"I got it from a very strange man with angula... Wait! Did you just call me an eaves dropper! I'll have you know I've been privy to war meeting between Kings and Emperors! I've seen kingdoms rise and fall! I've seen creature's you've only dreamed of! You think the knowledge you speak of has not crossed my ears before!? Eighth glared at Louik, then like a storm passing, he suddenly calmed. "Sorry, um... That, that's not like me. That doesn't normally happen. You're right, information is owed, what would you like to know?" P.S. Eighth is also ridiculously old, like thousands of years old. More about him will be revealed later...

Eighth reached into his pocket pulling out an exquisite pen, "Here, use this."

Eighth glanced over at Louik, "Yes, he is real. Though I do not know if he still lives. No one has seen him for decades."

Eighth sighed looking at Carola, "Sadly, they're both right."

Eighth looked at Louik and raised an eyebrow, "How is it that you can give her information, while seemingly not telling her anything at the same time?"

Eighth nodded, "Carola, a strong name. My name is Eighth of Midnight. I've heard of him as well." Eighth said as he walked over to examine the map better. "Dangerous man, might I ask what you need of a Bloodmaker? Please tell me it's not for more of... this." Eighth said gesturing to Louik's Hemalurgic spikes.

"That is wise," Eighth said turning to Carola, "Might I ask your name, I don't do business with those I don't know."

Eighth looked at Louik, "Are you satisfied that there are no others listening?" Eighth looked over at the man in the corner, "I wonder if he's deaf."

Ha! This is only unavailable to those who lack the power to avail that which cannot be availed.

Oddly enough, that's actually one of my favorites.

"Oh, he's the only one I believe. Sift noticed him first, he's been digging his claws into my shoulder for a couple of minutes now, He doesn't like spy's" Eighth rubbed his shoulder where Sift had been standing, moving to Eighth's other shoulder moments before.

Like Ookla the Elephant said, the timeline will just shift and change as need be. We have a very fluid timeline here. Eighth smiled grimly, "sadly that is usually the case." Eighth turned to the figure in the darkest corner of the room, "You can come out now."

Eighth takes the book from Louik, then walks over and retrieves the bag from Rend, "We have an understanding then. This is not to be used for personal gain, the power it holds is too great and could destroy you in minuets. I hope you know what you are doing Louik."

Eighth sighed "This was supposed to be a private meeting, someone must have said too much." Eighth looked pointedly at Rend. Eighth turned to the newcomer "Depends on what you have to trade."

Yes. I figured that if we do it this way then we can talk outside of the world without creating too much confusion. So anything in colored text happens in world.

Eighth looked over at Riasa "You're early, I was hoping to get this over with before you got here. The information you seek was going to be given to me by this gentlemen." Eighth said gesturing toward Louik, "In exchange for a certain... item." Eighth tossed Rend a small bag of coins, "As promised, payment for the delivery of this sensitive cargo."

I would say probably. That could be a really interesting idea. Maybe, but because your mind is separate from your body de-ageing yourself would mean that your mind is not de-aging so you might not have a rush of emotions. Also @Ookla the Capricious I have made a decision regarding the leakage of time from objects, I will be updating the main post with that info so be looking there.

So depending on your strength you could theoretically affect someone who you weren't touching, as long as they were touching something that you were also touching, such as the ground. I would say that the more things you are trying to pass time through in order to reach your target the harder it is. So if you were trying to affect a book on a table, but you only touched the wall, the Time would have to flow through the wall into the ground then into the table then finally into the book. Something like this would be much harder than just affecting the book directly. There is also probably some kind of similarity kind of thing, the more similar the thing you're touching is to the thing you're trying to change, the easier it is.

Welcome to the shard! As far as cookies go, it really depends on who you get them from. The majority of people here tend to spike them. My cookies are fine, though you may get one with a few hundred breaths in it. I'm curious about the effects of consuming breaths via food.

All I can say is this, I "might" have been in Shadesmar at one point, and I "might" have handed out certain pastries.

Currently it's practice, like mistborn. Though that might change as the magic system develops.
