He became a scientist to help people, if AM just focussed on improving education and things like that he'd be all for him but he considers AM to be one step away from a Eugenicist, which he's definitely against.
-
PP is not a huge fan of AM either, I don't expect this alliance will last too long

Jeff watched silently as the three introduced themselves, grinning in what he hoped was a menacing way when Cricket delivered her threat. Momentum Epics? Hmm, that could definitely be useful, very combative, and the museum's already got the advantage of the high ground, they can bombard the entire city from up there, and any flying Epics could be kept at bay too. His mind was instantly lost in strategies and he almost didn't hear the other Epic introduce himself, or Aldo's question. "Sorry? The headquarters? Oh yes, the museum! Yes, well we'd best be getting off then, my dear?" He offered a hand to Marigold who took it, rising gracefully from her seat, the tea set and pastries had all vanished back into wherever she'd secreted them. "To the flying museum of dinosaurs!" He said, a sarcastic smile on his face, one hand escorting his wife while in the other he juggled a small pebble.

Good idea, but nope, and nope. Arrival in a city.

Mrs. Voidus and I will be out for the next day or so but I've done a quick post from PP. Nice work with the twins Kobold, we're both really liking them.
-
Jeff stood up when he heard the trio approaching, they'd paused briefly at the door, giving him enough time to spin his shadows into razor sharp tendrils which he held at the ready, placing himself protectively between Marigold and the doorway. "Backtrack and friends are in the house!" One of them bellowed as they made their way into the room. One man and what seemed to be identical twins, or otherwise an illusionist who liked to make duplicates. They'd yelled a greeting, which was comforting, most Epics looking for a fight didn't greet each other, they just started destroying things. "How did you find us here?" Jeff asked as the trio entered the room. "Who are you working for?" He looked back to check on Marigold, who was still seated, seeming completely unconcerned with the newcomers, still calmly sipping her tea. What the? He looked back to the newcomers and then he saw them, just above them four spiders were perched silently. Well, that really could come in handy.

Simon would resent Slaughterhouse's powers too, he likes to be the only person controlling peoples bodies so they'd definitely have a conflict at some point.
-
Yeah, he's already giving me nightmares and I made him. That would be a really interesting fight scene.
-
Well let's just say that upon receiving his powers the first thing Simon did was play a game of 'Simon says' with his family. There were no survivors. I was going to use Synesthesia, which I still might but I also want to introduce her into Oregon at some point, she's not particularly terrifying, at least not on the same level as the others in Calamityville.

Velth's mood brightened immediately upon seeing the treasures that Duke had brought. The wine was another Surille bottle and Sullen immediately asked to share some. Velth sighed. "Do you know how much these cost Sullen? This isn't the kind of tavern Ale you swill while sitting around the fire, this is a Surille! This is one of the finest wines in the entire world! Then again, I do have a shipment coming when I return to Kvatch so I suppose we can indulge a little." Velth opened the bottle and procured several glasses from his pack. He'd never admit it, but he was secretly glad to get the chance to open it so soon, he wouldn't have done it himself lest he appear uncouth, but if Sullen suggested it... "Now let's see about this book, hmm... I've not even heard of the author, this is an obscure work indeed.... Hmm, seems to subscribe to the Altmer theory on the Daedra of Coldharbor... most interesting." Velth trailed off, already lost in the book, with a glass of Surille in hand. Now this, this is what life should be. He thought.

Depending on what kind of scale we want CalamityVille to be I might put both of them in But yeah I've been working on Simon for a while, he's got a long backstory and MO in my head already, so since we've already all agreed we're not going to be sleeping anyway I definitely want to use him.
-
I've also decided on my character for the Haloween RP: Simon: Can control the actions of anyone near him, must deliver his commands verbally and his target has to be able to hear the command.
-
I was going to talk to you about having him fight Lightwards at some point, with all the pushing around that Funtimes has been up to he definitely needs something to vent on, and I thought and upstart rival necromancer might be just the thing.
-
Thanks, no they won't all get POVs, they're just a convenient source of conflict for minor skirmishes where someone just wants to kill an Epic. Yeah I started adding to the list again, Stitch was one of the more recent ideas I had, he'll be trying to make zombies of his own by stitching all over corpses and then manipulating the thread.
-
No more than Funtimes teleporting in and turning their clothes into acid, or Penumbra flying past and spearing them in their eye, or Saccharine teleporting some cyanide directly into their blood, his power lets him incapacitate people and then he can kill them, plenty of other people just have powers that can kill people, his is just a middle ground.
-
He's limited in the number he can take out at a time though, Lightwards could swamp him in Zombies and he'd be pretty easily dealt with, and given how PP's personalities work he'd have to put each of them to sleep individually, CM would just negate him straight away, and Altermind could probably still use illusions while asleep since it's mentally based, I don't think he's a major threat to any of the factions by himself, he's up there with the other High Epics but I wouldn't say that he's broken.
-
I'm working on the group of Epics that Zip and Refill will recruit so far I'm thinking:
-
Nice posts Fatebreaker, although given that 'Prime invincibility' is a term that David invented it's unlikely that anyone else would use it in world.
-
Chi's not really powerful enough for SS to leave Penumbra for, he'd definitely like to work with him, but he's more interested in being on the winning team.
-
I'm thinking that once Soulswitch joins up with the empire that he'll switch to being Lightwards' sycophant, PP isn't ambitious enough for him.
-
Did you want me to write a scene from the momentum twins Kobold or are you just waiting for the story to progress a bit before writing Backtrack?
-
Fair enough, but then when we're dealing with Funtimes what makes sense rarely makes sense I really need to get on top of all of those don't I? The only pony I've made is SoulSwitch's so far.
-
Depends on if you want to do the reveal I'd say.
-
Those are awesome, I felt like it was a game of spot the difference for a second
