Nekorb turned towards the speaker. "I am fully healed now, except for my memory. All my pain..." He trailed off, suddenly remembering what had happened to the pain. His eyes widened. "The doctor! Is she alright?" He swept the covers off of his feet and jumped out of bed. @Karnatheon @I think I am here. @The Grumpy Elantrian

Nekorb took the card from Alask. His hand shook as he read it. He laid back on his bed and let the card fall to the floor. What could it mean? While pondering, he heard the man in the corner ask him if he wanted to live in a building he had fixed up. He nodded distractedly. @Karnatheon

The man reached up to his head. "I... I don't remember." An index card fluttered out of one of his pockets. @I think I am here.

Nekorb suddenly awoke in a hospital bed with his mind clear. He sat up.

Nogard nodded at Koran. "Can you take me down there?" he asked, pointing at the island. The Winged nodded in response, stepping forwards to pick him up.

The man suddenly stumbled upon a group of people gathered in some sort of experiment.

I have run out of time. Again. It is unlikely I will be able to get on and vote this cycle. I am suspicious of Rath and Ark, and approve the lynch of one of them. Don't let there be a tie, though. I still feel suspicious of Orlok, for whatever reason, but I think this might just be the way they play.

I don't know. He doesn't really seem the type for me. I should correspond with whoever does, just in case they do decide to use the time travel ability.

Glad to hear that. I'm interested in Deras's worldhopping abilities. Nekorb actually did use the Spiritual realm to travel back in time. That's part of what caused all the pain.

Rekorb felt the pain escape from him. A look of relief spread across his face. "Thank you," he whispered, "and I'm sorry."

I'll adopt Kera if no-one else will, but I don't know a whole lot about D&D, so I might not be the best fit. Thanks for the hospital RP, that was fun! I hope it wasn't too stressful on you...

Nekorb saw the woman hesitate before nodding. He took the pain and shoved it through the hole.

@Cyanic Nekorb felt the hold of the pain diminish. In his mind, it was a black creature, detaching from the wall of his sanity. He felt lucidity begin to come to him again. But the pain was still there. And the hole was beginning to close. There wasn't much time. Nekorb knew that if he didn't get rid of this now, he never would. What if he tried pushing it out of the hole? It was big enough. And once out, he could let the hole seal and it would never get back in. If he did that, though, there was only one place the pain could go. Directly into the doctor. He looked into her eyes, trying to ask the question without words.

The power flowing into Nekorb doubled in intensity. He pulled himself up and screamed. Almost... There...

Nekorb felt a large surge of power flow crash into the wall. The strange green energy seemed to be able to hold the hole at bay, and both provided healing. But much was still getting absorbed by the wall. Nekorb reached out with his mind and pulled on the energy, even harder then before. He gripped the hand of his savior, unwilling to let the power stop flowing. He could feel the healing it brought, scratching the itch, filling the chasm. Only a few minutes more, and it would be gone. But could the doctor hold out for that long?

Nekorb felt the power begin to recede. The hole began to push closed stronger than he could keep it open. He desperately reached out, physically and mentally. Suddenly, power slammed into the hole. It shoved through, holding the hole at bay. It wasn't enough. He reached out again for a source, waving his arm in the air.

A man ran through the alleys. Definitely not a smart thing to do, if you valued your life. Luckily, he didn't.

Nekorb could feel the pain inside of him. It was more than just a simple ache; it was an itch that could not be scratched, a hole that could not be filled. Through the mists of agony he saw someone reaching down to touch his arm. As they made contact, he could feel the power flowing into him, healing him. But there was something in the way. A wall inside of him, blocking the healing. Some was getting through through a hole, but that hole was shrinking. In desperation he reached up and yanked at the hole. Pain filled him. A different kind of pain, though. Sharp and clean, it was a relief from the torture inside of him. He yanked on the thread flowing into him, pulling it in. A silent voice warned him against it, but he didn't listen. He needed this.

Nogard turned to address his Winged. "What is the name of your island?" He realized something. "Actually, what is your name? I don't think I caught it."

Nekorb groaned as a fresh wave of pain ran though him.

Nogard stepped onto the skywhale's back. It had already started drifting towards the island, so he could stand still, for now.
