You're already pushing me the hardest :D.

    Strange view

The whole "well x did this too why aren't they a wolf" is a standard argument that is used often by Elims and isn't logical because not everyone is held to the same set of rules and it's not a thing that is only applicable when meta on players is present, you can simply tell when you profile them in game and decide what kind of player they seem to be and whatnot.

Sorry I haven't really been playing this game since it started, I'll do better starting now.

    ...Starting tomorrow :P.

Thoughts right now are that I'd like @Indigo Weasel to give reads because I don't think they've done so at any point in the game and I don't like that. I do suspect Swan a little bit, I think mostly due to the angles they're pushing being weirdly specific and kind of random, but a reread should help me refine that read. In short I'm alright with both existing trains but I do want to know what Vulture means regarding Dragonfly because I village read Dragonfly right now.

This post feels like a setup for a big change, not into it.

. I don't know about elim Ostrich setting Scorpion up as a convert though since we'll be looking at them now.

Honestly i have no clue why you'd think I'm a valid place to look, seeing as I have been spewed clear now by both Falcon and Ostrich in so many ways. And that only makes sense if they're planning to set me up as a convert target.

If the Elims have any mercy though they won't convert me and will just kill me instead.

I think I might know a legitimate technique to make people less likely to convert you, although it is not flawless: posting frequently enough that your time zone isn't very hard to guess.

I don't think there is any perfect way to counter conversion.

I don't think there's anyone who's in a different enough timezone that it would be impossible, unless you're like TJ or something and the person you want to convert is only posting from like 1pm to 6pm PDT

  5. Hyena can probably be an elim too, even though I'm not very sold on that. Not that I'm sold at all on Amber either. Amber is probably village, knowing me, knowing them.

When Emerald was in the middle of making all the PMs and I asked them not to include me, I asked at the same time in the most recent PM they made with me in hopes they'd see that as well- the PM with Hyena. Hyena then chose to comment in that PM saying that Emerald's PM amounts were truly astonishing, and Emerald said thank you.

it was initially an interaction that I want to read as village, because it was a completely unnecessary comment in a random PM. If Hyena flips Elim then it further confirms me as village, something that really isn't at all necessary at this point lol. If i flip Elim then it....well. neither of those facts are true because body hopping. If Hyena or I flip Elim tonight, then the other is village. well. not if they bodyhop.

    Relations are almost useless here

    anyways.

I think this game is hard because- well, because of the kandra bodyhopping, everyone should need to be more active than normal since you can't completely trust relations or actions or reads from previous cycles.

Well, that's not supposed to happen!!

I think this means that my top secret contact is not very nice so I will just reveal that it was Scorpion.

oh man and here i was hoping that you were going to pick someone believable lmfao

    EDIT:

*doublechecks that I am actually scorpion*

I'm pretty much even more spewed town now, thanks fuschia.

Coinshotting fuschia won't matter if they're body hopping. A 50/50 chance isn't worth it imo, with no definitive results on whether it worked or not. I have to assume the coinshot is a one time thing if they didn't shoot last night, because I think they would have wanted to kill since we didn't get an exe. Either that or we don't have one.

If you have any idea who I am then you can probably guess what kind of people/who I would talk to in PMs.

This doesn't make me any less suspicious on Amber, because not only did they just slightly TMI me V, with their "Random Villager" but also they would be the first person I would try to frame as the informant based on their reaction + votes on alb last day. I suppose there has to be something in Fuchsia trying to go at me and what this means for who the team is.

  7. If i accept dingo's slip, then I suppose they're town. It's just easier to do that when they've slipped with other things as well.

The fact that no one questioned the source is sad, honestly. Fuschia has only posted RP in thread and if they hadn't scanned them then that was something.

If Fuschia is an Elim, then they're most likely not going to talk tonight, because they will not want to give us stuff to work with as well as they will bodyhop

I'm obviously village off of Emerald interactions. Specifically the PM one and this should be able to be corroborated by hyena, which is why I asked them what they're read on me is.

Sure you're going to say "but you could do that as an Elim too-" and that's where you need to stop overthinking things. Yes, I could, but the easier and simpler answer is just that.....I didn't. Same thing with you, Amber. Yeah, beagle could be an Elim who posted first last cycle so that no one would  suspect them of being the body-swapee.

    But. Do you hear yourself?

    Occam's Razor guys.

  8. Dingo talks only about the message and what it might mean without landing on any assumption. They do the standard "don't claim" routine. They invalidated one of their own reads because "chaos."

@Charcoal Hyena I think you're town, what's your take on me?

@Amber Vulture PMd me asking my opinion on something, I gave it, the conversation ended. guess nothing interesting there.

I mean, looking at the post in question I'm not really wrong :P (Post in question)

    Similarities found:

      Reveal hidden contents
    • Swan read is identical
    • Meerkat read became first Croc read
    • Iguana read, slightly modified, became Dingo read
    • Dingo read became Mouse read
    • Cham read became Vulture read
    • Second Croc read is identical (the one meant to be me)
    • Penguin read became Falcon read
    • Gorilla read became Ostrich read
    • Ostrich read, slightly modified, became Alb read
    • Octo read, slightly modified, became Hyena read

Now, I don't think that makes your reads any less legitimate, even if they might be less useful than they would be in your own words (unless they are in your own words ) and I don't want to imply that. I also don't think you're necessarily elim for this either. If you're elim for anything, it's for implying that my assumption was wrong when it clearly wasn't :P I also did a quick scan of your posts and I can't find where you clarified your approach, so could you kindly do that again?

    • Amber Vulture: If I had to vote at the same point as Amber, I'd probably have done the same as them for the same reason. I have more thoughts on their posts since being put on the defensive, but I'll need to do a proper analysis isolation of the people involved before I take one stance or another.
    • Coral Swan: Coral's opening posts felt pure to me, and I agree with everything they've said. Will reevaluate later, but I'm removing them from my D1 pool of suspects.
    • Indigo Weasel
    • Mauve Crocodile: Oh boy, I both love and hate Croc already (no offense on the hate :P). Your posts are like chaos incarnate; fortunately, I found your posting to be Chaotic Good rather than Chaotic Evil. Leaning village for now, though I expect your chosen playstyle will cause me difficulty in the future :P
    • Emerald Falcon: but I would like to see more than a vote count and a vote on an inactive. @Emerald Falcon why Fuchsia? More importantly, why not anyone that's posted more?
    • Magenta Albatross: Although their first post was just direct responses (RP nonwithstanding), their nonchalance towards being voted is comforting somehow.

    • Fuchsia Ostrich: Amusing RP, albeit NAI. Need more (or longer posts) to establish a baseline feel.
    • Azure Mouse: one post, one analyzable paragraph, and its RP semantics :(@Azure Mouse do you have any opinions on the players so far?
    • Charcoal Hyena: RP choice makes their content more difficult to parse than I'd like, and I disllike how easy their initial townreads were. Their subsequent Elim reading of Weasel and Dingo is both offputting and reassuring.
    • Oxblood Beagle
    • Melon Dingo: Casting their opening post aside, their lighthearted tone is disarming, and their comment to thread about paranoia of group PMs feels nothing like genuine.
    • Amethyst Scorpion: Hm, this might be the player with my least favorite opening post. Not a fan of the firm language. Possible slip?

    Ahem.

Well. Thnx guyyyyss much appreciated for that late train thanks for not killing me you would've probably hated being without PMs the rest of the gaaaaaame :))))))))))))))))

I’d also like to request Prudence to not put me in any PMs.

I'm switching from Albatross to Falcon. I think opening lots of group PMs is a way to look village without directly contributing to discussion.

I'm the first and the last person to always talk about how Effort Clears are bad and shouldn't be used, but in this case the effort falcon put in doesn't make sense to do for an Elim. The Reward is way too low for the time put in.

Early voting is usually a matter of personal preference as well. At the moment, my preference is for no kill this round.

I’m not going to try to rehash the old D1 lynch debate, but tl;dr we should at least pretend that we’re having one to generate good discussion, even if we decide later we’d rather not kill people. Letting the Eliminators pick targets freely during the Night is mostly a waste of a cycle, and getting analysis off the ground always requires a lynch, even if we don’t necessarily want one or think it’ll work. It’ll also revitalise a discussion which is going somewhat in circles right now because nobody’s actually being accused of anything.
