  1. By book 2, I loved how important the Survivor had become, however I was a little disappointed by how Vin and the others didn't seem to think too highly of him(very understandable), Docks and and Spook were the only faithful(lol, I'm pathetic) which made me like them. Stupid reason, but its that simple lol
  2. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed Spook's character, though that was probably because I was a huge Kelsier fan. As for Syl, I enjoyed her moments due to her childlike innocence and openness, which makes her 'darker' actions more understandable. To a child, the whole world revolves around her, which is similar to Syl's case. As for her possessiveness, I feel that is necessary when you're dealing with someone who fears about losing everything all the time. Her claiming Kal would have been the biggest comfort to him.
  3. This rapper NF is amazing, this is the debut single for his third album, I really enjoy listening to him -
  4. I just realized, now that Hobber is a squire, he'll be able to grow his legs back, He doesn't have to be a cook anymore! Cross your fingers for Hobber povs, I enjoyed his character.
  5. Most probably that statement is very altered and not true, however I've realized that many things the people on Roshar have as common knowledge turn out to be true, so who knows?
  6. I would like a new order called Death Healers, with the surges of Division and Progression, imagine how strong that would be! The ability to destroy and to heal and grow First ideal - I will destroy everything Second ideal - I will heal everything I have destroyed lol
  7. @Calderis That is an excellent theory. Plot twist, Navani killed her
  8. This is an outlandish theory, but could the shattering have been caused due to the emergence of something from the earth of the plains? Something so powerful it caused ripples of magic shattering it at such a huge scale. This would be so cool! I guess it would be something like the emergence of the creature in Dalinar's vision on a much larger scale,
  9. Very interesting, another possibility(other than Shallan Kaladin and Adolin,i assume you were referring to them) is The Dalinar, shhhhhh story, with the oathbringer new chapters these 4 readings could be very possible.
  10. Tbh Shallan didn't seem very honest before she spoke her oaths(she's improving) and Szeth definitely doesn't strike a confident figure. So, I don't feel it's necessarily to outwardly show the traits necessary for the various orders, you need to have the potential in you, just a few thoughts
  11. We haven't seen the full potential of a live shardblade yet, and 'bind' might be allegorical and not necessarily literal. However based on what we know so far, I don't believe it confirms anything.
  12. Bits I enjoyed and stood out for me these chapters- Chapter4 - I'm beginning to like the Stormfather, Dalinar seems to be able to see things going on without having to be there(like scrying) It'd be cool if he learned to be able to do this voluntarily, I enjoyed the wedding scene, I reaaly want to know what the boon was(Nightwatcher), The Kadesh memory looks cool, cant wait to see that in one of the prologues Chapter 5- Honestly, I skipped it, I'd read it before Chapter 6- Beautiful, His parents are good people, Lirin's reception was better than what I expected, Kal's glare at the guard was priceless and his punch made my day, I cant wait for everyone to find out he's a superhero lol
  13. I cant wait for Kal to show his parents what he is(KR) That would be so cool!
  14. I agree that she's overhyped, and I did dislike her overbearing, irritating behavior. However Edgedancer really changed my views on her, keep in mind, she is broken and just a child.
  15. Fair point, however I find the likelihood of this occurring to be very low, I'm pretty sure the Stormfather would have known by now otherwise.
  16. Syl seems much smarter than Wyndle, afterall he was just a gardner in the cognitive realm while Syl was an Honorspren so she was a very important spren. She did see Pattern and identified him as a cryptic, she also told Kaladin that she saw some dangerous 'red spren', I believe this indicates the voidspren, so if she saw Renarin bonded to one of these, she would be very suspicious, lol
  17. I don't believe any of the unmade are bonded yet because of As for Renarin being bonded to a voidspren, I'm pretty sure Syl and Pattern would have noticed. That sounds very interesting, I think we need some wobs on that.
  18. Best scene- 4 person duel Best fight scene - Kaladin vs Szeth(because I had looked forward to it for so long) Best funny scene- all The Lopen povs and The Wit povs. best tragic scene- Tien's death and Kal's slavery Worst scene- Kaladin and Shallan chasm scene(I hated it)
  19. @Starla I agree, Kaladin's extraordinary abilities with the spear are equally good as Szeth is with his blade. It's natural to him, so I wouldn't say Szeth is a better fighter in general.
  20. Kaladin's advantages: Szeth was having a mental breakdown(but tbh when did he not?), Syl's ability to shape shift into any weapon, efficient use of stormlight(not of much use in the conditions where they fought), his battlefield experiences, his abnormally good spear skills, and imo the most important of all - he had a purpose. Szeth's advantages: Kaladin was new to his surges(big advantage), Szeths's experience with the surges, climate with lots of stormlight, However, Szeth had a disadvantage as everything he had been punished for turned out to be true, which was a shocker. Under normal conditions, I believe Kaladin would have still won, in the highstorm conditions it could have gone either way(they both have amazing skill)
  21. The ardent Ishar is also ardent Zahel in disguise, he uses the surge of teleportation to appear in two places at regular intervals. This explains the presence of the hospital Mr T runs, It's for Zahel's breaths!
  22. @Calderis Lol plot twist Ishar wrote the diagram and convinced super stupid Mr T that he had written it.
  23. @Flash Interesting, its totally possible. If so, I'd like to know why he's hanging around Taravangian.....
  24. Lol it would be cool if he became the Assassin in Pink, that would make my day.
  25. Wor part 5 chapter 85 Dalinar to Adolin Just read this bit again, it shows that Dalinar knows how evil he used to be, and He's already changed.
