  1. Brandon Sanderson just said that he was informed (not his idea) the current expected release date for A Memory of LIght is January 8, 2013. I was a little surprised at another push back and wondered what everyone else thought
  2. On the summaries, should I put a summary like on a book jacket to get people interested, or should I give a summary from beginning to end that would include spoilers?
  3. I guess a better way to rephrase that sarcasm is that he's not that good at writing only one book in a world. If he creates a new world, you're pretty sure he's going to come back to it.

    Mistings

I'd choose tin. Enhanced senses seems like a skill that would fit me.
  5. Thanks. It seems pretty easy. Getting started seems to be the hard part for me. I'll try to edit these pages throughout the week.
  6. Okay. I'm not really good with summaries (I tend to make them extremely lengthy), but I'll try to right a good summary for each book
  7. I want to edit all the novel pages, such as the entire mistborn trilogy and warbreaker for starters. I don't really know what stuff can be added. Does anyone have any ideas. I'd like to get these books of the stubs list.
  8. I like this idea. I don't prefer the e-book version. I bought the hardback version. But it does give people a chance to read his novels and get hooked so they can buy his other novels.
  9. Wow. That is a very detailed description of what you would like the game to be.
  10. I agree. I think everyone complained about the series in the later books because they had to wait so long in between when little happened.
  11. When I first heard about this game, I pictured a first person shooter game Mistborn style
  12. This would make me want to buy it if I hadn't already read Brandon's work
  13. I don't know about books, but the best time-traveling T.V. show is Doctor Who
  14. I'd like to see other shardworlds EDIT: It looks like he's got the next 10 years of his life planned out
  15. Considering Mistborn will have at least 10 books, ( 3 trilogies and AoL), I would consider that long enough for his preferences. Either way, don't judge a series by its length.
  16. I started reading the Wheel of Time books about a year ago. While reading the series, I kept hearing about Brandon Sanderson finishing and how good he is. I decided I would try it after I finish WoT. However, he sounded so good, I HAD to read him NOW. So I stopped the WoT at book 8 (still right there now) and took a break to read one of Sanderson's novels. My break has been extended to read ALL of his novels. I LOVE his writing. Will still read WoT though before AMoL
  17. I hope he finishes a Memory of Light soon. I like the Wheel of Time series, but I prefer Brandon's work better.
  18. Eventually, they'll be published. I can't wait for him to finish a memory of light so he can get back to his own writing. I like the Wheel of Time, but I prefer his works better.
  19. Another person says start at Book 1
  20. The Wheel of Time is a VERY long series with MANY characters in it. It is easy to get lost. If you're dedicated to the series, you can look at wot.wikia.com and look up who the characters are if you forget.
  21. I started reading WOT first, but when I read one of Brandon Sanderson's novels, I fell in love with the books and think he's a better author than Jordan.
  22. There is a format for Book Chapters I've seen on another sight that was pretty neat. They made a page for each chapter for the Stormlight Archive series. This wiki doesn't have to do it, but its something to think about stormlightarchive.wikia.com/wiki/The_Way_of_Kings:_Chapter_1
