  1. LG42 was a weird one, Fifth I assume there will be far more discussion, seeimg as this is a more ordinary faction game. Aiden stood staring outside his study's window, watching the ash fall on Luthadel, the seat of the Lord Ruler, and perhaps more importantly to him, the seat of all High Houses. There had been a House War brewing for years now, dissent and tension building as the Houses competed for contracts and power. Like most things of this nature, the war had begun quietly. The skaa worked as normal. The noblemen and noblewomen with less influence wasted their time at parties and social gatherings, unaware of the danger around them. The truly competent men knew, however, and prepared for the worst. For it was soon to come. The weak would be culled, and order would be restored to the hierarchy once more. This was but a game, except the stakes were as high as they could get. As the ash covered the city's squat skaa tenements and noble keeps and manors, Aiden wondered. How far could men be pushed, when everything was on the line?
  2. Rand, I don't have anything to lend you yet, other than crossed fingers and a "Good luck!", but I'll give you both of those freely Show 'em what SE players are made of!
  3. Oh boy, faction games are my jam Sign me up as Aiden Ostlin.
  4. Sorry about that, @Walin.. I almost forgot to put in an action, and had to pick someone quick This was a fun game! Good game to the village, and props to Len and Devotary-- they both played very well, too. We made mistakes in the last couple of cycles, but I blame that on the panic Elandera in particular deserves congratulations, for playing exceedingly well for a first-timer. Very well in general, actually. I'm looking forward to playing with you -all of you- again. @randuir, I'm not sure if that's a compliment, but I'll take it as one I don't think I said anything particularly noteworthy in the doc, though Anyway, once again, good game, and thanks to Joe for GMing and putting up with my questions
  5. Actually. Drought, in a 1v1 with vote manip, causes a tie. I just realized.
  6. Vote manip changes nothing, as Elandera can't move votes that haven't been placed (I think) and all Bard can do is cancel votes. Also, 1 vote does not cause a lynch. He wins, in a 1v1 situation with anyone other than you.
  7. You're tunneling now, I think. If it was deliberate, then it could definitely have been bussing. And bussing would basically let him lylo for the rest of the game, as he'd be essentially "confirmed" good. I don't understand what you're trying to say, here.
  8. I'd like to point out that 2 votes is the bare minimum needed to lynch, and with this few players it takes the lynch-ee directly into the danger zone. I didn't really see who voted for who, really. I skimmed the thread really quickly, because I thought I had much less time than I really did. I didn't know the vote counts until I took a closer look, after I posted. If I was an elim, don't you think Drought would have told me he's voting for Devotary?
  9. I hadn't noticed Drought's vote. He could be bussing Devotary, as then he would basically be considered village, kill a random role player this cycle, then lynch me/kill another villager next cycle to gain victory. In hindsight, I'll vote on Drought. One elim, even with a role (if they get it instead of me) has very little chance of winning. EDIT: Devotary
  10. Hello, everyone. So I just woke up. As Rand said, depending on the elim kill, this is either LyLo, coinflip or village win. (Depends.) I personally think we need to focus on killing the convert. It's more important to keep the roles to the village, and I think, seeing as he's essentially a confirmed convert, lynching Devotary will basically ensure village victory. Gotta go make breakfast, but I'll be online.
  11. At this point I'm just gonna use PoE. 1. I'd rather not lynch myself. 2. Devotary is universally regarded as not-sophie, possibly a convert however. 3. Lynching Drought right now wouldn't make much sense, because he hasn't said much at all. 4. Crimsn has been more active than Drought, though not by far, and there's more there that implicates her than anyone else at the chopping block. @Elandera, your post showed up while I was typing. If Drought is elim, then Len's vote could have been an attempt at bussing? Though that's strenuous at best.
  12. That I did not expect. More thoughts to come once I get off the bus.
  13. Not really, @randuir. It was/is early morning, and monday is a very busy day for me. I won't be moving my vote either.
  14. Sorry for the double post. Evidently, turnover ain't happening, so discuss your hearts out. As Joe said, it'll probably be extended until tomorrow.
  15. Ah, okay. That makes a certain amount of sense. Now, I suggest we refrain from talking until we know what'll happen with turnover.
  16. Only one of those becomes immune, Devotary. Edit: Evidently, the cycle is over. Let's wait on one of the IMs to see what happens.
  17. I'll place a vote on Elandera. I don't really like the Drought lynch. He hasn't been very active, and lynching him provides very little info. Elandera on the other hand has been discussing, if not really saying anything special. There's more to find out there. If this is left up to the gods of luck and chance, at least the other person gains immunity.
  18. Then I'll vote for Rae instead of Orlok. They were very impressive last AG, as I saw mentioned.
  19. I will retract my vote on Rand then. I won't vote yet. I'll certainly be awake before the end of the cycle though, it's at about 9 AM my time.
  20. I'll vote for Randuir and Orlok. They're both very skilled players from my experience, and playing with them is always fun. I feel like they can represent SE well!
  21. I'll have more time from now on, so... expect more from me. Currently, I'm willing to lynch Rand. My main suspicion of him comes from his part in Bort's lynch last cycle, something I don't think has been mentioned yet. His vote read very off to me. It felt like taking advantage of Drought's tentative vote. It starts an easy lynch, and lets Rand divert the blame to Drought if push comes to shove. He did remove his vote later to put it on Devotary, to widen the conversion protection pool presumably, but it can just as easily be distancing himself from the Bort lynch.
