    I have the opposite problem when I talk to non-neurologist doctors, I have to explain that when I say I get cluster headaches for a few weeks I mean for a few weeks I get one or two a day, not all the time. Headaches are annoying to explain to people, probably because we still use the single term 'headache' to describe such a huge variety of pains, symptoms and conditions.

    Got lucky on one of the triptans as a preventative and oxygen as an abortive, they're rather specific for cluster headaches though.

    What kind of pain/headaches? I've had botox suggested to me before and I am quite glad I managed to find an alternative.

    I wonder who did that. It's somewhat empty still actually, I was hoping it would be somewhat more comprehensive but the RP has slowed down quite a bit this year.

    As someone from another country my concern is less that Trump is going to nuke mexico and turn all women into sex slaves and more just kind of terror that a majority of the country actually elected him as their representative. Whatever he does or does not do, people from other countries will judge the rest of the us based on him. And while i do believe that most republicans aren't women hating racists there is a certain amount of institutional sexism and racism in the party. (See above comment about the wage gap) Doesn't make the people themselves bad but good people can create bad policy

    Australia re-elected our xenophobic right wing government after Tony Abbott, now the US has elected Trump... I was going to make a joke here but honestly I'm just too depressed. Sorry US Sharders.

    I meant the current trend of intro thread wars but yeah it was ultimately started before my time, I briefly stole it to espouse some theories, to a surprising amount of success and then it was later adopted into the DA, but ultimately cookies may just be an integral part of the Shard and have been here since the beginning. Now I'm not saying that Chaos, FirstRainbowRose and Rubix are all secretly cookies or purveyors of cookies. But I'm also not not saying that.

    It's a joke that's been around for a few years now, we have a local guild called the Dark Alley where our resident hemalurgists gather and soon after it's creation I made the 'come to the dark side, we have cookies' joke, which then turned into 'The Dark Alley bakes hemallurgic spikes into cookies' and then some people decided to warn newcomers against cookies and some members of the Dark Alley fought that and now most introduction threads get hijacked into a debate about whether you should or should not accept a cookie.

    There was a certain pleasure in dealing with matters personally, Neverthere mused as she wandered down the street with Nighthound. After the two had finished in the house, he had mentioned that he needed to go shopping for someone, in a tone that practically made the air quotes around shopping sound audible. Though briefly compelled to stay in the house now that she had another safe place she opted to stick with the High Epic rather than the walls of concrete that would barely be a deterrent to Epics from the MEE, let alone Corpsemaker. A bird flew down from a nearby roof, perching itself on her shoulder awkwardly as she shied away from it, the physical sensation making her uneasy. It cocked its head at her, seeming to wonder what on earth she was doing before flying back off into the sky. "So, anywhere in particular you had in mind?" She asked her companion. "I don't think any of the shopping malls are still open but I'm sure I could find something if I knew what to look for." Her first point of tactic when accompanying a fellow Epic, make yourself immediately and obviously useful. It was practically an automatic response to her at this point. Her second tactic was usually to either discover their weakness and blackmail them or else try and get someone to kill them for her but hopefully that wouldn't be necessary this time.

    Other way around, it used to be a few hundred years before WoK but was changed to be roughly concurrent due to behind-the-scenes stuff.

    Up to you who you want to fight, if it's a player character ask them first obviously, if it's an NPC that you're creating just check with me if it's something particularly weird or strong, or I have a stupendously large file of Epics that I can provide a few of upon request.

    There will be some progress towards Salems destruction starting soon. While Soulcaster may be very, very good at taking out other Epics he's also a bit of a glass cannon. If he were to get assasinated it would have pretty serious and immediate consequences. It's a city filled with squabbling, powerful Epics who are all well practiced at fighting other Epics, when destruction does hit it'd likely blow up faster than any of the other cities.
