I think at one point tin was going to be silver since Brandon prefered the term 'Silvereye' but changed it when he found out pewter doesn't contain silver. So I doubt there's much Allomantically going on with it, other than that I'm not sure what other realmatic interactions it might have although between that and aluminium I think metals are likely to be pretty important across the cosmere.

Depends on the type of force field, for an electrical shield like Sourcefields it would definitely work but if it's more like Profs then I doubt it, there's no energy involved there it's more like a solid object than anything.

That said Dawnslights existence seems to point at some alternative source of Epic-like powers and I've theorized before that David might get his powers from elsewhere.

I think so, particularly in such a crowd you could definitely fry a couple dozen people with that. Heat would be a lot more effective by just creating an explosion but Epics don't always perform relative cost analyses on their abilities I guess

Could be that since enough time had passed since the throat-slitting incident that the hostages bodies had healed themselves so when Koschei's powers were removed it didn't matter anymore.
