Yep, pretty much. =P I had like, 5 more paragraphs I was gonna write, but it you confusing Ghander with Turtle clears it up pretty dang well. It does make it seem like Turtle was absolutely trying to pocket you, furthering my suspicion of her.

Okay, I finally have the last piece of the puzzle. I have been PMing a lot of people, and have found that NUMEROUS contradictions have arose. I will now list them all. Please read this whole post, as it will basically cover everything. 1. Turtle Okay, my PMs with turtle have been very eventful. We had some idle chatter yesterday, didn’t seem like much, but in hindsight, could have definitely been an attempt to pocket me. Then comes the PM chain. This revealed so much. So, turtle PMs me, saying that she had received multiple PMs saying that Gears was the one who was Roleblocked, and to try and throw Gears off, Turtle told me that she had PMd Gears that Quinn was the one who had been Roleblocked. Then, there was some PM confusion, and I think this was Turtle’s downfall. In our main PM, the one with the idle chatter and the one in which I sent them chainmail, Turtle told me. “Oh no, someone just told me that Quinn was the one who was Roleblocked.” She said this in that tone because I had just been talking about how I was concerned and surprised that we hadn’t seen any Elim tampering. So it seems like she was bringing that up as a sign of Elim tampering. But I think Turtle messed up. Because we had an accidental other chat, one with only one message, where Turtle told me that they had PMd Gears with that fake Quinn chainmail. So this is Discrepancy #1. Why would Turtle be surprised that her own chainmail was spreading, that’s what chainmail does. It spreads. And why would she use it as evidence of Elim tampering, she was the one that started it. Turtle tried to cover up her mistake by saying that she wasn’t surprised at the chainmail, she was surprised that Gears had apparently spread it. She claimed that she thought Gears wouldn’t do that. I don’t know why Gears wouldn’t, but that’s irrelevant, and I’ll tell you why. 2. Gears So these aren’t going to be discrepancies in and of themselves, but my PMs with Gears are a big source of evidence for other contradictions. I asked Gears if Turtle had told them that Quinn was the Roleblockee, and he did confirm that, no discrepancy there. But he said that he hadn’t forwarded that chainmail to anyone else, so how could it have gotten back to Turtle? This sent me on a chain, trying to trace down anyone that could have sent it to Turtle, I was talking to Fadran, Ghander, everybody denied forwarding that to Turtle, or to anyone else. So that’s Discrepancy #2. Why did Turtle say that someone had PMd her the Quinn chainmail, when I had ruled out everyone who could have? I asked Turtle who sent it to them, and they said that they didn’t want to answer. 3. Fadran Fadran is honestly a mess. I have no idea what is up with them, but they are lying about everything, and being incredibly dodgy at the same time. Although, they might not be Elim, just very very very new. But Elim is definitely a possibility. ...okay, Nevermind, according to new information from Fadran, they had Ghander confused with Turtle, which removes many if not all of the Fadran-Ghander contradictions that were going to fill up the rest of this post. I think I’m probably forgetting something, but I’m posting it. Be sure to check this again in case I edit in more info.

Okay, well this certainly explains a lot, and helps with my Turtle case. I think this actually makes the second half of my massive post somewhat irrelevant, so I’ll post what I have so far. Edit: can someone post so that I don’t double post? This this is big. Well, less big now, but still probably deserves its own post.

I never PMd Fadran about Quinn either. Edit: I never PMd anyone saying that Quinn was Roleblocked for the record.

I don’t think Gears is Elim. Or at least, I don’t think this chain proved that he is. He might still be, but I don’t think the chain is enough evidence. Mainly because of the fact that we haven’t seen any evidence of Elim tampering. The only deviation from the chain that we’ve seen has been somewhat explained. Makes me think that it’s been under the Elims control from the beginning. And then there’s the possibility that the chain is accurate, and Gears was RBd. But if SoR is TLR or a ‘wounded gazelle’, gears being RBd doesn’t mean anything. I’m removing my vote from Ventyl, and changing my vote to Turtle, I don’t think their explanation for all the weird things surrounding them makes enough sense.

Oh true. On that note, I did actually think of another insane plan to still have PMs, even if TLR is killed. Ciphers. Everyone would exchange a cipher code with everyone else, and then we could post PM messages in the thread, but they could only be read by the person with the decode method. This is obviously completely impossible and would be an absolute mess, but it would theoretically work.

I agree with this, but not necessarily the order. I think we vote Reading first, for the WGG, then maybe turtle or aman, as they’re still highly suspicious. I think the gears chain is either an Elim ploy, or maybe they RBer did actually RB gears, but reading was spiked so it didn’t actually matter. I think a Reading lynch gives us the most info, so reading first.

Turtle, you have continued to somewhat dodge the question that I’ve asked you in both this thread, and PMs. If you knew that I knew that you started the chain, why would you act surprised when it came around to you again? Turtle said, and I (almost) quote. “Storms, I was just PMd that Quinn was roleblocked.” (Not an exact quote because quoting from PMs is illegal iirc, but that’s almost exactly what they said.) So why would you be surprised by that? You started the chain.

Also, I think the only reason we have 2 chains is because Turtle was intentionally trying to mislead Gears. Turtle told me that they had only seen Gears, but then Turtle had to PM gears, so Turtle told Gears, Quinn, because telling Gears that he was the main target probably wasn’t very smart. So that whole chain was intentionally fake. But then, turtle acted confused to me in PMs when the Quinn chain came around to Turtle again. But Turtle started that chain, why would they be surprised? There was some PM confusion, where me and Turtle had 2 PMs, so maybe Turtle didn’t realize that I knew that Turtle had started it. Verrrrrrrrery suspicious. (also, if this whole post sounds kinda weird, I tried to avoid using any pronouns, because this is a complicated situation and I want to be very clear in whom I’m talking about.)

I have also gotten multiple messages about the same person, but it’s still very possible that the Elims have hijacked this. I expected there to be some discrepancies, and then we would just find whichever was sent the most. The fact that there’s only one discernible chain is concerning.

I think we definitely should, but maybe next cycle. I just want to give the chain time to go around. If you’re the Roleblocker, send a few more messages here and there.

Speaking of this, @Matrim's Dice, can the Lord Ruler have both of the “Lord Ruler Faction Specific Roles”? Does he have to have both? Can he only have one? Does he have to have any at all?

That was always kinda the plan, especially since it’s possible that @Shard of Reading is just the Lord Ruler. Yeah, give the chain a while to spread. It felt pretty Bandwagony to me. You did make your own argument...kinda. I don’t necessarily have you down as hard, 100% Elim, but I feel like I oughta vote someone, and right now you’re my best guess. SfS gave me reasons to not vote them. You did not come up.

The Elims obviously. Also, changing my vote to Ventyl. Somebody made some ok points in PM. I’m still suspicious of them, but they removed enough suspicion for me to remove my vote. Also also, Matrim, do you want us to green out old votes if we’re doing a new vote in the same post? Straw didn’t need us to in LG71, but every GM is different.

I actually don’t think Books is Elim. Well, I don’t really think they’re Vil either, I have them as Null. My plan is a little iffy, and they made some valid points. I’m going for Somebody from Sel or Ventyl, as they seemed very bandwagony. Also there is the person who I’ve seen the most in the PM chain, but I think we let the chain go for a while, maybe have them be the vote next cycle.
