Generally I don't ship. I may make an exception for this pair.

Crafty Games at Gen Con 2012: Come Play with Brandon Sanderson
nikomis replied to Crafty Games's topic in Events and Signings
I'm not sure of the name, it was right after the signing started, though, so it was kind of hectic. I was early-ish in the line. (First...25? Maybe?) -
Crafty Games at Gen Con 2012: Come Play with Brandon Sanderson
nikomis replied to Crafty Games's topic in Events and Signings
I was able to get the dice, and a Sanderson-autograph for my wife, but the art book was there and somehow not "available"...it was confusing. -
In the spirit of Shivertongue, happy birthday a day belated to myself.

Theory on why Vin avioded Hoid *Minor spoilers for WoK*
nikomis replied to Nesh's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I wouldn't know what it would be, but I really like this concept. -
The idea of "consensual Hemalurgy" reminds me a lot of the Runelords books...

Hate to make an offtopic but, I remembered this joke and... http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2012/04/feds-shutter-online-narcotics-store-that-used-tor-to-hide-its-tracks.ars Operation Adam Bomb is actually a thing!?

Fair enough. I just always thought the copperminds would be immune due to the reference I used but I guess I was viewing it differently.
-
Yes but modern day spy movies often also have traintop shoot outs.
-
I didn't think Ruin could alter copperminds... information stored in metal should be out of his reach, shouldn't it? (Can't trust anything not written in metal)

I tend to use one week of my two weeks of vacation in the spring, to still feel like a college student. We only ever got one week of spring break at my university.

What if the Stoneward doesn't teleport so much as "fly" through stones. Like burrowing but without making giant mole tracks?
-
Eh, there's a limit to fun three letter combinations. And two letters. I mean, the planet for the Green Lanterns is Oa, and that's already using two of the same three letters.
-
If it's a giant "drainspren" it could explain the tiredness of everyone AND the protection...if it's just draining away the violent destruction of the storms.
-
That's what I was going for with my post above, I think you worded it a little more clearly.

I just know there was a misting hazekiller in one of the short stories that came with the RPG release. I can't remember which metal it was, though I'm pretty sure it was one of the physical ones. Not a coinshot, though. (So, Lurcher, Tineye, Thug?)
-
Actually, yes, they often are mistings. They just don't get a lot of "screen time" in the books, but the RPG goes into greater detail.
-
As mentioned above, SH is one letter, making Shalash and Ishi perfect. I think likewise, Jezerezeh is perfect in sounds but written differently (Maybe it's pronounced Hezerezeh, or maybe Jezerezej was just awkward, or maybe final Js are silent?)

Are we sure?

So....who wants to play some D&D?
nikomis replied to Eerongal's topic in World's 17thShardest Dungeon
I would say you should worry about them. If you named them and they disappeared, anyway. Otherwise, let them die honorable deaths. -
Know from experience?
-
Except, of course, for Rogue Kandra. A fun little option I didn't have any real information on until the RPG came out.
-
I'm gonna go with "Allomantically-neutral Alumninum alloy knives", if only because then I'm classier than the average shooter.
-
I actually just found a place where it is referenced again. The Shadow Rising, Chapter 57, last page. "Rhuidean. Yes. Of course. Rhuidean. How many weeks to the south? Yet he had done something once. If he could remember how..."
