Soulcaster can't read minds in the Dreamstate, pretty much his only limitation there is the minds of the people he brings with him. Their minds are brought to the astral plane but they're not a part of it. So no seeing memories, no seeing the future of people, no mind control. He can manipulate the bodies the minds are attached to there but not the minds themselves. Otherwise he'd have just brainwashed everyone who entered there and he'd be the most powerful Epic in the world As for Meliability vs. Abaddon: that'd probably end in a stalemate, Meliability has pain resistance and extremely high speed movement but an intangible opponent is not going to be able to be beaten by her either. Soulcaster is not likely to match those two against each other though, he rarely makes matches that are impossible to win.

He is compared to a practiced Mistborn in the air. Duralumin + steel or pewter multiple times. And to be honest probably regular pewter once or twice too. Vin was dodging arrows since before Kal was born.

Flight speed is debatable and he has waaaaaaay less experience in controlling it. Reflexes they're even at best Maneuverability again he is seriously lacking vins experience. He has clumsy speed and strength on his side, as i mentioned Vin is more than used to dealing with that kind of opponent.

She's also way too used to fighting bigger, stronger people with longer reach, usually in groups. She typically turns them into shredded fragments pretty quickly. She's also way more used to both general aerial combat and shooting a flying target. In terms of stabbing range, she's pretty used to avoiding getting hit since she wears no armour, a Shardblade is barely any different to any other sword in terms of danger level. Plus of course, Atium means she pretty much instantly wins and Kals head is quickly crushed with a Durala-pewter powered roundhouse to his face.

Mine should have been cached and it was still buggy, though one of my first thoughts was to clear the cache to see if it resolved, which it didn't so can't really check now.

One piece of advice to take from Brandon is to realize the benefits of writing a fantasy in that you can have fantastical solutions to problems, eg. spren that help Roshars greatshells not be crushed under their own weight, magic microbes that eat volcanic soot from the ashmounts on Scadrial, etc.

It would also come with it's own slew of problems, namely that steam heated to that extent would disperse so rapidly it would basically just be an explosion.

Technically possible depending on the network but practically unlikely, hackers typically target either important or populous networks, a hotel wifi is not going to get them a lot. Remotely giving you a virus is borderline impossible if your computer is set up securely, which most are.

He’d debated between whether or not to get a staff as well but for now he’d decided to stick with the bow, the ranged weapon had done well in his short test and it would be better to have it in case he ran out of mana. "Greetings, I am the Dark Sorcerer Xalthus! Would you two happen to be trapped in this game as I am?" Shadow turned towards the voice, spotting another player walking towards them, a human mage if his robes were anything to go by. “Another one? Man, my dreams of being an anime protagonist are vanishing before my eyes. I was really hoping I’d get some kind of cheat ability like dual wielding too, no luck there so far. That was one small mystery down, on to some bigger ones. “ The tower is over there, I don't think anyone has checked it out yet, we could quest in that place.” He looked at the pale, cruel faced man, waiting and watching for his response. Damien nodded, “Yes, that should do nicely! How about you two wait here while I do a bit of shopping, I’ll meet you back here soon and we can go clear out that tower. Might make a good base, too, in fact.” Without another word, Damien walked off, rubbing his hands together in excitement. Storm stared after him blinking at his decisiveness. He certainly understood how to get others to obey him. Storm looked at shadow. “ Is that a normal thing for people to do in a game? Or…”

Healing works by restoring your cognitive image actually, which is why scars, piercings, etc. don't heal. Identity would be a part of that but not all of it, copper would be getting closer.
