You should check out our puns thread Varyn, it's around somewhere Anyways, welcome to the 17th Shard, home to ponies, crazy people, theorists and more! Care for a welcome-to-the-forum cookie?
Steelpushing wouldn't accelerate you to FTL speeds no matter how hard you pushed, it's something to do with time bubbles although I suspect Nicrosil or Duralumin will still be involved.
Kal and Hrathen could probably hold off Denth or Eshonai in Plate but probably not both, so Vin would have to kill Denth immediately with a well placed coin then lead Raoden away so she can pepper him with metal while Kal and Hrathen deal with Eshonai.
Yeah, adrenaline can't make you stronger than you are, what it can do is make you not feel the pain of your muscles tearing from over exertion. Which is good for survival because a few torn muscles are better than being dead but deliberately doing it on a regular basis may not be healthy.
Don't be alarmed, that's just healthy healthy iron, good for growing and all sorts of things. And it's spike shaped to uh... get the nutrients to enter better?
The problem with allomantic Electrum is that as far as we know it doesn't enhance your mind to deal with the information like Atium does, you might see yourself getting hurt slightly before it happens but your reaction time will essentially render it pointless.
Welcome to the forums! If you enjoyed the Reckoners series you might be interested in the RP we host in the Roleplay subforum, much insanity is to be had. Can I offer you a welcome cookie?
For no reason other than that Steelheart is expressly one of the most feared Epics ever I'm going to say that he could just power his way out of the mental manipulation but as a rule invincibility isn't a defense against it. The Metal could probably do the same as Steelheart but I don't think there's anyone else in the RP who could, it'd only be the absolute top tier Epics who could escape it.
This definitely needs to happen sometime.
I kind of made Soulcaster to be the antithesis of the Metal.
The Metal can crush anyone within 1km of him so long as they don't have a PI and he could take out an entire army simultaneously.
Soulcaster can take on even High Epics with impunity but he has trouble against enough numbers.
It might happen once or twice if I can think of a way to justify it (Like ridiculing an Epic he hates) but generally speaking I'm gonna go with no. Participants could always request it of course but I don't see it being the usual.
Again the problem with diamonds is they provide almost no cushioning whatsoever, they're harder than the ground is so a diamond pillar would probably just punch a hole through the building. But it's not likely to be an issue since a momentum manipulator will be joining back up with the Empire tomorrow so falling museums are all covered.
