  1. *Time travel into the past. And/or the creation of a tachyonic antitelephone, which allows sending messages into the past, theoretically. But yeah. You got it.
  2. Sol smirked, looking up at Falchion. "This isn't exactly chess, my friend. For starters," he said, then appeared on a rooftop next to Balelight and Falchion, followed by the loud crack of an object breaking the sound barrier, "It's not limited to black and white." Sol put his hands in his pockets, shrugging. "There's more than one faction in this fight. And... I'd like to point out that in chess, the white pieces move first. So watch your back." (Does nobody get why his Epic name is Tachyon yet?)
  3. Well, first off, an Epic killed Roadwalker in the 2nd cycle. Now, another Epic killed Crimsn. There's also a hint in the writeup, I think. "If you don't bring me a suspect or kill them yourselves, someone in this city will die." (Emphasis mine) This definitely doesn't talk about any other faction kills, or any kill roles. Balelight was talking to Stormwarden here, and nobody else, and since Lemon was Cabal, I suspect they do have a kill.
  4. Well, there's no point in discussing it, Winter. As Alvron said, it's probably a Janitor-type role. I would have liked to know her target, though, if she was telling the truth.
  5. Lmao true Robin knows his priorities. NPCs are harmless until you attack them
  6. xD same well.. Ok not same But still I don't have much interesting info. Mint, do you have 1 PM per turn?
  7. Yeah, I figured. It's kind of funny how Doc turned out to be Renard xD But yeah, again, great game, lots of fun. GG to the winners, we losers are having a party and you're not invited
  8. Alright. First off, this was an amazingly fun game. Great job, GMs. It was pretty darn complicated, but all things considered, you guys did great. Second, Joe, the writeup for my death was hilarious. I was in stitches. Well worth the wait. Third, seriously GMs, what was the reasoning behind me being such an important Forest role? This was literally my second game xD Also, sorry Jon. And Straw. I'm kinda annoyed, cuz N1 I was gonna kill HH, and then Doc suggested I kill Straw, so then I was like "Uh.. ok.. Sure." That could have possibly changed the game. And then I became Medium and life got so much harder. So hard, in fact, that I died the next cycle. Oh well. At the beginning of the game I was really split. Do I roleclaim or not? I eventually did. My reasoning behind this was: The elims will either want to manipulate me or kill me, and I saw leaving me alone as a bad idea. They didn't do either. Leaving me alone did actually help them because I'm bad at this game I figured, if they try to kill me I could just protect myself for a turn and give the village some breathing room. If they tried to manipulate me I could either outright kill them or make them take the test, which had a 60% chance of adding another elim to the court thread (Sorry Court peeps ) Needless to say, my plan failed. See: I'm bad at this game xD
  9. (I'm sad that nobody gets why Sol's Epic name is Tachyon ) Sol looked up at Balelight as she arrived, sighing. "Yeah, as expected.. Did you come here to join the party too? From the looks of it, it's gonna become one heckuva free-for-all." He said, addressing Balelight. He was surprised, though, when a portal opened and another Epic, Falchion, walked out, Didn't he get struck by lightning like... Minutes ago? Sparking determined, that guy.
  10. Sol's still there, guys. Hasn't left yet. And he doesn't exactly intend to get into a fight with Balelight because it would just result in a stalemate (If I have this right and Balelight's powers are airbending and shooting lasers out of her eyes) OK, now for some actual analysis. We know of 3 separate factions: Epic Cabal, Malcontents and Reckoners. (4 if we include Neutrals.) Malcontents and Reckoners both sound like they want to kill Epics. Since they usually killed low-end Epics in the books, I'd take a gamble and say they're after the Neutrals. Now, the Malcontents. Just from the name, I'd say they're not happy with how the city is ruled n stuff. They probably want to kill the Epic Cabal, because I suspect the Cabal is sided with Balelight, not against her. See: Stormwarden was a Cabalist, and was under Balelight's command. (In the writeup) Now, I think that at least the Reckoners and Cabal have a faction kill. Crimsn was killed by an epic (Cabal obv(Also I'd like to mention that the GMs seem to be using jokes from the beginning of the game, because it seemed like Crimsn was killed by Lavalake )) and the previous attempt to kill them was a sniper attack, which screams Reckoner to me. There is probably a vanilla village faction too, judging from Len saying they have no role and action. I can't offer any analysis on the players because I have no idea who's who at this point.
  11. We're getting waaay too into this family thing. Guys, it's the moment of the freaking creation of the universe. I think getting married and adopting kids can wait until you have at least an universe to live in.
  12. Well, Winter, I'd vote and offer analysis and stuff... But we literally have nothing to go on. We don't even know which faction the elims are, for Pete's sake. (By that, I mean I'm not sure yet.)
  13. As Aaliyah's knife spun through the air, Sol stepped forward into the fighters' lines of sight, seemingly uncaring of the danger, his black hair plastered to his head by the rain. Then, as the knife flew past him, time stopped. Raindrops froze in mid-air, Aaliyah's knife stopped tumbling end over end, and Sol was the only person still moving, turning his head to look at both sides of the fight. Except everyone saw time stopping, knew it was happening. Their brains still worked. Time was a strange beast, wasn't it? "I think this has gone on long enough. Don't you? I don't like pointless fights, and the direction this is going, it'll also be a waste of life and potential. I would rather not waste either of those. Can't you all just... I'unno, talk about your problems like normal people?" He sighed. "Powers are at play in this city, and you all wanna be really far away from ground zero when the conflict is resolved, if you catch my drift.." Sol shrugged. "I'd suggest making better decisions this time around." He took a deep breath, and as he exhaled, time lurched backwards, like putting a tape on rewind, back to the point when Aaliyah drew her arm back to throw the knife. Amidst the chaos and disorientation, Sol's voice rang hollowly. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. The name's Sol, but for all intents and purposes... Call me Tachyon."
  14. Thing is, we're not neccesarily near Outblack. Sure, he does stretch for a mile in every direction starting from the city centre, but we might not even be near the city centre Unless something happened that I don't know of and stuff
  15. Uh, Sheep, Elith changed their rule. The child does have to agree to the adoption, meaning they can stop it from happening if they want to.
  16. RIP Cole -------------- Sol raised an eyebrow as he noticed someone running in his direction. One of the two fleeing had turned back, presumably to hold the attackers off. He had no qualms with either side of this conflict. He was just curious of the outcome. Whoever attacked him would just hurt themselves for no reason. The two behind him were now closing in, sprinting through the rain. Everyone's in such a hurry. Why not stop and enjoy the weather? He looked up at the dark clouds, lightning flashes and rain. Yeah, ok. Nevermind.
  17. Well, Elith, it's really unlikely his eyeball would burst. His limbs might get shaky n stuff, his sense of touch might be slightly dampened, and he won't be able to walk properly for at least a couple of days, but an eyeball bursting? That's really unlikely, as I said before.
  18. tags y u no work Sol sighed as he walked down one of Mirialis's streets, having decided to check out what all the commotion in the hospital was all about. The sudden rain was more than a bit unpleasant, but he couldn't exactly do anything about it. Well, I could, but doing so would be stupid and counterproductive, as the rain would just start falling again later. Hm.. Technically it would fall at the same time as before, right? Bah. Makes no difference. These thoughts were interrupted when he noticed two figures running through the rain in a hurry. Rain could make anyone hurry, but this seemed different. They were running from something. Someone? Then, quite a distance ahead, he glimpsed two more people running, presumably after the two he'd just seen. Well, if nothing else, at least I know something happened at the hospital, Sol thought, turning on his heels and walking after the two that had just passed. He was in no hurry. (Sami, Drake, anyone else involved that I forgot about/didn't notice, care to RP?)
