  1. Welcome to the Shard! Mistborn got me into Sanderson, too. Picked up Way of Kings and a whole new universe was opened up! You should look to share some of your work in the Fan Art section, we're all nice people
  2. Welcome to the Shard! Mistborn was what first got me into Sanderson and I'm currently on my full umpteenth re-read and am still picking out the little Cosmere connections!
  3. Well someone wants to get seen on the forums! Welcome!
  4. Well hello Wit! I'm currently re-reading Stormlight Archive! Hope to see you around the forum!
  5. Pretty much what @Weltall said. Pretty awesome, actually. Welcome to the Shard! I've seen you post a few times already, hopefully can stay active
  6. My favourite part is that you know you misspelled it yet didn't change it on the edit
  7. Hey @Mistborn knight, welcome to the Shard! I haven't actually read any Salvatore or Cole but I'm looking forward to reading the Lighbringer series, I've heard good things!
  8. Skyward is such a great book. The sequel, Starlight, is due to be released later this year too!
  9. I mean, it's either I handle my grammar and don't get excited or I get excited and let loose. I can't do both, geez.
  10. hahaha. Blame my excitement for the inconsistencies!
  11. Out of your list, these are the 2 series that I highly recommend. Tad Williams is traditional fantasy, the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series is a classic! Three Body Problem is huge, spanning sci-fi that is actually such an easy, intriguing read! Spider-Man is my favourite, I remember blasting through the full 700 issues before Marvel Now and it was such an emotional rollercoaster.
  12. I'd use a linen with a dye, it's easier to mould into the shape you're looking for and should be easy to do that ripped look
  13. I had no idea that you quoted me, sorry! No idea why it's changed. Seems its e-format: July 3rd and paper format: September 10th. For the UK, at least.
  14. Good ol' Ironeyes pestering those in Andor, too. Must be where he goes when we don't see him
  15. Rosharians are used to swords like blades being these mythical weapons and don't really have any other explanation for what they do. I'm sure they do notice that there is no gem in the hilt and does not disappear or appear like the Shardblades do.
  16. Welcome! It's a great selection of art in the gallery, do you do any yourself? Michael Kramer is the king of these audiobooks!
  17. Welcome to the Shard! Stormlight is such a huge undertaking that I can only imagine the influence it has had. Have you tried Rithmatist, Legion or Snapshot? You mentioned Reckoners but I feel that these 3 short books are such great stories that they cannot be missed!
  18. You know, I completely get that. He's got such conflicting views that I feel perhaps at one point he did think his was honourable yet sought out revenge accepting that this is all he has left to do.
  19. @Karger summed it up, it definitely took some time. The corruption was definitely not an immediate thing. It was a partnership more than a fight at the very start, I'm sure they two had a good rapport before the obvious impasse of slight imprisonment.
  20. I don't think anyone is saying that Dalinar was or wasn't doing the honourable thing. I agree with @Karger that Dalinar, Moash, Kaladin all do what they think is honourable, even though we may perceive a different idea of it.
  21. Theorise, my friend! Get lost in the boards and down the rabbit hole that is the Cosmere!
  22. Kingdom Hearts is one that I really want to get into but I've heard such mixed reviews, especially with continuity. I just really want to play X again now though....
  23. Yeah it's pretty insane!
