There's about half an hour left in the cycle, correct? So everyone that wants to vote, speak now or stay silent forever! Or some such dramatic statement.

Here's the thing, Acid can be useful to the village, but it takes too much luck. So Jon defending the Acid bucket was weird tbh. I'll place my vote on Jondesu because I'm growing more and more suspicious of them.

Huh. I just realized. What if Monster pointed out everyone that didn't take an item as a cover for people who actually took suspicious stuff?

This is horrible customer service. Horrible, I say! Loot pizzas may be the new fad, but this is getting ridiculous. You can ask Orlok for confirmation. I PMd him at the begining of Cycle 2, telling him I'd found him Either way, with me and Orlok out of the picture it's like, a 2/4 chance of an Elim. Or a 1/4, I'm not sure. Either way, this game went from 0-100 real fast. I love it.

Well, I didn't expect that. I guess I'll come clean, too. I was Prepared, and started with an item. A Crab. I used it on Orlok, last Cycle, and as such I could see what they did. I saw them use their action to steal. I can confirm that he is, indeed, the Thief. Yeah, I lied. What did you want me to do? I don't think there is a reason to keep it a secret any longer, seeing what he did. Plus, this makes the game much more interesting.

It is vague, yes. But I thought that who I wanted to lynch (or would agree on lynching) was pretty obvious. That's probably a mistake on my part, though. And, now, looking at my post, I realize I didn't mention them straight out. I'm sorry about that. But I'm always somewhat indecisive when it comes to this game.. I'm much more comfortable waiting to see how everything plays out, than making a move early-on. I can understand why you would be suspicious now, though. It's my fault for being obtuse, I guess. Monster. EDIT: Might want to fix the tally again, Len I got the notification for your post just as I pressed "Send" XD

I think you misunderstood me, @MonsterMetroid. I said I'll join a bandwagon I agree with, not any bandwagon. I've put forward who I'd be more willing to lynch (Alv, Budgie or BR) and I will support those lynches if they happen. A lynch on Alv seems to be happening, for one, and I very much doubt a lynch outside this 6-person group will find any success. This seems too much like trying to twist my own words against me, though, so I'll tentatively vote on Monster.

Hope you get well soon, Orlok. Well, I'm sorry for not being active. On second thought, I probably shouldn't have joined a game on this busy a schedule I'll post (and am posting) on my free time, which is admittedly few and spread out far between, but my opinions on the "6 suspects" (I'm aware I'm one of them :P) vary. On Alvron I cannot for the life of me get a good grip. You have too much trust in the Gods of Luck and Chance, my friend. I'm not entirely sure I want to lynch you, but so far that's what seems to be happening. On Orlok I have a pretty solid village read from our PMs together, so I don't want to lynch him. Monster, Budgie and BR I'm not sure of. Monster I'm leaning slightly village on, because they've been pretty active and helpful, but Budgie and BR have had nothing alignment-indicative as far as I can tell. I won't vote for a bit longer, because I want to see how the discussion develops, but these are my opinions. I'm not sure who to vote on, so I'll very likely jump onto a bandwagon that I agree with, if one forms. If not, expect my vote to come soon.

Well, do you deny that we have to think like elims to figure out who they are? In all seriousness, it was a mistake on my part. Though I'd like @Sart to clarify, anyway.

I did not downplay the importance of acid to the village, as you say, @Jondesu. I only mentioned that it seems to be very useful to Elims, and less so to us, but I may have confused the roleblock ability's use. Does it mean that the target can't take an action at all? Because if so, it's a lot more versatile than I thought. I have managed to find some time and I'm currently catching up on the thread, making some notes. I'll post any thoughts I have, and a response to all of your accusations, once I'm on my PC, however.

So, I don't currently have much time, but I'd like to say that I took nothing from the pile because I didn't send an order in. I forgot, and life got the best of me I'll try to be more active and more involved in discussion, but I can't promise anything. I'll check in later with some thoughts, but for now I'll have to bid you all adieu.

Sorry for being inactive! I was slightly busy.. Anyway, something I noticed is that we should be careful of people that take buckets of acid. They seem to have only one real use for villagers, and are very useful to elims. Other than letting everyone see what a Sneaky player is taking from the stock, which is the only thing I can see the village benefitting in any way from (and from which the Elims can also benefit) it nullifies the only form of defence against kills we have, and that second effect can only be really useful if you're conspiring with someone (hint hint, elims). Anyway, regarding the actual game, as far as I've seen there hasn't been anything truly alignment-indicative so far. Just the usual D1 "lynch or no lynch" I'll wait for now. I'd like a lynch, but so far there haven't been any real targets. Everyone going for the gun would be hilarious, and it would make this a game to remember, but it would end a tad too quickly for my tastes

I'd be entirely willing to help! Balancing will be an issue, so I can help with that and/or brainstorming for concepts. GMing also sounds right up my alley, at least when we have everything figured out But count me in!

Mid-Range Game 25: Lowborn Intrigue
Eternum replied to TheMightyLopen's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh, I do suppose it could be that. But what reason would there be to list the roles and then not include them? EDIT: Yeah Straw's post kinda confused me because I figured, from the rules, that everyone can either have an ordinary role or a secret role.- 433 replies

Mid-Range Game 25: Lowborn Intrigue
Eternum replied to TheMightyLopen's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh wow, secret roles. Didn't notice that when reading the rules. Well, this will be interesting at the very least. Anybody have an inkling of what these roles may be? The wording here also seems to imply that the villagers as well as the elims can have these. Also, @Straw: The spies can have roles we know of. They don't necessarily have a secret role.- 433 replies

Quick Fix Game 26: Stop the Madness
Eternum replied to firstRainbowRose's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This game is bound to be fun. I mean, playing detective in the Forests of Hell, surrounded by shades and murderers? What more would you want? This could be a great Storium RP too -
How did you figure out they were PK anyway? Because PK told us you'd guessed their identity.

I genuinely don't know how the entire Cabal got killed one by one. Pissed me off, that's for sure. How did that even happen? But still, good game. I find it funny that neither "major" faction got their wincon... Alv, were you our informant? Or was it you, Len? EDIT: Also, I'm kind of surprised. Why did Rebecca not revive anyone? Had plenty o' chances. As a sidenote, when Seonid told me "If you don't get revived I'll give you a spec doc link" I was genuinely stunned. A game with revival could be a GMs nightmare
