  1. I circumvolved my cranium in the perpendicular orientation with approval. Libation was apt to induce calamitous occurrences. Interception of the critical beverages was an astute maneuver.
  2. We need more people with direction.
  3. I ambled into the anniversal conviviality, circumspectly surveying the optated establishment. Diamond flooring? I pondered incredulously. Just how affluent are these proprietors? I circumvolved my cranium. Exhibitionists.
  4. Come and join us, Narthrangking... The Longest Thread would be happy to have you.
  5. "Maybe you shouldn't have tried to escape," said the voice.
  6. "They have not been harmed."
  7. "Won't work. Sorry." ...and the walls of his cell fell away. Filing cabinets lined the wall, each colored in the same inverted fashion common to everything in this realm. They surrounded a simple, wooden-looking desk, at which sat a solitary figure. Silence. Well done, he said in a dry tone. You've managed to 'escape'. Xino scrambled backwards, summoning his sword and shield, but Silence just laughed. Don't even try, my dear man. You wouldn't want me to use this, would you? He gestured to the gun lying on the table. Xino's fists clenched, but he didn't make a move. "So it was a trick?" The shackles? Yes. There was never any chance of you actually escaping. I would never be that careless. Xino's felt anger rise within him, but he did nothing. He couldn't do anything, or Silence would blow him out of existence. "Where are Star and Shadow?" he finally asked. "Have you hurt them?"
  8. Yeah, that scene was probably why it got changed. But it's a bit weird, considering he literally says his depth perception is excellent in book two.
  9. *recognizes* His depth perception was supposed to be fine. It changed between the books.
  10. "You are my captive. Why should I listen to anything you say?"
  11. "Why should I tell you that?"
  12. Which did a victory dance. Xinoehp glared at Jaywalk for trying to steal his eyes.
  13. There was a chuckle. "Language, Shadow," said the voice that had just Narrated her entrapment.
  14. The bars squeezed inwards, trapping the prisoner halfway through trying to sneak out. One... inch... more. Xino panted with exertion as he pulled on the shackles. He was close. The heat from his signs had caused the metal to bend almost enough for him to slip his hand through. Just a little more, and... Snap. One down, thought Xino excitedly as the shackle fell to the ground. Now I just need to... The symbol on his palm flashed, and the other shackle melted into slag. Xino grinned. Free at last. Now he could escape and rescue the others. With Star's help, they could escape, and then- Clap. The sound interrupted his thoughts. Clap. It seemed to be coming from everywhere. Clap. Xino began feeling a sense of deep unease...
  15. No, the Stars and Spheres thingy. How so? You think the plot I helped make didn't matter?
