  1. That would be rather overpowered and destructive. Nevertheless, since Coop has volunteered to be a test subject, I'll vote for Ecthelion instead. If Steeldancer and Droughtbringer survive, I'll be more willing to help Jondesu with his win condition.
  2. Where are they then? Their names didn't appear on the posted player lists for Roshar or Taldain, and I know they're not on Nalthis. Scadrial is the only other place they could be. @A Joe in the Bush, @RippleGylf, could you double-check your player lists? Especially Joe, as Randuir confirmed the Roshar list.
  3. The problem was that the vote tally I was looking at indicated 3 votes on Eternum, when there were actually 4: LL, Ripple, HH, and Jondesu. The player list for Nalthis is: Devotary _Stick_ YoungBard Magestar Megasif Elbereth (Sand Lord) Assuming nobody is lying about the planet lists, the player list for Scadrial is thus: Droughtbringer Drake livinglegend Pyromancer Steeldancer (Patji)
  4. Casting a vote with an aspect takes an action, so none of them could have voted as HH took one action to worldhop to Taldain and one action to create Trell. Similarly, he will only ever be able to cast a maximum of three votes every day, unless he somehow manages to get a charge of Ambition's Investiture. As he didn't use a Shardic action, it's still possible he's uncorrupted. Once he makes his fourth aspect/Ruin destroys Roshar, hopefully he'll abstain from using Autonomy's powers so as to avoid being corrupted.
  5. HH can't vote with an aspect if he wants to make a new one today. Pyromancer retracted his vote on Jondesu. The three votes on him are me, Drake, and Fifth.
  6. I think it's now 4 votes for Eternum, 3 votes for Jondesu, and 3 votes for Ripple. Would you like to place a vote?
  7. Changes in Bold So with just a few minutes left, we have a tied lynch between @Jondesu and @Eternum. HH probably won't intervene in the lynch because he has to take two actions to worldhop and create an Aspect, but Ambition, Devotion, or an Elantrian could still manipulate the lynch. I really don't know who to vote for. I don't want to risk a tied lynch though, so I will vote for Jondesu. If a better lynch candidate shows up in the next ten minutes, I could switch my vote.
  8. Neutral win conditions do not trigger the end of the game. Of the ten players other than yourself still alive, only three of them have voted on you. If you explain your confidence in achieving your win condition, I'm willing to be a volunteer. I might be willing to join an Ecthelion lynch later, as there appears to be no inactivity filter and since it was the Skybreakers who killed Kynedath, it's unlikely that there's a village/neutral kill role still available.
  9. Since Ruin can worldhop during the day, its entirely possible that they went to Nalthis or Scadrial last night and intend to go to either Roshar or Taldain today. Being on a planet that blows up is equally suspicious whether someone travelled there or just didn't leave. If we're not ruling out Taldain, I don't think we should rule out any of the four planets. I can confirm that Honor is not on Taldain. Why do you think Dominion would out themselves to the thread just to accuse Drought? Your post here indicates that you would be perfectly willing to lynch Dominion's Vessel, making it unlikely that they would be willing to claim. Arbitrarily narrowing down a list of suspects is how we got the Straw-HH lynch. Why have you chosen to discard the refugees on Taldain, Nalthis, and Scadrial as possibilities? The distribution of refugees is not skewed enough to support the theory that everyone not on Roshar is cleared. I'll put in a vote sometime in the next hour and a half, but for now I'd like to tag @A Joe in the Bush. Have you/Orlok done anything that would clear you of being Ruin? In the world doc, you claimed that Orlok's Night0 action was trying and failing to steal Investiture from Ruin.
  10. @Droughtbringer, you also voted on Jondesu. Do you have a hiccuping disease as well?
  11. The Inmates are the right people to be killing. They are Evil, and it is our job to kill such people. Apparently, there is still at least one Evil player still alive. There are probably no more than two Inmates left, and if the Skybreakers didn't kill Kynedath, the player who did might be evil. It's entirely possible that there's an alignment scanner, as three of the uncovered roles are able to change the results of alignment scans. What did you mean when you said you caught a hiccuping disease?
  12. So Orlok, Amanuensis, and _Stick_ have already won. That was fast. Player List: 1. Walin: Nalter, a tastespren scholar 2. Jondesu: Div 3. Devotary of Spontaneity: Akhanaka, a fearless ardent 4. Eternum: Aiden 5. Droughtbringer 6. STINK: Trumpet Guy, BWOOT 7. Madagascar: "Mad" Mapadonet, a famous pig researcher. 8. Herowannabe: Nabbers, a Herdazian chouta street vendor 9. Coop772 10. Ecthelion 11. Steeldancer At least one of these players is evil. At least one player who is not an Escaped Inmate has a kill role, unless a kill got redirected somehow. Someone has just changed alignment.
  13. We have about 45 minutes left in the cycle, and 2 people have not yet responded. @Ecthelion III, @Coop772, would either of you care to reply? @Jondesu is playing chaotically and has said he won't explain himself. He's acting like a neutral, and probably is, but I do wonder why his vote is still on Steeldancer now that Drought claimed to have the same role as Steel. @livinglegend has claimed citizen after an initial ambiguous claim C1. He has not yet responded to my latest questions, which is unfortunate. However, looking back at previous games I see that he is indeed a follower of the gods of Luck and Chance, so I am willing to believe the vote on Drought to bring the lynch closer to a tie was not an attempt to save a teammate. I'm open to voting for either Jon or LL, but would prefer another target. I'm not sure who that would be, but I'll try to vote before the cycle ends. Edit: Hello Coop. Feel free to ignore the summons.
  14. Randomly distributed does not necessarily mean equally distributed. Depending on how many refugees went to Nalthis, Ruin could have gone to a planet other than Roshar and there would still be a good chance that the distribution was random. @Elbereth, @Megasif, @Magestar, @Hemalurgic Headshot, you four are on Nalthis. Can any of you tell us how many of you were refugees and how many of you worldhopped to Nalthis?
  15. I can confirm that these players were on Taldain last cycle. Steel obviously isn't Ruin, but Joe and Jondesu are possibilities. Would you be willing to provide charges of Odium's Investiture? If you, and possible future Returned, are willing to do this, it would go a long way towards making sure this game doesn't last for months. A Returned working with Dominion could produce two charges of Investiture every cycle without dying, but there's no indication Dominion would be willing to Invest in a village Returned every day turn. @randuir-By removing claimed Shards from the list, your assuming that Ruin has had the same Vessel the whole time. If we assume that, we can eliminate Magestar from the list as Straw successfully Invested in him. Probable Ruins: Young Bard - Jeral Eternum - Habrian Fifth Scholar - Darrel Jondesu - Quintus Droughtbringer - Ralar livinglegend - Unnamed Character 3 A Joe in the Bush - Locke Tekiel RippleGylf - Willie Megasif - Mega shanerockes - Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III Drake Marshall - Everen Elbereth - Elaria That's still over half the players. Who arrived on Roshar this cycle Randuir? Who is newly arrived on Nalthis and Scadrial? Revealing player lists shouldn't be much of a burden because everyone can worldhop today, but it will hopefully narrow down the list of potential Ruins.
  16. Why would this make you believe his neutral claim? If you made a misleading claim, what was stopping Drake from doing the same? And so we learn of another reason for the apparent lack of vote manipulation. I would advise any other Scholars to not roleclaim, as that just tells any vote manipulators who not to target.
  17. Jondesu(1): Steeldancer livinglegend(2): Herowannabe, Amanuensis Steeldancer(1): Jondesu, Kynedath Droughtbringer(1): Walin Edit: Accidentally Posted
  18. Orlok PMd me, Steel, and possibly Fifth Scholar with less than ten minutes left in the cycle, asking us to vote on Drake. He also publicly urged everyone to vote for Drake here: I would say that these count as pushing a lynch, especially as it happened so late in the cycle. Looking at the vote tally, I see no evidence of vote manipulation, which is interesting. This could be a product of how quickly the lynch developed, or it could mean that any vote manipulators decided not to use their abilities, or there could be no vote manipulation at all. Not sure what's going on with livinglegend, but he's already been tagged twice and voted on twice. I'd like to hear what he has to say before voting on him.
  19. Are you planning to go for Autonomy's Shardic win condition? If not, do you have a plan for passing your Shard? @Seonid, could HH use his Shardic action for extra votes if he passed his Shard this turn? Straw could potentially survive the lynch if he still has the charge of Preservation's Investiture he claims he took N0. He also said he burned it N1, so he shouldn't be able to survive. I'm also not sure why HH is getting lynched. He's almost certainly not Hoid or Khriss unless he's held off from converting. Unless Pyromancer is lying to save him, which seems highly unlikely, HH is Autonomy. He could be a N0 convert. Straw meanwhile, has had his actions confirmed by two separate people, so he's either Preservation or someone on a team with Preservation. Straw is more likely to be Hoid/Khriss, as his N0 action cannot be confirmed, though since nobody has claimed to have taken Investiture from Preservation it's likely that he's telling the truth. I just lost half my post. Sigh. Unless Drake or YoungBard switches their vote in the next few minutes, the lynch will end in a tie. There's no longer enough time to switch to alternative candidates, and since Straw is slightly more likely to be evil than HH, I will vote for Straw.
  20. I do think that a Drake lynch will provide more information than killing someone that hasn't posted yet. I find it interesting that Orlok has pushed this lynch so hard, but I'm willing to go along with it.
  21. Only fifteen minutes left in the cycle and I still haven't figured out who I want to vote for. The main thing that's odd about this is that Drake claims that killing evils isn't part of his win condition, then proceeds to place a vote on a player tied for the lynch. @Drake Marshall, does lynching people further your agenda? I understand that didn't want Madagascar to die, but we don't know what happens with a tied lynch, so why did you decide to break the tie to get someone killed?
  22. @Orlok Tsubodai, you believe Drought is a villager because of his initial comment where he said it was a shame he was evil? @Droughtbringer,you are currently being lynched. Would you like to speak in your defense?
  23. Fair enough. Analyzing behavior is always going to be the main method of finding elims, but I see that I overemphasized the initial part of your statement. D1 lynches are unreliable, but they don't have to be random. Blackout makes it harder because we don't know whether the elim(s) have teammates who will defend them, but that doesn't mean we can't have valid suspicions, especially with 31/2 pages of discussion so far. I probably should have responded before now, but I didn't want to take my vote off of Eternum until I found another viable lynch target. It usually takes me at least an hour to find someone worth lynching, and I haven't had that amount of time since Eternum responded to my question. And then it turns out that I'm not voting now anyway, so I really should have posted sooner. Eternum. We still have almost 3 hours left in the cycle, which should be enough time for @Madagascar to respond to the two votes on her. I would like to see her response before making a final vote, so I'll leave a tie for now. I will be back on before the end of the day. Here are your clear chips, @Herowannabe.
  24. The identity of the players who lynch a Shard has no effect on where the Shard ends up. if Autonomy!HH is lynched, his Shard will pass to a random non-Vessel player. If Preservation!Straw is lynched, his Shard will pass to Magestar. New Vote Tally(condensed): Straw(7-10): Pyromancer, Magestar, Fifth Scholar, Megasif, Randuir, Eternum, HH, (Sand Lord), (Patji), (Anonymous) HH(4): Elbereth, _Stick_, Jondesu, Straw livinglegend(1): YoungBard Jondesu(1): Drake
