  1. There's not reason she couldn't but I don't know how much petrol they need. If they did it'd likely just be one massive tree somewhere sprouting large tanks.
  2. Welcome to the 17th Shard, home of cookie purveyors, Hemalurgists, lurkers of Dark Alleys and also some other people.
  3. Technically both It's power limitation but he'd also probably still just use it to kill people even if he could heal or enhance others.
  4. No, unfortunately his fleshwarping abilities for anyone but himself are limited to killing things.
  5. Bioterror thought the Epic was attacking him before he realized he'd just thrown a zucchini into the air. Well there's definitely something wrong with this one, with any luck I won't have to work with him. He watched, confused, as the zucchini began to multiply, soon hundreds of Zucchini were falling down around him, creating a massive pile that threatened to bury him. Either he has some bizarrely specific zucchini related abilities or he is completely insane. He directed his powers inwards, strengthening his muscles and bones so the mountain of vegetables didn't crush him as he clawed his way out. "The Metal should be here in a moment. You'll have your wish." "Well I hope he's less sparking insane." Bioterror muttered as he finally climbed out of zucchini mountain. Lockvault shifted himself back onto the street, legs absorbing the slight shock from his landing. He walked over to the trunk as a beam of golden light surrounded it. "Sweet." He said as he opened it and found a new weapon "Upgrade. I wonder if there's any weapons modding? Well I'll find out later I guess." Fast travelling back up to Lockvault he showed off the newly found weapon. He'd decided to hold onto the old weapon for now too, if they were setting up a base he could keep it stored there and then if he died and lost his new weapon at least he wasn't back to square one. Placing his hand on the ground, the Adventurer closed his eyes briefly as he concentrated on his minimap, searching for somewhere large enough that he could use as a base with Lockvault. He found the sewer tunnels he'd used easily enough but that wasn't exactly a fitting place for a base. Perhaps there was an area off to one side? Somewhere for lower levels to start out? A moment later his eyes burst open as he found the perfect place. "Found it." He exclaimed, reaching a hand out to grab Lockvaults shoulder he shifted them both down and to the side. They appeared again in a bricked off room to one side of the sewers, it was warm, dry and large enough for two people to stay there comfortably. He mentally marked the location so he could fast travel there more easily in future. "So." The Adventurer said, turning to Lockvault after he'd examined their surrounding "What do you think?"
  6. Bioduplication: She can 'plant' any object and cause a crop to grow from it with more of the object attached as a kind of fruit. Plant manipulation: She can manipulate nearby plant life, typically to use weapons that she's planted. Synthesis: She has an increased healing factor dependent upon sunlight levels, at noon on a very clear day she can heal from any wound that's not immediately fatal in a few seconds, at night she can only heal a couple of times faster than a normal person. Well I think Edge has good reasons for his characters to work for Lucentia and Bioterror really needs other Epics to wield power, basically all he does is kill people which is not terrifically useful if you end up killing all the people you want to serve you. He could conceivably defect to someone else's side but they'd have to have a pretty overwhelming advantage to convince him. I don't think Mary has much of a hold over any of the stronger Epics like the Metal or Deathgale since they have PIs, Bioterror could just purge his blood of hers if he wanted to since he's a fleshwarper.
  7. Thanks everyone for the input on Cornucopia, I think I'll go for a mix of a couple ideas so that she can grow one plant really quickly while she's focusing on it but the plant gets so saturated with her power that she then can't use any more on it and so can't replant the 'fruit' it bears to keep growing plants. (Thanks for that limitation idea Edge)
  8. Bioterror can affect Epics it just takes longer, with Vanillas he can pretty much kill every cell in their body instantly, with Epics it takes about 10 minutes before permanent damage starts to occur.
  9. Fortuity: See guys? I'm totally fine. I'm really completely over what happened with... *Shudders* Nightwielder: That might be more convincing if every fourth line of what you've written so far wasn't a plea for Lucentia to kill Funtimes. Steelheart: Or if you hadn't screamed for half an hour when we showed you a picture and you saw a part of her was sparkling from diamonds. Fortuity: (Sobbing) Where did you go mr. Hamster? Where did you go!? Nightwielder: Here he goes again, he's worse than Conflux when he gets like this. Conflux: Does that mean you'll tie him up instead now? Steelheart: No.
  10. I wondered that too, my thoughts were it went something like: Steelheart: Another correspondence from Lucentia? What's she whining about this time? Great some server from one of my casinos got snarky with her and she feels that needs my personal attention. Why can't she just kill the idiot and be done with it? Nightwielder: Because that's just the way she is. Steelheart: Don't I know it. Sometimes I just want to raze her entire city to the ground. Nightwielder: You know what would be hillarious? You should send her a lewd poem, it would drive her insane. You know what she's always like. But then if she complains we have a reason to attack their city, win-win. Conflux: Hey guys, could someone untie me please? Steelheart: Shut up Conflux. That's an excellent idea Nightwielder! Quickly! Call Fortuity in, I'll need some help with the wording. Nightwielder: He's still moaning about his car and jumping every time he sees glitter. Steelheart: Fine, find someone else suitably bawdy, I want this sent as soon as possible!
  11. Yeah pretty much any of them could destroy Astoria by themselves but I meant more that say Steelheart sent a lewd poem to Lucentia so she declared war on Newcago. The entire city would be destroyed about 60 seconds after she sent out the orders. Works for me, probably not the Metal as well though, that might be a bit of overkill.
  12. Yeah I realized that between Bloody Mary and Brightdeath they can now create portals to pretty much anywhere even if no one else with Bloody Mary's blood is there Brightdeath can just port there. So now Bloody Mary and Brightdeath can open a portal to pretty much anywhere instantly, the Metal, Bioterror and Deathgale can kill everyone in that place in about 3 seconds and pin down any Epics with a PI to take back with them and then head back home. Astoria could completely destroy any city in about a minute.
  13. What would people think is a reasonable length of time for Cornucopia's plants to grow? I could just keep it as a supportive really long term thing but it does seem a bit unlikely that Calamity would go handing out a power like that so I feel like it would be better if it was a lot faster but then she can essentially have an infinite supply of anything so that'd overpower her a bit. Thoughts?
  14. Much like creating Epics if you're going to eat one chocolate you might as well eat a dozen.

  15. Well as you say given the Metal, Deathgale and Bloody Mary any kind of assault is pretty doomed to failure, you'd need a large-scale teleporter to even be able to escape, if Bioterror does join up that's only going to make things worse. It would be possible to wage war but you'd need a lot of really OP Epics to make it possible.
  16. Well the Adventurer's not really an invader type and Bioterror wants to join up so it's not likely that my characters would.
  17. Well essentially it's just your brain overdosing on Serotonin, which is potentially one of the ways Euphoria's powers could work so I thought it might be something to look into for potential effects of her using her powers at maximum level on someone as a form of combat. I'd probably say yes it is, not only is that a very specific region to stop moving it would also probably stop blood flow and potentially breathing so whoever she did it to would die.
  18. Just a thought, what if David is now a Dawnslight Epic, which is to say that he has powers but they don't come from Calamity, which might allow him to still be gifted powers from regular Calamity Epics like Prof but still have his own powerset, potentially even one that he can gift to Calamity Epics like Firefight.
  19. Oh Comatose something I remembered the other day while thinking about potential combat applications for Euphoria is a condition called Serotonin Syndrome or Serotonin Toxicity, it was a potential side effect of a combination of meds I was on a while ago before they were switched, but in really severe cases it can cause potentially fatal complication. Anyway something I thought might be interesting if she ever used her powers combatively.
  20. I'd miss our awesome Epic Physics conversations too much to do that, even at the cost of hastening Nighthounds death I wouldn't want to kill you Just as long as you kill him eventually. I'm tempted at this point to say that I love you guys but I don't want to be a cliched guy on meds so instead. I would not murder you guys.
  21. Actually I was thinking more someone murdering her then stealing her account But that works too. Hey Winter, once you're done can you log into Edge's computer and kill Nighthound?
  22. Also am I the only one who finds it a bit suspicious that this announcement comes right after all our assasination and will planning?
  23. Not even: WhyAreThereBugsEvereywhereOhGodThey'reAbsolutelyEverywhere? Sorry to hear Winter, I'm happy to take on characters if needed.
  24. So that'd be a no to GiveMeABurgerNow and WhyIsEverythingPurple too?
