  1. Hanitizer- Abilities: The ability to be a no good scruffy looking nerf herder. The ability to know. The ability to shoot first. The ability to be fine thank you. How are you?
  2. Not entirely sure, they probably should have, Scribbler likely would have made her take something before she bolted out.
  3. Oh and also, Congrats Twi! I've recently discovered that unfortunately academic life is just not working for me right now so my degree is likely going to take significantly longer than I had planned until certain medical issues are fixed.
  4. Hmm, well if that's going to be the case I might need to skip MV and Backtrack past it somehow. Maybe Autumn could try to contact them because she heard Impact's voice? Then they could go back to Baxter, meet Arsenal and clear everything up, secure transport back and hopefully not have too much of a time disconnect.
  5. I can retcon my last post to them not entering the fight if needed, but I think the MoNA attack will probably take a while anyway so we're probably good for time.
  6. Also Kobold we'll need to tie up MV and Backtrack before morning starts in Portland or we'll have to write them on two seperate timelines.
  7. As the Reckoners RPs resident creator of far too many Epics I now suffer a compulsion to turn anything with a capital letter into an Epic, so thanks for the idea I guess
  8. Just waiting on Joe to finish up the Dominion fight then if no one else has anything I'll timeskip to the MoNA attack and I think that's it for the night
  9. She did just murder a few Epics and maim a bunch more, admittedly she had some justification but still somewhat of a corrupted nature.
  10. I don't know that I'd call the ability to freeze people harmless even if not used tactically but yeah my personal mission is to exploit that trope as much as possible. Like with Refill, the bartender Epic who ended up being able to blow people up from the inside.
  11. On that subject I don't know if we should write any Epics facing their fears yet, until we get more information on what happens it's pretty likely that we'll have to retcon something.
  12. Even the DA has limits on what we're willing to spike.
  13. Voidus would like to state of his own free will that this is not a nefarious plan set in motion by the pug empire to take over the world through careful manipulation of typos and totes adorbs pictures. He would also like to state that you should all adopt more pugs and share all your secrets with them.
  14. I see that Brandon is adhering to the comic book sequels law that states that the third entry in a trilogy must include a large number of antagonists. I hope he pulls it off better than Marvel has.
  15. If it's the twins that get mentioned it might destroy my headcanon that the momentum twins eventually ended up there.
  16. WHIO: Where even a romance between an awkward Tsundere teenager and a pathetically powerless retrocog is decided through a duel to the death.
  17. Try to restrain her with plants? The Epic who'd just burned through a dozen citizens? Sighing, Cornucopia replied to Rainmaker, there was only one answer that Corvallis' ruler would accept. "Well I can try it at least." She said into her mobile She found an acorn near to the Epic, probably tossed there by Rainmaker's winds, and sending her power rolling into it, guiding it's roots deep into the earth to anchor it Cornucopia then focused on its growth. Even for her powers a full sized oak tree could not be coaxed into existence in a mere moment but she guided its growth into a small sprout, rushing it still further until a small sapling stood by near the Epic. "Standing by, I'll need someone to get the restraints close enough that I can take over" If the Epic burned through the tree she might be able to surprise them by planting the restraints to create another, but there were no living plants close enough to move the dirt. Focusing on the oaks root system again, Cornucopia sped their growth disproportionately to the main trunk, creating thicker roots that spread through the ground underneath the Epic. Hopefully she'd be too distracted by Rainmaker to notice the slight trembling as the roots shoved dirt aside to make room for their growth. "If all else fails I can grow an orchard around her" She suggested to Rainmaker "If she burns them down the smoke will start causing breathing problems, especially if you can keep it there."
  18. That was my thought too, although I was going off of WebMD and Wikipedia rather than a speech pathologist I'm trying to think of where I could introduce him still.
  19. Actually in a militarized city like the Dalles I think having your weaponry and medical areas close is probably a good idea.
  20. Also I think everyone's forgetting something about Funtimes. She gave Lightwards his hat.
  21. Short posts up for Scribbler and MV. Kobold, any ideas when Arsenal will be arriving at the clinic?
  22. "She landed," Backtrack said, a slight smile marking his fortuitous words "She had a rough flight, but she managed to land. She's only a dozen or two blocks away. She's probably looking for you right now!" Gazing in the same direction as Backtrack, MV nodded. She adopted the stoic expression of her sister, keeping her own emotions hidden as best she could. "We'll find out what happened. We will find you Allison." She whispered. Letting Backtrack lead, though not letting go of him, the two made their way towards her. A dull rumbling rose to meet them, seemingly from the exact place they were walking to. Exchanging a worried look, MV hastened her pace. "Whatever happens just keep following her, I'll keep you safe. I promise." She said, voice somehow remaining steady despite that little voice in her head telling her she sounded stupid again. A flash of light lit the buildings as something incredibly bright appeared for an instant nearby. Was that lightning? Hearing Arsenal's message made Lucy stand up straighter. If Arsenal was coming he'd be looking for someone to blame for everything that had happened. Despite her age the surly Epic had never let Lucy off easy, holding her to the same standards he applied to everyone else. Well everyone except Reader I suppose. She mused. How those two are still in the same city is a mystery beyond even Calamity. Watching the bedraggled Reader continue his questioning prompted a smile from Lucy. Well however much trouble I get into, at least he'll have it worse. Losing his guards, getting kidnapped, punched by some unknown new Epic, losing his pants. Oh this is going to be interesting all right. Continuing to distract herself, Lucy began to mentally organize her report. She'd report to Arsenal, then asked to be dismissed to see Autumn. Partially because she was worried about her but mostly because she needed to talk. And the only person she could really talk to was Autumn Glass.
