  1. The Red team's new clue is: Modification 2 @Steeldancer @Rebecca @Darkness_ @Jondesu Link to gameboard
  2. Lift was an Innocent Bystander.
  3. Waxillium Ladrian is a red agent; however, Sophie Tarscel is a blue agent. Therefore, the red teams turn is over (before Vin/King Yomem can be guessed). @xinoehp512, you’re up.
  4. @Darkness_ @Steeldancer @Rebecca Remember, you guys only have ~3hrs left to submit your final guesses (in bold). You can submit up to 5 guesses, but they’ll be counted sequentially.
  5. Sorry for jumping the gun, everyone. I misread Hero’s post that he was finished guessing as his team was finished guessing. For turn end, are people going to bold Pass Turn or are we just waiting for the timer to run out. Also, in case people were wondering, the agent count is as follows: 9 blue agents 8 red agents 7 bystanders 1 Assassin in White
  6. The Red team's clue is: Nobleman 4 @Steeldancer @Rebecca @Darkness_ Link to gameboard
  7. I haven't seen anywhere that the Fools are the Heralds, just that they correspond to the Heralds. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/194-general-reddit-2011/#e4157
  8. I'd like to play. I can also be a spymaster, if necessary (I own Codenames IRL).
  9. Hoid is certainly not powerful enough to fight a shard. There’s a difference between working against somebody (e.g. undermining their plans, etc.) and actually going mono a mono.
  10. Did you read Words of Radiance? Navani refused to even talk to Shallan after she broke the news.
  11. He said it’s similar but not quite the same. I agree that this is the mechanism by which Odium is attempting to break the Oathpact. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/256-oathbringer-london-signing/#e8665
  12. I agree that the dagger is likely made from Odium’s god metal, although we don’t have confirmation. We do, however, have a WOB that there’s a different gemstone for each Herald. More info here:
  13. I think that this is too obvious to be the main storyline behind the Cosmere. I think that Brandon's quote also points to it being a red herring.
  14. My gut agrees with your gut, but would this be too similar to Mistborn? Preservation + Ruin = Harmony? Cultivation + Odium + (Honor) = Unity? It's an interesting idea, but it would take away the (current) primary antagonist in the cosmere: Odium. What would that leave for the Cosmere finale?
  15. Yelig-nar was not kept inside the gemstone, he just needs the stone to be inside of someone in order to manifest himself in the Physical Realm. There are multiple threads speculating about the fate of Queen Aesudan. I believe she's gone completely.
  16. Probably Odium referring to himself as "Passion." Which is technically true, I will admit, but only under a very specific frame of reference that - to put it mildly - doesn't hold up under scrutiny. I think that Odium is lying when he describes his intent as Passion. He's using it as a euphemism to make himself seem less evil. The only other thing I can think of is sort of the reverse: a shard corrupting its holder (Ati once being a "kind and generous man").
  17. This isn't really related to the Five Scholars at all, but I would argue that magic actually would have the opposite effect. The ease by which magic allows you to accomplish things can interfere with normal technological development. Similar to how (Mistborn Era 2 spoilers)
  18. So, it's actually very difficult for splinters/cognitive shadows to leave their world. WOB WOB You do raise an interesting point about Rosharan magic being used off world. Regular surgebinding wouldn't work well, as you'd quickly run out of Stormlight. However, whatever it is that the Fused do (voidbinding or corrupted surgebinding) is powered (presumably) by voidlight, which we really don't know much about. I wonder if the mechanism by which they're getting voidlight would work off world?
  19. It seems like this could be the mechanism by which Odium shatters shards. If the shards were somehow heavily invested in a planet/moon, and that body was destroyed, forming an asteroid belt. They could be literally shattered.
  20. I like where you're going with that. I actually have no Idea where you're going with that. Harmony being a synonym for Unity would actually be evidence against it being a new merged shard. Because then there would be multiple shards with the same intent, which doesn't seem likely.
  21. A common theory is that Shalash somehow becomes a Dustbringer. Remember that the Heralds without their honorblades are no longer surgebinders.
  22. Honorblades wielded by Knights Radiant would either grant access to new surges, or slightly enhance existing surges. WOB
  23. We have a WOB that Vasher came to Roshar with Nightblood, and then was separated after:
  24. We have a WOB that you don't necessarily have to literally inhale to intake Stormlight, so it's possible that Nale's doing something like that. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/35-arcanum-unbounded-hoboken-signing/#e2533
