like it’s not a projection or infinitely far away or out of bounds
it is a finite distance away just like that car across the street or the door to your room or the tip of your toes

Slowswift
One of my favorite things is when I can spot earthshine--the slight illumination of the dark portion of the moon, caused by light reflecting off the Earth.
I love the moon.

I sometimes wish the Earth was a moon. Of a gas giant.
Imagine looking into the sky and seeing a world of swirling clouds dominating the sky...with other, smaller worlds just out of reach...
Oh, that would be amazing, wouldn't it? I've often wondered about that myself.
