Ok cool! Looks like there’s enough interest to maybe actually do this. I’ll work on setting it all up (thinking of a basic plot and scenario, maybe making some maps, etc) and then we can do this! Update: it’s been a while, and I still want to do this, but AP Calculus is kinda dominating my life right now, so I might not get around to setting this up for a while longer. I just woke up a few minutes ago, and I had a crazy weird dream. I’ve already forgotten most of it, but here are some scenes I remember. I had to infiltrate some sort of Barge, it was some giant military ship or something. I just kept acting like I belonged there and nobody questioned me. On that barge I found someone playing the original Super Mario Bro’s for the NES, but Mario had a sword. Then I was doing some sort of physical fitness exam on the barge, and one of my friends was there. I think before all this there was something about me driving to Walmart to get something, and I was street racing somebody or something. Also for part of this I think I was watching from the POV of Candace from Phineas and Ferb, and that makes no sense at all. I’m forgetting this so fast, at the beginning of me writing this I remember having a lot more stuff to say. Also, wow, the friend I mentioned that was in the dream just barged into my house and now I have to play Smash Bros with him apparently.

I propose that if you call for judgement and the LR finds that the person you are accusing is innocent, you should be fined the same amount you would be for a rejected rule. I propose that if you call for judgement and the person is found guilty, you receive a portion of their fine, this portion is variable and up to the LR’s discretion. (Yes this is making the Inquisitor rather irrelevant, but I think we can use that role in a better way. (Don’t ask me how, I’m still working on that. (Yay, stacked parenthesis!))) I propose that every rule be given a Name as well as a Number. This would make it easier to refer to them in game. Names can be simple, but you should be able to infer the general purpose of the rule from the name itself. The Lord Ruler will add names for all current rules (or he can task someone with doing it) and all new rules to be proposed must include a name. I’d like to remind people that we have a whole senate system in place and we aren’t using it. We all ought to be seconding rules and stuff.

Ooooh, I have some ideas. Balls could be PMs or something. It’d cost some Atium to throw a ball, and then you could invite some people while shunning others. Don’t know what the benefit of a ball would be exactly. An opportunity to forge alliances away from where everyone can see them?

Yeah, the senate doesn’t vote on every proposal, just proposals that have been seconded. (And ir rule 305 passes, they can vote to overrule a LR ruling. Should we say someone has to second an overruling proposal too? We’d be consistent then.)

Proposal: Instead if everyone with no role automatically being in the senate, you must request to join. Anyone can join, but if you do not vote on a senate proposal after 24 hours, you loose your seat in the senate and cannot get it back for 2 pages. possible amendment: Instead or losing your seat 24 hours after the proposal, you could loose it if you haven’t voted 24 hours after the last person voted.

Most of my other topic intros are fairly long, so let’s try and make this as short as possible. This is a chain game, similar to all my other game threads: Assign a Character, Ask Anyone Anything, and Inverse Ask Anyone Anything. (Shameless self-plug WOOOOOOO!) I don’t expect this thread to go on very long, it’ll probably die in just a few days, but let’s make it a great few days. How to play: Someone gives you a scenario, you say the worst thing you could possibly say in that scenario (“worst” being most awkward, most inappropriate, most rude, whatever; as long as it’s funny. (and within 17th shard guidelines)), then give a scenario to the next person. All scenarios must start with “What’s the worst thing to say”. Examples: What’s the worst thing to say to your Mother-In-Law? What’s the worst thing to say at a high school dance? What’s the worst thing to say when you rear-end someone’s car? As you can see, there are numerous ways you could follow the phrase “What’s the worst thing to say”. You could do WTWTTS to a person, WTWTTS at a place, WTWTTS when something happens, whatever, as long as it makes sense, and gives the following person room to make something funny. You can be as detailed as you want in your prompt or your response. Sometimes long rambling answers can be really funny, if they’re done right. You could create a whole awkward interaction between 2 characters or whatever. You don’t need to directly answer the question. The question is just a prompt, as long as the answer to the prompt is somewhere in your response, you’re good. You could open your response with some in-depth worldbuilding, you could write an entire book in your response, as long as somewhere in your book there’s an awkward scene where a character says something awkward that answers the prompt. Also, you can respond to an earlier prompt if you wish, just quote it so we know what you’re doing, and after that be sure to answer the latest prompt as well. Don’t forget to add your own prompt after you do all that. I’d also like to encourage upvoting stuff, if someone posts something you chuckled at, show your appreciation, give them some of those wonderfully delicious internet points of uselessness!
