  1. Many references I do not understand... Back in The Happy Inquisitor, Lift was enjoying her pancakes. And Kelsier's.
  2. And...ordered pancakes? It sounds like a restaurant, okay? I am woefully ignorant.
  3. Did you see how the Azish talked about her in Oathbringer? She sure is a drama queen. #dadjokes
  4. AHA! After many spiteful asides back on the "TLT" thread, Curiosity finally had me find the famed "TLPW" thread. Unfortunately, my loyalty will always lie with TLT. As it was my first, it will be my last. (Also, it'll win.)
  5. Thank you! I just got the Graphic Audio, so I guess I'm listening to it back to front.
  6. Narrator Night hopes that Narrator Bean is speaking of her mother. Narrator Night also hopes that Narrator Jaywalk is not speaking of her mother.
  7. Jasnah was not impressed. Currently, Kelsier did not enjoy life as a soulcast potato.
  8. Kelsier sighed, relieved, then froze when she asked, "How did you know about my Navani Notebook? Ivory's the only ones who's seen it."
  9. Granted. You are now a meth addict. I wish I was tall.
  10. What is that? Vin prepared a three page essay following the Socratic method listing the reasons she would be a better adoptive choice than Lift. Lift felt betrayed.
  11. This new contradiction made it difficult for her in the bedroom. Vin suggested couples therapy.
  12. Really? Wow. Now I'm curious. Where can I find info on that? And where was it first mentioned?
  13. Asterisk, why...? Also, "munk" as in "monk"? Or is that coincidence? "It's time to rennovate this lair," Insulinmunk 1 said. "Yes, the drapes are just dreadful," a second said. Her name was Edna.
  14. Sure. Schools close down all over the world. Now we're faced with the issue of mass illiteracy. I wish my dog wasn't so cute. Then I could discipline him without feeling the wrath of his Bambi-eyed stare.
  15. What's this about Hoid having a spren? I know he's a worldhopper but not much more than that. Care to explain?
  16. Ivory is embarrassed about being bonded, right? And I seem to recall Pattern implying that the Cryptics feel a similar uneasiness about the bond. With Syl, my memories are kinda fuzzy. I recall her talking about how the Honorspren see her as something of a rebel, but then there was also that whole deal with the Honorspren checking out Kaladin's squires. I'm curious about Ivory, mainly, because his race of spren seems important. Stately, even. In the prologue to WoR, Jasnah saw many shadows in Shadesmar, which I assume were inkspren asides from Ivory. I say that because after Ivory bowed to Jasnah, the narrative mentions that the shadows whispered to each other. Perhaps, this was their shock at Ivory accepting Jasnah? Thoughts on this? Mostly want to hear what feeling everyone else is getting from this. It's almost like bonding is a taboo among spren.
  17. Yes, and it was a hypochondria case like the hypochondria doctors had never seen in severity. So severe, in fact, the gerbil was plagued by all sorts of psychosomatic illnesses.
  18. No, it was not. The Night Watcher recommends a timeout and music therapy.
  19. Sure, but your tiger is senile and often mistakes one person for another. Specifically your mother for your awful ex. I wish for a golden egg.
  20. But he was kinda already pissed at being third wheeled.
  21. TF?? Second ninja Now that Jasnah had escaped the time loop, the Komodo dragon felt it appropriate to drop in from the sky.
  22. "But Jasnah, we're already married," he says, but with fruit pulp and spittle escaping the confines of his mouth, it sounded more like, "B' Jaffn'h, wew ar'dy marrinh."
