  1. Despite my name, I'm not actually good at spontaneous posting. It almost always takes me a long time and several rereads of the thread to decide how I want to put my thoughts into words. I do respond to PMs and summons, though. In an effort to drag more people into the discussion, I will vote on A Joe in the Bush, who through two cycles has never had a vote stick to him. Joe, you've posted at around this time before. 14 hours ago, you said you were going to look at Elenion, Shqueeves, Mac, and me. Has your investigation turned up anything? With less than six hours left in the cycle, we're only at 53% voter turnout. @A Joe in the Bush, @livinglegend, @Shqueeves, @BrightnessRadiant, @MacThorstenson, @Ecthelion III, and @Coop772, make sure to get your votes in before the end of the cycle. Votes (Please Copy and Paste this when you make a vote!): Shqueeves (2): Drought, RippleGylf Devotary (1): Lopen Mac (2): Len, Monster Drought (1): Arinian Elenion (1): Bort Joe (1): Devotary
  2. My laptop screen broke a few hours before rollover, so I wasn’t able to respond to votes 2 and 3. In response to @livinglegend, I tend to be very cautious about role claiming in PMs because I can never be sure that someone is a villager unless they have been scanned or have lead a vote on an active eliminator. To @TheMightyLopen and @MonsterMetroid, is there anything in particular you find suspicious of me? I have never been extremely active in thread, I think my four posts on C1 were a personal record high.
  3. While Mac misstated some information in his post (His vote on Randuir came before Monster, livinglegend, and Joe had voted), his explanation makes me more inclined to believe that he's a villager. There have definitely been times where I've wanted to use RNG rather than rereading the thread for hours searching for someone to vote on. For the time being, I will vote on Shquueves. He placed the fourth vote on Mac for the latter's statement that he wanted to do his best to avoid being lynched C1 twice in a row. With around five and a half left in the cycle, @livinglegend, @Bort, @BrightnessRadiant, and @Ecthelion III have not yet voted. @Coop772 and @Elenion are also at risk despite having previously voted. Please get your votes in so you don't die.
  4. Based on the latest vote tally, it seems that no one's vote was removed. We might have just lost our only captain. I'm a little concerned about @Elenion's request to have the Awakeners claim in PMs. While it would be useful to know who was roleblocked, I think the risk of an Awakener exposing themselves to an elim outweighs the benefits. Awakeners, if you do know a trusted villager, feel free to disregard my fears.
  5. My reason for voting on Roid is gone, so Monster. As far as I can tell, everyone has been voted on at least once except for Bort, so I'll fix that now.
  6. Have another vote count. Would you like to add your vote @A Joe in the Bush to get us to 100% voter turnout among active players? Arinian(2) Elenion, Droughtbringer Lopen(2) Shqueeves, Monster Ecthelion(2) Coop, Mac Monster(2) Devotary, Lopen Straw(1) Randuir Randuir(1) Straw Legend(1) Bort Elenion(1) Brightness Droughtbringer(1) Ripplegylf Shqueeves(1) Arinian
  7. Updated vote tally. Includes my vote on Monster, who has posted twice but not yet voted. Arinian(2) Elenion, Droughtbringer Lopen(2) Shqueeves, Coop Straw(1) Randuir Randuir(1) Straw Legend(1) Bort Elenion(1) Brightness Coop(1) Lopen Droughtbringer(1) Ripplegylf Shqueeves(1) Arinian Monster(1) Devotary
  8. "Say you are a sentry. You target me. At the same time, I targeted myself, and Joe targeted me. In total, I have been targeted by 3 people: you, myself, and Joe. You will see that I was targeted by myself and Joe." Sentries don't get to know which player took what action, if I'm reading this part of the rules correctly. This might not come up, but it's possible that a dead sentry will have two players target them the cycle they die. We should still probably lynch one of the players on the list, but it's just something to be wary of.
  9. "I'll bet a scrap of cloth against your frayed rope." Fahmexa rolled the dice. A 5 and a 6, an instant loss. She handed Jeo the cloth without another word. Edit: Whoops, an 11 is a win, not a loss. Fahmexa will take the rope instead.
  10. I think I have enough time to play this game. I'll sign up us Fahmexa, a voluntary drab who donated her breath to her sickly brother.
  11. Your house didn't make either of the kills last night, so you succeeded if that's what you were going for. I don't think we should try to lynch Orlok unless he keeps getting people killed. His death doesn't help anybody win, so I see little reason to kill him. The only other current candidate for the lynch is from my house, so I'm not going to vote yet.
  12. This game isn't about if you betray your house members, but when. Mage's death removes one obstacle from my path to victory yes, but it also weakens my bargaining position in relation to the other houses. Nobody can win until there are 1 or fewer living members in each house. Getting everyone else in your house killed too soon leaves you vulnerable to anyone who comes along threatening to murder you if you don't cooperate. House Tormander seems to be taking this threat seriously, if their unilateral defense of Drought is anything to go by.
  13. Well I can't vote for Mage, as much as I'd want to, so I'll vote for Drought instead. A tied lynch helps nobody. Edit: Ahh, ninja'd by Mage! Oh well. We've already killed No Lynch last cycle, so I feel like it would be better to lynch someone who is still alive.
  14. There certainly seems to be a lot of anti-Joe sentiment. As a whole, we have spent the entire game trying to kill off his house, and now there's a lynch on Joe himself.
  15. Walin didn't want people to retract their votes on him, but it seems highly unlikely that Drought will die, especially if we all vote for No Lynch
  16. "You may also, at any time you want, make any number of PM’s with any number of other Players." I don't see any reason to lynch Drought in particular, especially as House Tormander now has a full five members. For now, I will vote on Walin, who is a member of the house that seems to be most interested in seeing Drought dead.
  17. So it seems certain that Steeldancer and Monster are our two remaining elims. As neither of them have acid, we should be able to lynch one of them and have me shoot the other.
  18. I agree with Len here. Caesura. I'm not a fan of assuming that there are three elims left, but it does seem reasonable to suppose that there are at least two remaining, and that only one of them is BR or Monster. That means that at least one of Caesura, Steeldancer, and me is evil. As the counter-lynch on C1 to save Steeldancer came mostly from confirmed non-elims and his vote on me did not seem to be coordinated, I trust him more than Caesura. @BrightnessRadiant Caesura took a bribe on C4.
  19. There are now two guns left in the supply. @Sart, can we have some rule clarifications for how this works? I'm guessing that if two players go for a gun, both of them get one with no fight being triggered, while if three players go for guns, one player claims a gun without incident while the other two fight over the second one. If a quick player is involved in the latter scenario, they would get a gun for sure while the other two fight for the second gun. Otherwise, everything is determined randomly.
  20. Signing up as Lord Grumbles, who would prefer longer nights. Does this mean you need at least 24 players to run this game? Does "You cannot vote on a member of your house" mean that you cannot color their name in red, that you cannot have their name in red at the end of the cycle, or simply that if you vote on them, it won't count? If you attempt to use an atium action and fail, do you lose the atium? And of course, what happens if a mistborn attacks someone protected by enhanced hazekillers?
  21. I don't need bribes as much since I am not the thief, I didn't take a bucket of acid because of Eternum's post, and I believed that Joe and Livinglegend were going for the map and the gun respectively. From there, I decided to go for the chalk over a crab because I thought I could get it, because I wanted to make up for QF 29 where the person I was protecting died anyway, and because chalk fits my name better. If Orlok does end up killing BR tonight, which is not assured as there is chalk and acid out there, it would probably be best to lynch someone o I don't need bribes as much since I am not the thief, I didn't take a bucket of acid because of Eternum's post, and I believed that Joe and Livinglegend were going for the map and the gun respectively. If Orlok does end up killing BR tonight, which is not assured as there is chalk and acid out there, it would probably be best to lynch someone outside of the abstainers. Caesura, Jondesu, Manukos and I haven't participated very much outside of a few votes and taking items. Kynedath is in trouble for mixing up C2 and C3. While questioning whether the sneak was a confirmed elim was valid, as it was entirely possible at that point that the sneak merely didn't trust Joe. Steeldancer almost got lynched for his PM strategy on C1. Later, he voted on me for lurking, and is currently focused on Len for being too confident. I will also place my vote on Elenion for now. He was made a number of absolute statements; that the sneak had to have been an elim, that BR must have been the one that placed the kill order, and that Kynedath must be evil for giving an incorrect explanation for a post.
  22. Alvron was the one who took the map D1. Before he was lynched D2, he passed it on to an unidentified player who then did not use it last cycle.
  23. If I don't have a strong opinion on who might be evil, I tend to say nothing at all. It's unfortunate, but I don't seem to be able to break the habit. I suppose I will vote for A Budgie today, and if she turns out to be a villager focus on BR and Len.
