I suppose that makes sense. Now that I think about it, it actually might be a thing like “the frost crystallization happens when you level up” but since Kaladin hadn’t said the first Ideal yet, he was probably just “kind of” leveling it up, just like summoning a dead Shardblade “kind of” brings it back to life. Did that make sense? I’m not sure that I understood what I said either.

Ok, so I’m not sure if this has been asked before, but what happened to frost crystallizing around people when they use a bunch of Surgebinding? It happened a lot during The Way of Kings, but it no longer seems to happen during Words of Radiance. Is this change explained somewhere?

Once you get to Words of Radiance, start paying attention to the Chapter titles. I almost completely ignored them, and then when I noticed some of them, it blew my mind. Also, welcome to the Shard!

Honestly, I’d choose Stormlight 4-10, because then we could have The Lost Metal, Era 3, the Threnody Novel, the Novel about the third tontinent on Sel, and Dragonsteel all so much sooner. I mean, I hate Moash for messing up everything on Roshar, but I’d rather have more Cosmere. In other words, it’s Roshar vs. the entire Cosmere. I choose Cosmere.

I saw this thread, and remembered this post in Sanderson memes: Aside from that, I think it’s safe to say that Odium isn’t a “good guy.” However, because he hasn’t just ended most of the life on Roshar, like happened with Ashyn, he might still have some good in him.

That makes me think of the Phineas and Ferb Star Wars lightsabers. Or of these.

Don’t forget the Purelake’s magic fish! I remember Ishikk saying something about possibly being able to get a fish (a stumpy cort) that could find Hoid? Also, the kolgril “could sometimes let you see when friends were going to visit by letting you read the shapes of the clouds” which probably has nothing to do with the shapes of clouds, I think it just lets you see the future a little bit. These two kinds of fish actually seem somewhat powerful, so we shouldn’t just ignore them!
