  1. Yeah he's been splitting up his RP posts to bilk more each round Stick
  2. It'd be funny if you never follow up on this post Could be they prioritized the masks that could catch the NK. Could be Doc didn't want to buy a good mask and feel pressured by the village to use it a certain way. Aman bothering to correct the rupee count for postmen tipping themselves kind of implies he actually did have 100, but he might have anyway.
  3. GAMBLING IS ILLEGAL ARREST HIM Just for Mistfallen
  4. Mistfallen I will return with harder puzzles
  5. The only fair way to decide is by asking Doc and Stick to solve a puzzle and exing whoever is slower F O S N O M G D O I I A G O N S M E M I C H I E F
  6. sorry to anyone who has ever been my e teammate We should do a blackout where you make your own role. Maybe the twist is that what you design is actually given to someone else *** Time to talk myself into voting for Doc based on D1B. (I'm voting now and committing to it, I'll write the justification next) D1B, with 3 hours to go, they ping literally everyone. It started subtle, then by the second post they fully committed to the bit. Their vote takes it from: To the same thing, but with Burnt at 3. They also throw some Shade at Divergent. Coco later wanders in to vote for Divergent. Burnt was safe by the time she checked in, so no need to self-pres. SE players love ties. Any chance they get to turn 3/3/2 into 3/3/3 is a good day at the office. I think Doc was fishing for someone to vote for Divergent, while positioned to pull Burnt out of the lead if they needed to. This is a strat I discussed in the QF78 elim doc, which Doc was in. Pinging everyone increased the likelihood of vote shifts (away from a Burnt lead), or at least would have provided earlier clarity about the outcome of bussing/not. Shoutout to Wonko and co. for making sure we exed Stick yesterday, because I think it's Burnt/Doc/Stick/Coco. Drake self-NKing would have been cooler, but sadly, the more straightforward explanation is usually true.
  7. Due to a combination of factors, I reckon This game gets rough for the elims once high level masks come into play; in retrospect, gunning for the fastest possible win was the right choice. My thinking was that we'd scanned the second elim (Hael), and were probably going to hit Coco and TS as the other exes. It works the other way if you say we've scanned Stick and were probably going to hit Doc next as their sense of concern. It's just scary how close we came to losing the loop yesterday then. Doc giving the conf vils control over who they scan is an evil move. As is their not dying. We'd have ultimately had an elim team with three members who aggressively accrued rupees, which matches the above average activity I theorized they'd have. It's just them bussing Burnt that is bugging me. I need to figure out what happened that Day, maybe it was accidental.
  8. Burnt I'd love to hear the dead doc's thoughts, but I'm looking at Hael, then Drake afterwards. I'm open to considering anyone we exed last loop, but honestly think we have better odds betting on this explanation.
  9. that's what King Elhokar said I also need RP money. Floating in the ether, Ouae softly hummed the song she'd heard playing on an ocarina. "Infused with lemon, not lime. An aromatic that rhymes In this limerick I sing. If crushed, here's the thing, It's clobberin' thyme."
  10. Hael solved my puzzle, and Stick didn't, so the choice is obvious. Stick gets a 50-rupee consolation prize, and can keep Ashbringer company
  11. Ah ha! I've caught you in a lie. As we all know, you can't have the same mask twice in a row. Burnt >: ( That makes sense to me. The only scenario where Doc does this is to distance from Hael. And resurrection is the only way for us to lose the round, if we've been right about Hael and one of the others being evil. The downside is we potentially don't block an NK. I'm too lazy to figure out how Stone!Burnt and/or a missed NK play out in terms of loop results. Burnt Hael
  12. Ghost Ouae hid her knife behind her back. "Uhh, I'm not with those guys." You gave me a rupee for delivering a message to myself, so something is wrong here. There's Ash's incomprehensible American accent again, left is the only right answer. If we're openly claiming things, does anyone want to own up to owning Scents?
  13. Thank you for doing all this before rollovet, it's much more convenient. Based on the VCs, you can sell me on a world where Coco/Hael/Burnt are teammates. L1D3: Hoid Slayer/Twin Storm ties Hael up with TUM late. Coco was publicly tracking votes and intentions, which makes them and Hael look paired. Doc was around EOD and didn't change their vanity vote. L2D1: Doc voted for Burnt, Hael and Coco voted for the CW. Assuming Doc can explain their rupee count, I'm prepared to believe them. Stick looks village here, so I'm left with evil Drake. Rereading L3D2, Drake pushed TwinStorm and Doc as the exes, and strongly asserted that Hael was village. Could be they read the writing on the wall with an upcoming Hael exe. The plan would have been for us to exe Stick and think they were the third elim, while really, Drake was. We would repeat the exes (saving Burnt for the tiebreaker) and lose. If the elim team assumed Hael would be exed without action, they were losing the loop either way, so NKing Drake was valid. Worst case scenario of us exing Hael after all is no different than the outcome of doing nothing/trying to change minds without changing the circumstances. @Mistfallen Soldier don't you get rupees for unique recipients, not unique senders?
  14. Ooh, spicy plot twist! Can confirm that Doc PMed TUM and Wahr. I'm very confused why Hael bothered relaying the info about Stick. I didn't think they'd do that in a must-win cycle. Deepwolfing can only take you so far when two teammates are outed. So Burnt/Stick/Hael/(Not Doc, living pool player, could be Coco or TS) is the team. So we block Mistfallen to guarantee the loop win.
  15. I forgot about that, never mind, it was a good signal. Did anyone buy the Captain's Hat L1? I thought we assumed no one did, but didn't have verification. Mistfallen, understood.
  16. He's a nice guy, so we overlook his incomprehensible accent. There was probably an elim in the L1 dead doc, so Ash isn't being super helpful. Nor is including Doc, who is technically a suspect. I guess that's his prerogative. If there's a sting operation going on, I'm glad you're doing it, but I will be doing my own secret missions so I don't feel left out. Mistfallen, 15 has 4.
  17. E!Coco saying that pinch hitters are more likely to be evil when two of their teammates are PHs is wild behaviour I'll defer to the majority Stick Hael I'd still like to hear from Ashbringer, if Hael can be trusted
  18. Ouae will give Araris a cookie for thag thought. Really it comes down to whether you trust Doc isn't evil. They did aggressively vote for Burnt L2. E!Doc replaces E!Coco, and necessitates voting them or Stick instead of voting v!Hael today. A minor argument for E!Coco is that they were the wealthier of Stick and them, so in an E/E matchup, it made sense for Burnt to vote Stick to improve the Stone plan odds. I imagine that conversation sparked the Stone idea. The better play, if it was an e/v vote L2D3, would be to vote off the villager, then to NK Mistfallen or a random villager. Either you prioritize the ratio or prioritize IKYK. It would have avoided many of their later issues that derailed the plan, in terms of target and Ash being in contention.
  19. We're okay assuming they had Scents, right? So the only risk is a Bremen block. I had Bremen, and your theory relies on me being evil. Therefore, no risk. I sent Drake and Stick a crossword PM D1. If you solve the downs and rearrange the order of the across answers, it basically says I'm the postman. Hael correctly stated most of the clues. Cowl was publicly revealed through thread conversation, but Pat, It, and School are things he couldn't have known about without Drake telling him.
  20. If I don't explode us and an elim is exed, nothing changes. The elims just need to make an NK to win the loop, which they were comfortable doing anyway. Next round, you get to exe me, maybe also Araris if I claim to have tried and failed. And there's one less elim in the suspect pool, plus there intrinsic value of bussing is a benefit. They'd probably NK a teammate N3B if v!Coco was exed for the same benefits. If E!Coco, they lose the exe either way. In retrospect, American sports trivia was a bad topic to base two of the clues on. This is accurate. I'm convinced Hael is in communication with Drake. Hael and Drake are not e/e unless something crazy is happening. Let's assume we can trust Drake. Also assume that Drake would be upset if E!Hael was misquoting him. If Drake is being misrepresented, the dead doc should stop cooperating with this exercise. They may have been careless with information already and made this moot, but if we continue to get information from the dead doc, that means they trust Hael, so we should trust Hael. Now suppose the team is Archer/CH!Hael. The dead doc certainly won't participate in verification exercises. So if Ashbringer is cooperative, it's likely not a ruse.
  21. That's a clever solution. You got a custom one though. The first part is a Sudoku puzzle. * There's a way to cheese this with dead Ashbringer's cooperation. We just need him to signal Hael private info if he trusts Drake.
  22. Gooood morning. I love how we all disregarded the possibility of E!DG!Drake DGG. I have a village read on him, but we should inspect that option too. 2 dead elims already: This sets up L4 better for them by confusing us about how we got there. But we probably exe Burnt, Hael, one of the two dead elims already, and still win. 1 dead elim, e!Hael: This prevents us from killing the 2nd elim. But E!Drake is the second, so it's a set up for next round. That's high risk because there's more opportunities to be scanned. 0 dead elims: You don't risk losing when you win either way. Conclusion: Drake is village, carry on. @DrakeMarshall can you share any more description? TJ, for D3B, it was pretty obvious that I was going to cause the explosion. I offered to be exed if I didn't. Adding an elim to the deadpool helps the ratios, because 4e:2v would have been more difficult to hide in. Stick vanity voting MF there also makes sense if they wanted to die.
  23. I told Hael I was the postman today, so grain of salt, pending Drake confirmation. I was waiting for the pfp change and am not disappointed
  24. We discussed the cowl answer publicly, what were some other topics? I unfortunately sent Drake and Stick the same message, so opsec is probably broken. I am the postman. Proof: Doc PMed the conf vils yesterday, I sent some messages, and no one else sent anything. (Doc, there's an OP to a thread in the Alleyverse subforum called Death of Mac that contains the password you need.) I believe Hael because the only other way to get the info is from the accused Stick. But we've unfortunately set up a Archer/Hael v Stick showdown. Stick
