  1. "Everyone get on," called Jack. @Matrim's Dice @Condensation @The Ward's Guard @Negative_Null "Now," he asked Jay. "Perhaps you could tell me more about this friend of yours that needs helping?"
  2. "It is if you wish to remain undispersed," replied the man, dissolving his pocket.
  3. The man snapped, and the cuff of Mustachio's sleeve turned to dust. "Impossible, I'm afraid," he replied smoothly. "The gauntlet is nonremovable."
  4. "Something you should be very, very afraid of," replied the man. "Now. Have you seen the orb I described?"
  5. Because Kaladin was having a better day than usual.
  6. The man glanced at the aisle. He raised his gauntlet. A beam of black light shot out and enveloped the items, erasing them from existence. "There," he said. "Fixed."
  7. "Well, nothing yet," said the man. "I'm looking for an orb, you see- about this big?" He gestured a ball about the size of a head. "It glows orangish-red and acts as power source?"
  8. "Stupid gauntlet," muttered the man, finally managing to extract himself. "Well, I suppose here is as good a place to start looking as any... do you know where the owner of this store is?"
  9. "Where... where am I?" muttered the man, struggling to pick himself up out of the assortment of items he'd landed in.
  10. Jared watched the mayhem through a window.
  11. There was a loud bang and a crash as one of the aisles collapsed. In the center of the mayhem sat a dazed looking man wearing a metal gauntlet studded with jet-black gemstones.
  12. X stopped the cycle before it became infinite.
  13. X was saddened by extension. Or maybe it was the other way around? Either way, X was glad Nameless agreed.
  14. "You're good enough," replied Psyder. "Most of the forces you see here are just as green as you are- we've done a bit of recruiting recently. Believe me, you're above average. Now, take this." He handed her a knife. It was short, simple, and unornamented save for a single runic sigil on the hilt. Despite its unassuming appearance, it radiated an aura of power. "Mordite blade," explained Psyder. "A good hit with this should finish it off-" Psyder yelled, disappearing in a flash of shadow as the lightning struck true. A moment or so passed. "For blight's sake," he growled as he popped back into existence, energy newly rejuvenated. He flicked out a knife. He hadn't been planning on getting involved in the fighting, but if this arrogant has-been was going to try and interfere...
