MV's actually more suited, Impact would just squish them If he interrupted and asked them they'd probably go, they're not entirely comfortable in present company, and Backtrack's the least scary of all the new Epics.

How is Backtrack planning on getting down?

From what I could tell from the book creating artificial Epics would require genetic engineering so it's unlikely to be reproducable even if they knew how and they'd only create infant Epics. Essentially it depends how Upgrades powers actually work but I do think they could reproduce it given enough time, my opinion when I wrote Upgrade was that when he produces his what I like to call 'Epic radiation' (The 'radiation' that produces the less physical effects and allows for mental control) it takes on the properties of things around it, combining it with another Epic's would enhance their strength because it's as though two Epics were doing what they were trying to do. But that's just my metaphysics take on it I wouldn't mind seeing NH meet the twins, and combined they could probably handle themselves alright against him.

I'm trying to figure out what the twins' reaction should be, on the one hand they're quite new and haven't used their powers on too large a scale so the corruption hasn't fully set in yet, on the other they don't like it when people stand up to them, but they're more likely to say, push your car down a hill and steal some alcohol than straight up murder you.

The threat made something within him seethe, straining to be released and teach Lightwards some respect. He slammed the voice away, the rage subsided and he was in control again. Lightwards gave a small chuckle, completely oblivious to how close he'd come to being attacked. Purple Phoenix did his best to smile back and sketched a much smaller bow before leaving his presence. Insufferable man, why they leave him in charge I'll never know. Jeff fumed as he departed. Now, what to do next? He scouted the museum quickly to find Marigold striking up a conversation with Funtimes and Aldo leading traveler away by himself. I hope he'll be alright, I'll need to come up with something more showy than that force field for him. We never did figure out how teleportation worked but maybe something else in theme? They could have been Epics but something in their manner wasn't quite right, you couldn't always tell but there was something about these two... Well this can't end well.

I was actually planning of him escaping the ruins as a mouse planning to find Steelheart and then getting stepped on by fleeing vanillas I'm hoping PP will escape, given what his weakness is unless someone knows it it's unlikely to come into play, and the only people who could know are him and possibly Saccharine, neither of whom particularly want to kill him Even trapping doesn't really work on resurrection Epics.

If it's a character that's someone else's I'd say ask permission to kill them, otherwise you can always invent your own and kill them The only characters I've come up with so far that I'll control directly are Refill, Zip and Stitch I think so you can meet and kill any of the others.

MV walked into the museum with a touch of awe, groaning inwardly as Backtrack shouted out his now traditional greeting to the museum. She considered trying to kick him again but settled for an imperious sniff and strode off with Impact. "Sis, check out these plants!" She called, forgetting again to call her sister by her new name. "How are they growing? This is a stone floor." Impact said coming closer and inspecting the fronds of a nearby plant. "Uh... Epics" MV said, sometimes it was hard to adjust to a post-calamity world sometimes, getting used to being an Epic was even harder. They continued through the forest until they caught sight of a goth next to a hippie talking with one of the Epics they'd arrived with, though the latter quickly left followed by icy stares. MV nudged her sister and together they walked up to the two girls. "Hiya! I'm MV, this is Impact, we have momentum abilities. What can you guys do?" MV had once tried to guess Epics powers by their names and costumes but some of them just made no sense, she'd learned to just ask, and hope that they didn't provide any first hand demonstrations.

Names seem to be what I have the most difficulty with, sometimes I think of a name then design powers around it, which is what I did with Flowerface, whom I'd love to try to introduce to anyone and maintain any semblance of dignity, but mostly I think of powers then struggle to name them. And so: Waffle-fist Passive ability: Calorie storage, he is incapable of gaining weight no matter how many waffles he eats, these calories are instead stored in the form of pure energy which he can use to fuel his primary ability. Primary ability: Creates a waffleonium field around both hands, turning anything within that field into waffles, he can control the properties of the waffles to a certain extent, making boiling pools of liquid waffle drip from his hand or providing freezing waffles with no toppings to those he doesn't like, while giving himself the perfectly cooked waffles with bacon and maple syrup that he eats almost constantly.

Well this should take care of that at least. He lowered his voice until only Lightwards could hear. "But more important even that those are what I can offer you now that I have found my wife again. After Calamity we were researchers studying Epics, replicating their abilities with technology, with your assistance we could ply that trade once more, outfit your Empire with the greatest technology in the world, create a truly eternal empire." Refill greeted those who came up to him after his speech and was soon greeted by a pair calling themselves Dodgeball and Growthspurt, he tried to get a word in but the teenaged Dodgeball just kept talking and talking, breaking only for a brief high five with his companion and ending with a suggestion that they meet an Epic in a zoo. "An excellent idea" Refill said, finally butting in "I've heard of Chimera myself, he would be a fine companion for our alliance. For now we're going to divide our efforts in three ways, research, recruitment and offensives. We need everyone to provide as accurate a summary of their abilities as they can, then our research teams will brainstorm how best to put those powers to use, who to put on a team with whom to ensure that we make the most of our abilities. Some interesting bacckstory: Latermind's first use of his power was to think of the name Altermind 3 seconds before Altermind announced it and still bears him a grudge for stealing it.
