This is a thread for all those little things that you want to share, but don’t quite need their own thread. Stuff like: ideas that you haven’t fully fleshed out yet, character outlines that you haven’t used, writing prompts you think could be fun, opening paragraphs that don’t have anything following them. Just those random Bits n Pieces that you want to share or want some feedback on. Here are some openings for some short stories that I wrote forever ago and haven’t continued. I wrote them late at night and hardly remember doing it, but they aren’t horrible, so I’ll share as an example for what this thread could be. “A Kingdom Conferred by a Handshake” “The Storyteller”

Awesome, I found it and have destroyed it. It was actually giving me some trouble at first, it took me quite a few tries, but I found the most OP charm build for this fight. Unbreakable Strength, Quick slash, Stalwart Shell, and Lifeblood Core. You can just completely tank it. I felt like a speedrunner, you just whack whack whack and he’s dead.

I don’t think anyone should have the power to end a vote. I think just going to 24 hours is fine. Otherwise, someone could end a vote whenever they want. Say 4 people vote Yea, and everyone else hasn’t seen it yet but they would have voted nay, and then someone just ends it.

The false knight is the dude at the very beginning right? The white slug thing in the fat armor? Above and to the left of the Forgotten Crossroads Stag Station? I went there and didn’t see a dream thing. Found the empty armor, no dream thing.

Ugh the pantheons sound horrible. I think Path of Pain won’t be super horrible, I tend to like hard platforming. Also, anyone know which bosses have dream forms? I’ve done Soul Tyrant and Lost Kin but I can’t find any others. (Oh and NKG obviously.) Also also, is it possible to kill the dude that protects the resting grounds? Does he give you essence?

When you’re playing a board game or video game or any game really, and you’re thinking so far ahead, you’ve already won the game, you know exactly what your opponent is going to do, but then it turns out your opponent is just BAD and doesn’t do the logical thing to do and messes up your whole genius plan.

Oh this is my new favorite thread. Just a ton of people showing gratitude for the small things that make them smile, it’s really great. This thread. Soft green grass. Sunrises. 1920’s doo-wop music. Inside Jokes. Being somewhere that’s usually really crowded but it’s completely empty. Like your school on a Saturday. Or a church building on a Monday. Or anywhere during quarantine. A cold glass of water with crushed ice. Songs that play during the ending credits of a movie. That feeling of being mildly nervous but also being confident so it just kinda boils down to excited anticipation. Pixar. That feeling after you wake up where you don’t want to get out of bed, not because you’re still tired, but because you were having a cool dream, or you’re just super comfortable. Epic bass lines. Epic bass lines paired with drums and trumpets. Seeing that your favorite artist has a new release. Cloudy days during summer. Turning a ceiling fan on just so you can snuggle with a warm blanket. Having a clean room. Seeing a stray cat.

I agree with all except the color, that seems unnecessary. Do we need clarification between “Yea” and “Nay”? ”Did you mean Nay as in Nay or Nay as in Yea?” Thats not gonna happen. Also, I don’t know that we need a person in charge of posting proposals that have been seconded. The person who seconded could just...use their brain and see if a vote is going. If there is, they don’t post, if there isn’t, they post it. If a vote is going, they can tell the Pm maker in this thread to add it to the queue. We should clarify how long votes last. Is there a rule on that already?

I think a PM is a good idea. It should be only for voting though, absolutely no talking. The House that seconds a proposal, thus sending it to the senate, should be the one to introduce the proposal to the senate in the PM. Everyone else then votes by saying “Yea” or “Nay”. If you want to say why you did or didn’t vote for something, do that in this thread. Stuff like “I would vote for it if we change this” should be here too. No amendments should be made to senate introduced rules after someone has voted and before the voting ends. Also, only one vote should be being voted on at a time. We can have a queue in the first post that’s edited regularly, but I think only one vote should be happening at a time.

That’s.......the main feature of Discord. Basically the entirety of Discord is text chat. Some people will occasionally use a Voice Chat where it’s just like a group phone call, but I’ve never seen anyone use video chat. Didn’t even know that was a thing. When people think of Discord they think of text chat.
