  1. "Alright!" said Gerald. All of a sudden, the arm shot out, extending forwards to wrap around a tree twenty feet away. Gerald yelped as he was yanked forwards, landing with a thunk into the tree. "So that's what that does," he called back.

There was a distinctive shwoop sound as reality shifted behind them. "You have arrived!" announced the voice.
  3. Jared's eyes narrowed. A Silence speaker? There were only a few reasons he could think of for why one such would be here, and none of them were good. The voice paused, as if in thought. Apparently, the question was uncommon enough to lack a ready-made response. "A paper copy can be commissioned in the Store," said the voice at last. "But I will always be available, should you have any questions."
  5. "Do you want to help me figure out what it does?" suggested Gerald.

  9. Jared jumped slightly, eyes widening in shock for a brief moment before realization struck. That's none of your business, he responded coldly.
  10. Jared thrust a picture in the man's general direction. A woman, brown-haired and with glasses. "Have you seen her?" he asked tersely. There was a negatory grunt from the barkeep. Jared narrowed his eyes. The barkeep didn't respond. Jared sighed, turning to the pair. "I don't suppose you've seen her?" he asked, part angry, part hopeful, and part just tired. @I think I am here. @Bearer of all agonies
  11. The door slammed open as Jared strode in and walked up to the bar. "Where's the barkeep?" he asked. @I think I am here. @Bearer of all agonies
