There's a few factors preventing this, firstly that most of the MEE don't know the details of the attacks so it wouldn't be difficult to downplay what a disaster they are. Secondly given the size of the MEE these attacks really only amount to skirmishes, they still have more than enough Epics left to pose a threat if they attacked en masse. (Although given that they basically just exist to be slaughtered they won't be doing that) Thirdly would be the effect of Calamity on them, I think they'd all believe that the ones who died were just the weakest and least useful of them and that the survivors are much stronger/less likely to be slaughtered. So while a few might defect (Neverthere for instance) most will remain and be handy should anyone want a fight/massacre.

What else is a party for?

My only objection to Chaos would be that it's been explicitly mentioned that Mitosis' power is unique to him, while it would be possible for a new or not particularly well known Epic to have it, a warlord who frequently murders other Epics would be a bit obvious to miss. That said this is just an RP so it's not a massive deal.

What would you do with a Shardblade? (WoR spoilers)

Never summon it for fear of accidentally bisecting an atom and destroying the city through accidental fission. -
Which kind of makes it even more sketchy, if he already accepted the MAG version of Nicrosil as canonical he wouldn't keep RAFOing questions about it.

Just so everyone knows, although I haven't posted bios for or even named most of them I have a good hundred or so Epic profiles for the MEE which are just based around some of the more common powers (Illusionists, fire Epics and so on) with some pretty severe limitations and there'll probably be a couple of those in each of the attacks so feel free to mention offhandedly killing a few.

Synesthesia gathered her guards, two burly vanillas she'd recruited when she entered Portland the previous year along with Disrupt, her guards already knew the procedure for this trick and had already grabbed onto one of her shoulders, she turned to her fellow Epic. "Once I put up the screen you won't be able to see or hear, hold onto one of my arms and I'll lead you. Once the guards are within range I can put the field up around them instead but until then you'll be completely deaf and blind. According to Refill our powers have similar ranges?" Disrupt nodded. "About 100 metres" He said "I can make people clumsy from as far as a mile away but they'll notice that something's up pretty quickly." Dodgeball had already continued along alone, his powers were enough to shield him from the guards. Synesthesia concentrated briefly, a shroud of pure darkness spreading from her, emitting a strange wailing noise as it swallowed more and more of the air around her. It swallowed her three companions, and three hands stiffened on her shoulder as their owners lost all sight. A small cone of air in front of Synesthesia's eyes was all that retained its light, allowing her to see as she lead her three companions towards the perimeter of Thought Town. One of the more perceptive guards noticed the cloud of darkness approaching them and pointed it out to his companions, they fired a few shots into it but all flew wide of Synesthesia, who'd deliberately created the shroud of darkness larger than was necessary specifically for this eventuality. A few other shots were fired towards her left, presumably towards Dodgeball, although none seemed to even slow the Epic down as he dodged them all with ease. Synesthesia extended a tendril of power out as far as she could reach, creating a tendril of darkness which reached between her and the guards, who all hastily backed away, perhaps fearing that Nightwielder himself had descended upon them. Synesthesia pulled out a pistol, she could see neither the weapon nor her hand as she aimed but she trusted to her sense of where her hand was, she fired off several silent shots, the only hints of the firing were some brief flashes of green which pierced through the darkness. Most of the shots missed the guards, trying to hit something at this distance with a pistol was difficult enough when you could see the weapon, but one shot caught a guard in the hip, he fell with a cry. One of the other guards reached for a radio but fumbled with it as he tried to contact someone. Disrupt. Syesthesia thought. He must have freaked and risked using it. Synesthesia could hardly blame the man, the first few times she'd tried this before she'd thought to leave herself with eye holes had been terrifying, a world with no sight, no sound, just the thudding of your own heart in your chest, never knowing what was happening around you, just having to trust... Finally reaching the limits of her range Synesthesia dispersed the cloud of darkness, forming globes of black around the eyes of the ThoughtTown soldiers instead, shots immediately range out as her two bodyguards and Disrupt all took aim and fired, instantly felling three more guards, while Disrupt seemed to put his powers to work, causing people to trip, fumble and collapse as muscles refused to correctly obey the orders their brains were sending. Shouts in the distance signaled the imminent arrival of reinforcements.

Epic name: The Glut Primary power: Choco-location, knows the precise location of all chocolate within the same solar system as him. Secondary power: Pure energy! - Can gain different powers by eating different types of chocolate, dark chocolate increases his healing factor, white chocolate causes him to become intangible, milk chocolate increases his strength.

Let's all take a moment to thank the MEE for playing the role of Portlands Mooks.

Another concern would be the construction of the fabrial, all known Soulcasters are fashoned as a glove, having 25 enormous gemhearts attached to your hand is not exactly ideal for ease of use.

Well I think I'll have to cede the victory to Fatebreaker, who wins the choice of scene for our party as well as first dibs on the next lot of... ingredients we receive.

I would be an Artifabrian, making useful things for other people to use, failing that I'd likely go with Windrunning because it is just awesome.

I nearly got trampled by a roo while on school camp in the outback, middle of the night pitch black and you just hear a steady thumping coming towards you, rather terrifying.

I think Nathan and all the other servers at the casino would have breathed a sigh of relief when Intervention walked through the door, no matter how many other Epics would use their powers for horrible things at least they'd be smashed by the end of the night.

Only when you don't know how to cook them They're way less of a problem than you'd think, I'd be way more worried in the US, here be it a drought, flood, snake or spider at least you can see it coming. I'm not sure how I'd cope knowing that at any moment the earth could decide to shift a few metres and crush my house.

Publish it? Ah Minecraft, I'd join you but then I'd wake up on Thursday wondering what the heck happened over the last week Woo Australia! XD What kind of philosophy? Just basic argumentation or a specific type? I've just been sitting at home bored mostly, trying to get Dragon Age Inquisition to work on something and mentally composing violent emails to Bioware.
