  1. The breadmunk got back to its feet, saluted FT with a squeak, and ran off.
  2. The spike flew through the air and landed in FT. In a burst of power, he tapped the spike- which also happened to be a metalmind full with healing power.
  3. Breadmunks swarmed the fallen pancakes. A few seconds later, one held up a golden spike triumphantly. In a blur, he rushed to FT.
  4. My internet's being spotty, so I probably won't be able to get on again this cycle... I don't really have time to read through the thread either, which is frustrating. I really did want to get some analysis done- I don't usually, but I feel like I can do it this game for some reason, if only I had time to do it in. I started a player list analysis, but that's been rendered pretty much obsolete by this point. --- The landing bay bubbled with noise, a hubbub quite similar to the one to be observed in the cafeteria. Taifend wasn't a part of it, of course- who would he talk to?- but that only gave him more time to listen. And what he heard... well, saying his bones were chilled was probably an exaggeration, but their temperature had been lowered by at least a couple of degrees. The news had gotten out about the traitors. Taifend knew that it had probably been inevitable, but that didn't make it any better. Just as he'd feared, suspicion and distrust were beginning to spread virulently through the members of the DDF. Holding that poor kid in prison didn't help, no matter what the top brass might think about morale- anyone with half a brain would realize that he was no more a dissenter then he was a plate of algae. All it did was heighten fear in a place where fear had no right to be. We shouldn't be in this situation, Taifend thought angrily. Can't they see? We're all one people! All fighting is going to do is get us killed! He sighed, and leaned up against his ship. He'd be launching soon, out to fight the Krell. The real enemy. And no dissenter was going to stop him from doing that. Banishing thoughts of a shot going wild and accidentally hitting another vessel, he climbed into the cockpit. --- I'm hoping Elandera takes pity on me for my horrible internet and counts my first post this cycle as a discussion post... Sart voted Elkanah while I was writing this, putting things as a tie between him and Kidpen. Of the two, I feel like Kidpen is the better choice. The suspicion on Elkanah seems baseless to me. Kidpen voted on Elkanah because he didn't like his vote on Coda, Abstrusity and Sart just because they thought he felt 'off' somehow. I'll try and go into more detail when I have more time to write stuff down- the cycle's pretty close to ending and I don't think it's likely I'll be able to get back on before then.
  5. Nameless's spare power flowed back to him, reincarnating him physically.
  6. Nothing, really. He was already a Narrator, after all.
  7. The stolen Narrativium flowed into Truthless.
  8. Narrative power was squeezed from it like water from a sponge, collecting in a floating mass in the air above.
  9. Interesting. It looks like we do have a vanillager role (unless roles just aren't going to be revealed at all, but that seems unlikely). Fell asleep in the middle of catching up on yesterday's discussion... oops. Well-rested now, however, and ready to do some more discussion. First, I have a question about the guns. What does 'can be used one time mean'? Once per player? Once ever? Once per posession? More thoughts to come later when I have a bit more time to think everything through. I'll try to do a player list this time, see how that goes.
  10. Rumplestiltskin's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" he hissed, backing away as far as he dared and making warding gestures. "Do you understand the severity of this situation? She can mess with fate! If she curses you, there's no coming back from that!"
  11. Jacob sighed and wrote something down on his clipboard. Space warped and resized, shrinking the brown blob to the size of a small breadmunk.
  12. Jacob coughed. "Are you going to do anything?"
  13. The breadmunks held a meeting. This situation had grown dire, direr than they thought possible. "Squeak squeaker squeaken*," squeaked one of them. "Squeak squeaker squeak!**" "Squeak squeak?***" asked another glumly. "Squeakem squeak squeak squeak.****" *We can't let this happen. **Someone needs to stop this! ***But who? ****All our heroes are dead.
  14. "Squeak squeak squeak*," squeaked the breadmunk. *Not just the Jelly Babies, you fool. All the ranks of the sugar army will destroy us!
  15. But they were on his side, so he was fine. They even offered to let him operate the torture equipment on some enemy Glycyrrhizinites.

  17. Okay, hmm. Let's give this a shot. Not quite as suspicious as keeping a poke vote on someone for nearly the entire cycle. But for now, I'm willing to believe it's just inactivity. Kind of suspicious, but probably NAI. It just feels too obvious for eliminators. Again, suspicious- but too obvious a move. Eliminators would have to be gutsy to do something like this, especially since it runs the risk of skewing other's opinions towards them negatively. A questionable reason for a vote, made more suspicious by the fact that it brings the vote count on Elkanah. His reasoning for the vote plus the withdrawal feel quite suspicious. He is a new player, however, so I can believe him for now, but... Araris's reasoning seems reasonable. It all seems in line with how I could expect a talented player to act, regardless of whether they were village or elim. The fact that Elkanah had a vote on him already, though- even if it was just a poke-vote- feels... odd. Overall, this almost feels like the elims trying to get away with a lynch. Three votes on one person is not a negligible number. The fact that once put under scrutiny it basically vanished doesn't really help it any. The problem is, the excuses that Araris and The_God_King made seem legitimate enough by themselves. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to vote for either of them... but the whole situation just doesn't feel coincidental. I don't know. I think I'll have to revisit this later in the cycle. Hopefully more information will have become available by then.
  18. The text shattered into nothingness, destroyed by Jacob's Shard-pen. He nodded with satisfaction and wrote something else down on his clipboard. With that, he vanished. He nearly missed it.
  19. Jacob's hand shot out and he caught the memo mid-slap. He slipped it into his clipboard and crossed out the text written on it.
