Cosmic Deconstruction: Eubeal vs Ioc (non canon battle)
Cyanic replied to Cyanic's topic in The Alleyverse
Eubeal seldom studied the worlds or 'verses that he visited, or was assigned to, but this world seemed very interesting, he wasn't an expert in magic, but he was complete well-versed in all aspects of physics. This 'verse seemed to almost merge the two together, which was astonishing, like how Ioc seemed to change its own gravitational direction, not just direction too, but also intensity. He selected a piece of pebble in front of him and, in an instant, increased both the volume of the pebble to that of a wall and its mass to that of a small hill, roughly 10,000 kg. Making it much almost a thousand times denser and heavier than a wall of its size should be. -
"Suggest prepare before attacking." Deras told Devaan, then looked down at himself. "Under equipped."

Ara woke up to the sounds of flapping from outside, she saw a steady stream of quick-moving shadows dart past her window in the night sky, she couldn't see what was going on, but she could her the frightening sounds. The door to her room burst open and she yelped in surprise. It was her mother. "Ara, dear, we're going to go somewhere tonight, okay?" Her mother said, voice shaky but brave. "I'm... I'm scared, mom." The little girl replied, and her mother walked in, kneeling down to embrace her. "It's okay to be scared, Ara. Come on now, let's get downstairs, your father has our things packed." Ara's mother held her hand and they both made their way down the stairs. Ara ran ahead to the living room, she always felt safer when embracing her father. When she got there she did see her father. His strong features, in a face of determination and focus, zipping up the last of the bags. Ara ran to her father and hugged him tightly. "Dad, what's happening? Where are we going?" "Shh, shh, it's alright, Ara. We just have to go somewhere and then we'll be alright, alright?" He said as he hugged her back. "Now come, we have to--" A scream resounded in another room, it wasn't like anything Ara's ever heard before, she ran to the other room and saw her mother standing there. Covered in red. Just standing motionless. "Mom?" Araha called out, her voice was deeper now, older. Her mother didn't respond, she just stood there. Araha approached the figure, "Mom?" she called out again as she touched the figure's shoulder. Her 'mother' turned. Just a face, a face with red everywhere, the eyes, the cheeks. Just red. -- Araha woke up, gasping for air, but still lying on the bed. She felt something on her hand, like it was being held. It wasn't a moment later when she opened her heavy eyes and saw Ran by her side, she looked down and saw that it was her who was holding Araha's hand. "How are you feeling?" Ran asked as she let go of Araha's hand. "I'm..." she rasped, "surprisingly refreshed." "Wonders of stormlight, Ara." Ran smiled, not in a mature, or cocky way like she usually did. Araha seldom saw her sincerely happy, or maybe just relieved. Araha smiled back, though she found that it was forced. "Another nightmare?" Ran asked, her air of maturity and control returning. "Yeah, not accurate, but..." she trailed off as the memories that she begun to remember tried slinking their way back to the surface, and Araha drowned them in the depths again, "but still scary." Ran nodded wordlessly, holding her hand once again. Araha sat up, seeing some dun spheres beside her. "So, what happened again? I don't remember passing out." Ran smiled, "you shot the bomb into space. You don't remember that?" "I... I did tha...? Tha'wasn't a dream?" "No. You're a hero and I'm proud of you." Ran told her, her smile becoming warm and sincere again. Araha smiled back, her own was genuine this time. "Hah... wow..." Araha's started to well up, "I did that." She muttered. Ran rubbed her thumb on Araha's hand before retracting it. Araha then sniffed roughly, rubbing her eyes. "More importantly! I can surgebind now, does that mean we can finally talk about it?" Ran shrugged in response, "we may, but you may get better information by talking with the Waystop's owner, even more than me." Araha sighed. "Fiiiine." She got up and walked by the door, passing by the mirror in her room. There was something missing there: "Ran, hair clip mode, please?" "I don't see the reason to, everyone likely already knows of your abilities." "C'mon, I look cute with a hair clip." Ran groaned then chuckled, forming into a hair clip and attaching as best she could to Araha's hair. - After a quick fix, she nodded and went back to the lobby in case something like that happened again. She saw Damaya around in the lobby beside her was a man she'd seen before, but didn't really know. "Hey, Damaya." She begun, "er... sorry for running off like that earlier, and for not finishing the food, and for not helping with the dishes! I'll make it up to you somehow!"

Cosmic Deconstruction: Eubeal vs Ioc (non canon battle)
Cyanic replied to Cyanic's topic in The Alleyverse
"I assume that means you want to battle me." Eubeal said, then shrugged. "My connection also just told me that you may, in fact, not be too powerful for this 'verse, and we can test that, but first," he shifted them both to a large dry expanse somewhere else on Roshar. "I'll grant you a free hit." He concluded. -

Ran was worried about Araha, but she was in good company. She was going to be alright. Ran took her default form of a woman bowed low toward the duo, a ChayShan-style salute to express her gratitude. "Thank you for the help. She'll just need some spheres with stormlight, one or two ought to do it." She realized that she was just repeating herself. "I... repeated myself. Apologies." She nodded and floated over beside Araha, watching over her.

Ran responded: "She will be alright. We'll need some stormlight, just a little though, too much and we'll have the same problem when it runs out." Finally they arrived at the room and Ran flitted through the keyhole, and with a bit of effort, unlocked the door, letting them in.

"Agree with tracking down. Solve problem permanent." Deras acknowledged.

Eubeal stepped inside the (false)Waystop, a 'man' in a nice suit and clean leather shoes with a completely chrome mask with no features, his hands were in his pockets and not an inch of flesh could be seen. His connection with the strange voice back. He saw his target: Ioc. The denizens of the Waystop looked at the newcomer. "Ioc, come with me please." The man gestured with his shoulder, his hands still hidden in his pockets. He didn't really need to wait for Ioc to respond, he just manipulated the scalar value of distance to zero —for him and Ioc— to a point outside the Waystop. "I represent a group called the Reality Slayers and we've detected some spikes in power here, they sent me to take care of it. Either leave this plane of existence or I'll be forced to use force. If you don't possess the means to exit a specific universe or multiverse, we have someone that can ferry you to a different universe more suited to your level of power. Keep the balance and all that." He nodded. "Questions?"

Deras looked at the man he was restraining who looked back at him. If he tried to do what Devaan just did, it was likely he'd just break the man's neck. So he did the next best thing, ...lugging the man over at Devaan and having him perform the knock-out, which he did. The man dropped, unconscious, "Likely need healing to prevent death from shock," Deras mentioned, referring to the ones who had broken limbs. "Who were they?" he asked.
-
"Before that." Deras said, he was still restraining the man, who seemed intent on fleeing when he saw his comrades running away. "What do with remaining ones?" Deras asked the groundsmaster then looked over to the other attackers, the ones whose limbs he'd broken, some fainted or tried to crawl away. "Prefer not to kill." His own leg was fully healed now, and in its proper place.
-
-
"Rgh" Deras growled, he would swear, but he didn't know of any curses right now. His healing was accelerated but not fast enough, though his mangled foot was mostly intact now, and his other, broken leg was in a place that he could reach it now. He grabbed hold of it and wrenched it back into place as best he could, then stood up. He could see that the man's arm had healed even after he greyed it out. It was likely the only way to truly incapacitate him was to rip the limbs off, that or kill him. Deras preferred to not do either. He prepared to face the man, his own sword dropping back into his hand. The man drew close and swung his sword which made Deras try to block the overhead swing, only for the man to retract at the last minute and swing from the side, toward Deras' left shoulder. The Lifeless was too slow and the sword struck its target, passing through Deras' flesh and muscle like it was nothing and greying them. Then it stopped. The strange sword had caught on something inside Deras, and because of its impractical shape, was snagged. The man was surprised. Deras could still feel his left arm and used the opportunity to grab the man's right arm and right shoulder. He also stomped on his ankle, breaking that. "YIELD NOW." The Lifeless yelled in his face. "Will tear off arm if not." Deras concluded, voice still raised.
-
-
The leap was fast and unpredictable enough that it hit the armored figure dead on, breaking off chunks of his armor and knocking him back a small ways. Deras didn't let up, the man still getting up. The Lifeless swung his sword again, the man reacted in time, but moved too slowly, Deras' blade landed and blew off more pieces from the armor. The man, still on the ground was having trouble moving now, Deras kicked him back down which cracked the ground and started hacking at the man's sword arm, more and more pieces of the armor flew off, before he could grey the man's arm out which made the man scream. Deras was about to work on his other arm when he felt another body slamming into him from the side. He was getting carried by the tackle, but braced himself against the new attacker and dug his bare feet into the ground, the land opened, but so did his feet, which sprayed blood as he stopped him and the opponent in their tracks. His feet were currently out of commission, but he still had his legs and one more hand. The attacker grabbed hold of his legs and prepared to break it, heaving. Deras couldn't do anything about that, so he let it happen, then when the bones of his leg no longer stopped him, he bent backward and grabbed at the attacker with his free arm. He managed to get the attacker's ankle and squeezed, breaking it much more quickly than they broke his leg, thankfully they weren't wearing any of that strange armor. The attacker screamed in pain, a female voice, before falling backward, Deras crawled to her other leg and crushed it to incapacitate her which made her scream even more. The Lifeless tried to stand back upward, but found that having his leg bent all the way to his back and his other foot mangled by the ground made it hard to stand. He fished in his trousers for the syringes and found that there were only two left, he must have dropped the others in the commotion. He injected it into himself and begun crawling to a better spot, he could already feel the regeneration process accelerating, which healed his broken arm first, and allowed him to crawl at a brisk pace.

Ran nodded. "Follow me. It's in 207-A." She said and lead them back in, in the form of a ribbon of light, and down the hallway toward her room.

Deras saw a figure in ornate looking armor land and summon a sword of its own, distinct in appearance to Deras' own, but Deras had a feeling that the sword was of the same kind as his. He wasn't well trained enough to jump in front of the figure, and block the sword, especially with his off-arm still regenerating. He had to get creative. Deras positioned his own sword, flat face resting against his shoulder, then he charged to intercept the figure, leading the target. Once he was close enough, he'd leap forward, highly-enhanced legs giving him a burst forward much faster than just running, and hopefully ramming straight into the armored figure.
