I didn’t want to reveal my role, but Dingo pretty much did it for me. As for why I haven’t voted dragonfly, I’ll generally wait to hear from most people before voting. I didn’t say that I thought me or dragonfly was an elim, just that I understood others suspicion because we killed a village lurcher. However, since I thought Hayden was guilty, I cannot fault another for thinking the same. If there are other reasons to suspect Dragonfly, I could support that, but I’m not about to condemn them when I made the same mistake. Not that I like revealing my role, but I think Dingo is town. e! Dingo could have easily let Hayden die without saying a word

While it’s reasonable to think that at least one of us is an elim, I think focusing only on two people is overlooking a lot. Almost feels like you’re trying to divert attention from yourself. also why has nobody brought up Scorpions death?

Byrar had hoped he would never have needed to use his… talent again. He had made a few deals with skaa thieves in the past to make some money, giving them shelter. He had needed money as his business continued to fail, but after that resulted in his shop burning down, he swore never to use copper again. But these chaotic events had forced him to reconsider, and he had needed to make sure his emotions were his own. He had felt it necessary to make sure his vote was his own. He still felt that way. Vote manipulation was a shady tool. The town should agree publicly on who they thought was guilty, instead of relying on secret powers.

Looking back, killing a PR was a bad idea. But I have no idea why he would claim it so early, for a villager, that makes him a clear target (which I guess he was). He served votes at the end of say one to give himself a chance, which a villager might do, but an elim always will. another thing that made me suspicious was how quickly dragonfly initially defended him by attacking Tautara’s accusers (including falcon, who seems eager to attack anyone who shared your previous belief). I thought this meant that it was Tautara and Dragonfly. It seemed even more likely when dragonfly started getting votes, he suddenly switched onto voting Tautara, which would make sense if the spiked thought Hayden was going down and wanted to save Dragonfly. looking back, I can see holes in my logic. But this entire game has been baffling, and I stuck with the one thing that I thought made sense. My bad. there some things that do confuse me. Firstly, Rind said he wanted to save Hayden, but then made it a four way tie by voting me me and negating someone’s vote on Crocodile (a suspicious player who Rind gave no defense for). He could have garunteed Hayden’s survival by negating mine or Dragonfly’s vote or by voting on Crocodile. I’m not going to say I’m certain, as I clearly am not good at reading these players, but Rind actions were odd. Secondly, Weasels voted for me, and then proceeded to change his vote three times with minimal reasoning. When I questioned him, he responded “do you want me to vote for you again?” I would like an explanation at some point. The Apple game pointed to v!Weasel, but the father we go, the less I like his flippant voting.

He lurched himself, which is why survived. it seems odd that you hadn’t noticed that.

Byrar had held some concern about Acks from the previous day, but the man’s logic agrees with Byrar’s own reasoning. Although he could be jumping on others thoughts to fit in, he seems okay for now. The observer continues rational analysis. Byrar agreed that this game is confusing, but that’s probably a result of the amount of people involved.

Although there is absolutely no way to prove it, Byrar had missed Hayden's claim between all of the talking going on and him sleeping for the second half of the day. But the fact Hayden being a lurcher only gives him further opportunity to stage a fake attempted murder. The craftsman stand by his vote for now. he thinks dragonfly could very well be the drunks partner in crime, trying to throw others off using some previously overlooked evidence. Acks had slipped Byrar's mind because they seem to have slept in and haven't been seen today

Byrar continues to be baffled at the voting of Nibbles (Weasel) and questions the Jaist (Crocodile). But now his attention is drawn by how Sew (Dragonfly) seems to be working pretty hard to defend Hayden (Tautara) by attacking those who voted for him the previous day. Ostrich has continued to say almost nothing, and Vulture has said very little, although it's possible he's sticking to private messaging.

“Because little one” Byrar says tiredly, “There could be soothers or rioters who could easily change things so that any person with one vote on them had a 50% chance of death.

I generally agree with your first two paragraphs, but I disagree with your actual suspicions. I would say that Falcon is the least suspicious, and Hayden is probably the most likely to be spiked. You also are joining a train against me, not starting it. Weasel accused me first.

Byrars is confused by this accusation without providing any reasoning. The chef continues to act more and more suspicious. He's also confused by Hayden's attempted murder. The first reason he could think of would be to silence Hayden from accusing them, but that would only bring more attention to his claims. The more likely possibility in his mind is that it's a trick by the Spiked to make the drunk look innocent. Hayden had tied for the vote the previous day by Lysia's last minute vote change. It seemed to him that the Spiked were trying to save one of their own. His main suspicions today are on Crocodile, Weasel and Tuatara.

You made seven posts. The people I put as minimum only had one or two total. I’d still like to know more about you, but for now, my suspicions are on others.

Byrar woke as shouts filled the inn. The mayor was dead, and Alais killed for it? How had he fallen asleep at such an important time? Inwardly cursing himself, he rose quickly from his table to investigate. Maybe he should have stayed away from the inn. His bad fortune followed him like the plague and now more people had died. The priest seemed to think Alais's death was a waste, although Byrar had thought the Gambler seemed more concerned with betting than trying to help the town. And while he hated to see another innocents life ended while there were spiked in their midst, It seemed none of the metalborn had died, which was good. More and more, he found the Jaist's claims seemingly illogical. One the foreigners who seemed to he did not know had apparently asked where everyone's suspicions lay, Byrars thoughts were the following.

I’m not going to be on Sunday so I’m voting with less info than I’d like I add a notation that, out of the 15 people I've seen around in the town, I'd expect there to be three saboteurs. However, I doubt I'm currently correct on all three who I believe could be saboteurs right now. With the information I have, I’ll vote Hayden. Byrar sits at a table and suddenly feels tired. It wasn’t dark, but the fire had shaken him more than he’d thought. Before he knew it, he fell into a deep sleep.

It also feels odd that they accuse someone of watching without saying anything when the only thing they themselves have said almost nothing except an accusation.

“I’ll stick with water. Alcohol tends to lead to accidents, and with my luck drinking is a bad idea. But we should probably try and talk to some more people. I hear there’s some misting about, maybe we’ll run into one of them.” Byrar follows him to the in and takes a look around the room. So many people, any of whom could be trying to destroy the town.

Byrar stares mutely at charred remains of the watchtower. In his mind he saw his woodshop that had been consumed by a fire two years ago. He had lost much in that fire, and now Gam was dead in another blaze of ill fortune. He shouldn’t have been suprised. His entire life had been filled with accidents and foul luck. His parents dead of a mysterious illness. he had taken over his father’s very successful store, but now that Byrar was in charge, things had taken a turn for the worse. Late shipments, vanishing tools, and finally the horrid fire that has ended it all. The only thing that kept him off the streets had been his father’s dwindling fortune and some quiet deals relating to his secret talent. Best not to reminisce on the past. Byrar took a new look at the ashy ruins before him. Someone had started this. Someone had killed Gam. This time, it wasn’t an accident. And now he finally had a chance to get back at the misfortune that cursed his life. Byrar noticed that someone had had the decency to give Gam a decent send off and decided to thank them for their efforts. “Nice of you to give Gam those plants. He smells better than he did in life. Poor soul. I don’t know why anyone would have wanted to kill him. Do you know anything about who started this?”
