Can I use an atium Hemalurgic spike to steal Dakhor power from a monk, then use it on myself? Would you rather have a receding hairline or a proceeding hairline (as in, it grows down your forehead and merges with your eyebrows as you get older)?

I'll also have to say that I really disliked Zane. I didn't think his characterization really added anything to the story aside from serving as the "bad boy" in the (IMO) annoyingly shoehorned Elend/Vin/Zane love triangle. He talks and acts like he escaped from a 14-year-old's bad Mistborn fanfiction, and almost ruined Well of Ascension for me. I get that the middle installment of a trilogy is supposed to be the dark and brooding one, but he distracted from the overall tone of the book too much for me to feel anything but annoyance whenever he showed up.

I saw a copy of Alcatraz Smedry versus the Evil Librarians at my local library. Being a bored thirteen-year-old with nothing to do, I picked it up and began reading. I don't really remember much besides being totally confused and annoyed for the first half of the book, though I remember finishing it. I thought it was okay but not great, and thought nothing of it again for years. Then about three years ago, I picked up a totally unrelated novel called Mistborn: The Final Empire. I was on a bit of a fantasy kick at the time, and thought the premise of an epic fantasy heist novel sounded interesting enough to merit a read. The Mistborn OT have since become some of my favorite fantasy books, though it was a long time before I found the Coppermind Wiki and connected the dots and realized the they had the same author.

Steal Brandon's memories of the Cosmere timeline with a copper Hemalurgic spike, then spike myself and finish the books myself. ...why are you all looking at me like that?

Normally I listen to foreign language music so I'm not distracted by lyrics I understand. Lately I'm particularly fond of Russian/Ukrainian folk music:

Either double-Brass so I can radiate enough heat to melt through metal with my bare hands, or Gold-Aluminum for the ability to completely remake myself at will. Both sound pretty boss to me.

That's the plan. I've gotten kind of a head start right now, about 35 pages in (18, 483 words so far). Now if I can just keep from getting sidetracked every time I sit down at my computer...
