  1. Eliminating Taravangian (he would do it because his crazy super-intelligent but emotionally compromised self told him to, and would therefore be RIGHT in his actions!) Who would plan the best party with the theme "St. Patrick's Day in late October"?
  2. That is exactly what you are supposed to do. I honestly don't really agree with the other explanations much.
  3. Eliminated cultivation, she would run a Home Depot nursery (and I am only partially doing this because if a shard wins I will feel like the spirit of the list is being betrayed). Who would make the worst dad jokes?
  4. Rashek, for obvious reasons. Who would be the most embarrassing?
  5. Eliminated Silence, because she LITERALLY walked through Hell surrounded by demon-ghosts to save her daughter, and she did it without silence's help. Plus she was a single mother with a successful business anyway. Who wouldn't let their kids play D&D because of Satanic panic?
  6. I would say just Lift's mom, because she seems to have done more things for Lift than just being a mom, and I think it may become important, and Silence's grandmother, because she had an important in-story role and a well defined character, despite being nameless. If I had to chose one for the list I would say the latter.
  7. I know, but it wasn't in the books, and it feels like a kind of weird choice, oh and Taravangian also never had any kids. Also, we should add: Roshone Lift's mom (she isn't named but I feel like she is important) Vo the Returned Sarene (maybe, she was pregnant in Hope of Elantris) Raoden (maybe, see above) Silence William (Silence's husband) Silence's grandmother The Sunmaker
  8. None of the shards or Hoid are parents, and TLR isn't explicitly a parent in the books.
  9. Won't Jewels get jealous?
  10. What about all parents (who have some significance to a plot other than being parents) then? Also, you underestimate the prevalence of dead parents in the cosmere. (I can think of at least 12 big ones from SA alone, and that's just off the top of my head).
  11. What about dead parents? (obviously "died of old age" doesn't count except for maybe Moash's)
  12. Eliminated Yesteel, because it would suck to be a Herald. Who would get captured last by the voidbringers after being sent back to Braize?
  13. Hoid, because then I'd have someone to talk to about the Cosmere. Who would you least want as a sibling?
  14. Eliminating Wyrn (Expensive, delicious, indulgent food for aristocrats? Not in my dystopic empire!) Who would most likely rocks fall, everyone dies their party as a DM or GM?
  15. Eliminating TLR ("Cheap, tasty, nourishing food for peasants? Not in my dystopic empire!") Who would avenge Taln's death, for the honor of the mashed potato?
  16. Parlin, he is a hunter, so he is probably athletic and fast. So Notum joins the hall of fame. I suggest making the next list "characters killed by protagonists".
  17. @Herowannabe, yes, but that isn't actually recognized currency. I was hoping for an amount given in boxings or clips, and I would be shocked if he wasn't on some of the money.
  18. I have a weird question. Does Kelsier ever end up on any currency at any point as far as we know? I am trying to make a parody of the prologue to Hamilton, and I want to put it in to replace "Ten dollar founding father", but the coppermind is strangely lacking on info about any Mistborn currency, despite the fact that we actually have official coin art for both era 1 and era 2 clips and boxings. I know that he is not on those, but from Wax and Wayne I also know that the have many more denominations, and they even have paper money, so more information would be nice.
  19. Oh, sorry. I just thought it was a glitch. Should I delete it again or is there somewhere to move it?
  20. Upthread there is an amazing rendition of Friend Like Me sung by Syl.
  21. Here is another new parody, which I have been thinking about for a long time and am very proud of, however be warned, it contains OB Spoilers: "Bye, Bye, Tanavast What a Guy" (or "The Day That Honor Died") to the tune of "Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie" by Don Mclean
