've listed there, precisely because of how active yall are in the thread. NKing one of you would give the village a fair amount of info. 4. Interesting observations, but I fail to see how Lion's identity's got anything to do with their alignment? Anyway so so sorry for double posting but I dont know how to quote stuff in the edit post box on mobile
  21. Sorry, Swan. Is white text still trendy? That's a good point, but you know they couldve just been referring to how they spoke in their previous anon games maybe. It's an adorable yawn is what it is. Crazy what people will do for warform I think it really depends on what 'priority' given to villagers entails exactly. If it's absolute priority, then if we get, say, a villager claiming to have been denied warform, we will know for sure that anybody that survives a kill/exe has to be a villager. (Cant be mavset-im either because the player would lose their previous form.) Exactly, and it would kind of defeat the whole purpose of the village having warform in the first place... Oh. Well then I see no reason to reveal whether anybody did or did not receive a gem
  22. Can't guarantee accuracy but here's a Vote count: Tuatara (3): Falcon, Heron, Mouse Penguin (2): Hyena, Vulture Rhino (3): Penguin, Dingo, Swan Swan (4): Lion, Scorpion, Flamingo, Albatross Dingo (2): Rhino, Ivory Swan's in the lead with less than an hour of the turn left, with Rhino and Tuatara tied behind them. This is probably the only turn we can safely disregard the possibility of vote manip, so that's nice, because tied votes result in no exe at all. I mean, you can speak how you want. I personally dont think it matters at all. Trying new styles is fun.
