  1. So I may be planning on another WHOOC for the Redeemed ladies of Oregon, anyone have any ideas for their next great adventure?
  2. Just don't annoy her or she might throw her entire mountain at you.
  3. Maybe.
  4. I think she might wait for a bit before going after him
  5. Well there's two cities with already established rulers (Though I think one of them at least could be retconned if we need another city) and I always have plenty of ideas if you're stuck.
  6. How many posts have you written for RPs? And how many of them did anyone say sucked?
  7. Foreshadowing his existence or foreshadowing Arsenals inevitable demise at the hands of his noble tentacles?
  8. Not so smart when she gets the Dalles' entire defense onto her for murdering their medical staff, but at least an alive one.
  9. Give one to someone else first then murder him probably.
  10. Agreed, it's a shame that people of all religions tend to gloss over their equivalents in favor of whatever parts support their own views. It's a principle that's almost universal to various philosophical and religious positions and yet for some reason mankind just can't seem to grasp it.
  11. This is a discussion I have fairly frequently so I'll just add my usual point on objective morality here. The problem with objective morality is that we're subjective beings, even if such a moral code existed it would be subject to our subjective views and emotions. Look at Christianity, one book (Well 66-73 books depending, but one collection of books anyway) that gives objective rules yet there's a thousand different denominations each with their own interpretation.
  12. We do not speak of the emu tribes! Because they had a rich cultural heritage that extended far beyond their mode of transportation, and reducing an entire peoples history to merely a single interesting fact is disrespectful.
  13. Same thing with Australian-Aboriginal culture, there are a lot of shared stories and similarities but there were hundreds of tribes, they were nomads who sparsely interacted with each other. People talk about things like 'the Aboriginal language' but there were dozens if not hundreds of different languages and dialects. Although like all modern day Australians it is true that they all rode around on Kangaroos.
  14. You follow the Oregon RP? Ehem, sorry, business first. Welcome to the Alleys ChickenPlague, I'd tell you where everything is but I don't think anyone really understands the Alleys' filing system. I was the first one here and when I got here it was already like this, complex-numbered dimensions and non-standard spatial arrangements do tend to confuse matters. Let me know if you make any sales and I can update your entry in the denziens list but if you're just planning on researching that's fine too, we have plenty of... salesmen to acquire fresh research materials.
  15. A shadow pools once more upon the ground, a small round shape beginning to appear underneath it. The shadow clears up to reveal a potato with a message carved into the side. 'I'm not exactly sure what a Voidus is.'
  16. Vampires are in Alley 41i I think, next to the hob-goblins. (Did you want to join as an official Dark Alley denzien? or just here to have some fun?)
  17. Also I've had arguments of religion and politics on the Shard before, people here are mature enough to handle delicate topics like that without blowing up at the opposition so if it becomes a bit political I don't think it matters much. Now here's why all democrats are wrong...
  18. You do indeed. 1.618 points to be precise Thanks for pointing that out too, must have accidentally deleted the i at some point when I was changing things.
  19. A flicker of recognition seemed to cross the doctors face when he walked in on her, which meant one of two things. Either he'd gotten her description from Deathwish or else he'd met Megan. "You've probably met my sister Megan." Impact said, trying to draw as much information out of the doctor as she could without giving him any in return. If Megan was still in town that could be dangerous, but she had to take some risks. If she was wrong she'd just have to destroy the building after all, which would bring the city's guards down on her but then she was confident in her ability to outrun them. "Well regardless, I find myself in need of someone with medical knowledge and access to pharmaceuticals. Oh and while we're at it, any information you might have on the Epic called Deathwish." The last part was a longshot, from what she knew of the Dalles it seemed they valued their loyalty pretty highly but someone that abrasive had to have plenty of enemies. And even the tiniest of hints could help her, one wrong attempt on the slontze's life and she could accidentally kill herself. Slowly she reached inside her pocket, pulling out the packet of painkillers she'd received from the other hospital, she threw it to the doctor. "And a refill on this." Scribbler woke up in a cold sweat, shuddering in remembrance of that horrible horrible dream. Why did she have to relive the worst moment of her life over and over again? Every night was the same, the lights, the party, her friends all laughing and getting drawn away one by one, and then he'd arrived. She shut the memories out, bringing her mind back to the here and now. Bad enough she had nightmares she was not going to give them any of her attention while she was awake. The dreams were something she hadn't even shared with Autumn Glass in her sessions. She knew she was broken and she doubted the councilor could fix that aspect. Besides, she didn't want to talk about what had happened that night. Not to Autumn, not to her parents, not to anyone. Swinging her legs over the side of the bed she took out her phone and glanced at the time, groaning as she realized it had barely been two hours since she'd passed out on her bed. She reached for one of her pens, summoning herself a glass of cold water and a cup of chamomile tea. It tasted horrible but it did help her calm down. Her breathing slowly returned to normal, the sweat drying from her skin. She flopped back down onto her bed, staring at the ceiling. "Times like these I wish I had a pet." She said to herself. "Something cute and squishy. And preferably something able to strangle Arsey when he makes me pull all nighters on stockpiling duty." She pulled her pillow closer and closed her eyes once more. Maybe this time she'd be able to get a few solid hours without waking up shaking from those stupid dreams.
  20. I've always loved both parts of yours plus it's simple which is nice. 9.4247779608/10
  21. You yell to the person who is confused at the existence of this totally real world.
  22. To get back on topic, so I got my script filled for the endone I take, my usual doctor didn't have an appointment for ages so I saw someone else at the same clinic and they suggested I try taking it with paracetamol since it can help it be more effective. I had to go out and buy some because I haven't taken over the counter pain meds in years since they do pretty much nothing for me but I thought I'd give it a go. Tried it for the first time tonight and it seems to somehow be even less effective than normal. Not sure how that's possible and maybe I'm just having a really bad night and it is still working, not sure but it's a little disheartening.
  23. You didn't get to finish? That almost sounds like you're having a bad day. (Ask in a PM perhaps?)
