@OneNastyChull Welcome! I love Brent weeks' books as well. Way of shadows was actually my first adult fantasy I believe. Followed quickly by Elantris and Joe Abercrombie's The Blade itself. Stormlight is my current favourite.

You might not remember but you were one of the first to welcome me to the forums. And therefore I shall forever remember you, even if I forget you...

I do hope that, at the very least, I get a chance to say some final words before I am taken out.

@Metacognition @Amanuensis Hi guys I'm relatively new here and was browsing through the forums and really like the sound of sanderson elimination. And I don't know if this the best place to ask but I've quite been confused. How often is it that a new game starts? Is it as and when someone decides to make a new game? Some of us are at Urithiru at the moment and others on their way. We are, however, keeping our true identities (radiants, worldhappers, elantrians etc) a secret. This is due to an important mission, the details of which @Tesh Kholin is working on right now. For this, we need to be undercover. You are welcome to join us, with the compromise, however, to keep your abilities a secret. This doesn't mean stopping interaction with captain kaladin and the others. I read a few of the Sanderson standalones (Elantris and Warbreaker) a few years ago but did not come here until finishing WoK, WoR and Edgedancer in quick succession. WoR is my favourite all time book so far. Hoping that Oathbringer changes this soon

I just had this thought. Stormfather is reluctant in letting most of the spren go to the humans to bond because of what happened in the past i.e. the recreance, which killed his children. What if, Adolin reviving his blade, is a first step of sorts. Once the first revival happens and they (Dalinar and co.) figure out the proper system of reviving dead spren, we proceed to step 2. A mass revival of all the shardblades currently on Roshar. (Requisite fulfilment of all the conditions/Oaths etc. Whatever the 'key' is) Of course, I wouldn't expect anything like that to happen now but eventually. Maybe in the second half. It would convince the stormfather to agree to letting more spren bond. Now not all spren are from stormfather but we know the honorspren are. There might be a few more types as well. Even if it does not involve Stormfather, it would still be a valuable asset to KR as they will get an increase in number. Which they will most definitely need. I am so looking forward to Lift just tearing people up with her jokes, Radiant and non-radiant alike. On this note, I am also guessing that Azir/Gawx will be one of the first to Ally themselves with Dalinar. And could also be the first to have the Oathgate opened. Karbranth, Jah keved are under Mr.T. Shinovar and Aimia are unlikely to join up yet due to what we know of them so far. Too little info on the rest. This leaves Azir. In edgedancer, they initially doubted Dalinar's warning. Now, however, things will be different as he will be proved correct. I can see Azir/Gawx/Lift soon becoming an ally to Dalinar.

@Shadows4Silence Looks like we can come to an understanding. The world is changing. I may have to leave my mercenary ways behind. I might go back to what I was before I disguised myself as a mercenary soldier in Sebarial's army. I was a friend of Shallans's brother, Helaran. I didn't agree with the group he was following but I had no choice but to support him. He was my best friend. But I failed him. I have tried to protect Shallan from the shadows but she seems more capable of protecting herself now than I ever will be. @Kaladinwillumarryme? Amaram. I know of that traitorous rat. My best frient died because of him. And I, along with many other, witnessed his fall from grace as brightlord Dalinar exposed him, in the presence of Captain Kaladin. I am sorry to hear of what you went through due to him. We will have revenge. You have my services at your disposal. @Tesh Kholin I am ready to come for the meeting. If it is true that I could be a radiant then I will be willing to accept the secret mission if it could mean that we can help save the world, even if it is a small part. Thanks for the hard work everyone. After reading the comments I relaxed knowing I most likely wouldn't be able to handle the beta process so no more being despressed not being part of the beta. Just going to read at my own pace when it comes out. But... This!!! Nooooo. I'm dying.

Ah right. I never knew what order the cobbler was and for the stump I just assumed she was an edgedancer as well because of the healing. And If it's true about the Warbreaker bit, then I'm assuming that going forward we'll be seeing many more characters appear on Roshar from the other cosmere worlds. Personally, I'd like to see Shae make an appearance to some degree.
