I'd been toying with an idea similar to this with a six part story but having Parts 1, 3 and 5 be in book form but Parts 2, 4 and 6 would be movies. I know this would take a lot of cooperation with a studio but it would be so fun to do, and a big troll to fans

Pretty much Cadsuane if she was effective at her job. Cads worked on Rand for quite a few months and got very little done, Tindwyl works with Elend for a few weeks and gets a king out of it! Cads uses harsh words and spankings, Tindwyl uses harsh truths and a raised eyebrow. I like both women, though I like Tindwyl much more, even if we only get one book with her T.T

Finished Well of Ascension. I liked the building up for Feruchemy and the kandra. The inscription from Kwaan was great as well. Allrienne kind of reminded me of Glinda from Wicked so she was a bubbly character I couldn't help loving. Tindwyl reminded me a bit of Cadsuane, except much more loving and understanding, The whole plot with the mist spirit, Kwaan's inscription and the prophecy of the Hero of Ages was worth reading. I felt so bad for Sazed in the end since he is easily my favorite character in this series. Next up in the Sanderson-a-thon: The Hero of Ages

Almost done with WOA, just 8 chapters and the epilogue left. My mom is making me go to this boring edcamp thing tomorrow so if I don't finish tonight I'll definitely finish tomorrow and probably start on HOA.

I haven't watched Roanoke yet since I started watching after that already aired. Just waiting for the DVD to release. I liked the other 5, but I can say Freak Show is the weakest in terms of horror but you do get to feel for the characters and become horrified when they get attacked and murdered.

Currently watching American Horror Story Cult episode 1. So far it's spooky.

One recent one for me is The Beast is an Animal. It really makes you wonder what creature this beast is and it's also pretty simple as well.

I get migraines but caffeine doesn't help me at all. My sister was the one who recommended it to her, I don't know if what she has is a migraine or just a headache, and she tried to make me try it but I hate Coke so it was never going to be pleasant on that part. The only solution I've found that works is getting to sleep since I always feel better in the morning. Rosie is a lovely name, especially if you're a riveter. But I get you on that. My grandpa always called me Charlie Brown when I was little and I hated it so much! My real name is Douglas and I hate when people try calling me Dougie Fresh, after that song and dance that was so popular a few years back. I've got another nickname for you: Mary with the Rose.

Short answer- Yes Long answer- Bloody hell yes!!! Pretty much it's a product of it's time since it was revolutionary for 1990 but pretty standard today. The gender politics can get ridiculous, there were times I either shook my head or laughed at how stupid they were being. The romance can get pretty silly at times. But what makes these books worth reading are the characters. Brandon can make you like a character anywhere from a few pages to the end of the book but Jordan gives you time during the first three just to know the long term players so you feel for them by the time Brandon takes over.

Might be a while. Want to finish catching up on Sanderson first.

That's why Odium is killing the other Shards, they won't share their root beer! Heres one that only happens when eating out. My mom is the pickiest eater out there. There could be one itty, bitty problem with her food and she'll refuse to eat it until the kitchen fixes it. She could ask for no pickles on her burger and she won't eat it if there are pickles on it. Heck she picks out half of all the lettuce in a salad (a salad meal, not those side salads) for absolutely no reason. Also she thinks the rest of the family is just as picky as her. For me, unless the food is completely wrong (ordering a burger but getting a chicken dish) or has something on it I don't like eating, I won't return it just for something that small. My dad and sister are mostly the same as me on that matter.

Sounds like some of my usernames of the past, like on one Pokémon forum they had a birthday Pokémon thing and I based my name there off that. Looked up Garth Nix. I do kind of know him, but only because of The Keys to the Kingdom which I found browsing on Wikipedia a couple years back.
