Laurelai gave Lita a sly smile and picked another cookie for herself. "Benefit of getting stabbed a bunch of times." She said. "Best cookies in the Alleyverse. Worth it even without the extra abilities if you ask me." Finishing up the cookie, she looked over Kumiko and Whisper in response to KanMien's plan. They were certainly the most likely to be able to not be noticed spying, both could completely change how they looked after all. If they were spotted they'd be in a lot of trouble quickly, but a Kandra and a Knight Radiant stood a lot better of a chance of surviving than she would. "It would seem to be the best distribution." She said, nodding to them. "Do you two think you'd be okay? We have no idea what might come out of there after all." Whisper quickly nodded, the spike spinning in her hands, though the conjoiner fabrial seemed to be switched off for the moment so Laurelai simply watched the spike itself to determine the message. Will be fine, can get away if need to. Whisper then looked curiously over at Kumiko.

I think I might make the basic level spells public this time yeah, first time around I kept specifics hidden so people would have to discover what skills did but given that I'm hoping for mor player-driven world building and mechanics this time I'll make the starting points more easily available. But first up is sleeping time because I'm going to need to hunt around for those spell lists

Just for everyone else don't fret too much about the numbers, if anyone ever wants to do a status check I can provide them but we're going for something a bit more freeform now so specifics like that are going to be less relevant. No class system but guilds are close. And just a quick terminology reminder: Guild - In-game organization of Players and NPCs, usually themed around a profession. (Mages, Knights, Assassins, etc.) Clan - Player-run large organization of Player Characters. Party - Small gathering of Player Characters who share experience and generally quest together.

Happy for people to have multiple characters if they think they can handle it. Means there'll probably be a couple of parties forming instead of just the one but that might work well. And yeah fine with using Storm from a restart.

The night passed peacefully and uneventfully, the sky slowly began to lighten though a thick blanket of clouds still blocked much of the sunlight, filtering through the mists which began to disperse as the air continued to warm. The surroundings slowly became more visible, the collapsed buildings and tower consumed much of the immediate area and seemed to have crushed something underneath, surrounding it appeared to be a pine forest, with a number of crushed and shattered trees lying immediately nearby, one direction of forest seemed to be a little thinner and the edges of it were faintly visible. (The direction that Lisa ran in last night)

Yeah the Immortality is standard, but the other two will need to be worked towards, drain touch and mind control stuff would both be under the dark magic tree which isn't available at lvl 1. Stagger effects are available via either chanting magic or runic magic but they're single-target to start with, not AoE. And since it's two characters they could each have their own set of skills though I'd suggest whoever plays the other half chooses their own abilities.

I'm thinking of going with a full restart this time just to save having to determine what people would/wouldn't know from previous runs we didn't really get that far into any of the previous attempts so I don't think it'll be too detrimental.

But I like upvoting people for awesome RP I'm happy to go with whatever people think is easiest, PM seems to be the prevailing opinion at the moment but chime in if you disagree.

Is the old thread, not sure if we should make a new one this time though. Exactly duplicating some of the abilities are going to be difficult, drain touch spells exist, as do charm/domination and knockback effects, elven rage would be hard to duplicate though. Speed build dual wielding might be able to do something similar to an extent.

KanMien was right, there would be an element of risk in trying to infiltrate any of the great guilds, but that risk came with an easy way to gain information. The precursors would certainly be easier to spy on but also less likely to have any useful intelligence or insight into the matter. The last option would be to try to infiltrate PlasmaCore directly to see what they could learn, but that would be the most dangerous in all likelihood, given what she'd already seen. "There is the possibility of formally approaching one of the other guilds I suppose." Laurelai mentioned. "We don't have to acquire all of our information covertly after all." She didn't particularly like the idea of approaching any of the other guilds like that, most of them held some negative preconceptions of the DA which could lead to some issues, but given that TUBA at least had proactively approached seeking an alliance they could probably be trusted to some degree, and their agreement of nonaggression meant that at least they wouldn't be attacked on sight. "Or we could start with the precursors to gain a little information then use that as a foothold, assess the situation and decide our next step from there." She took another small, measured sip of port from her glass.

Given that it's based on a game infinite resurrection is in actually Wraith racial abilities: Dark aligned, (passive) greatly increased physical resistance, (passive) greatly decreased endurance, (passive) immune to dark damage, (passive) decreased resistance to light damage, (passive) decreased strength, (passive) start with magic skill. If you were going for the Talion/Celembrimbor build it'd probably be more based on skills than anything. Customization could be fairly expansive so yeah it's possible. Most generally look vaguely humanoid in shape or a couple would be just a column of water but a wave would be possible. And elementals are based off of the four basic elements: Water, air, fire, earth. Yeah I'll do starting equipment again.

Points: 50 (M) + 105 (S) - 20 (W) = 135 Should be good, approved. Looks fine, approved. I think this one will come out just about at 150 all up, Genius Intelligence, Expert Scholar, -40 points for the deafness and bane. Approved.

Like Illuminati, but with Lith. Socializing? Sounds hard. *Crawls back into a cave to max out antisocial levels* But glad to have such a revival of interest.

I also enjoy writing support characters if needed, but that being said in the interests of keeping to a manageable level of commitment I'll cede to Lith this time if ES is okay with it. Also I'm both enthused and a little scared by how quickly Lith summoned an army of RPers to revive this #Lithilatti
