  1. That's what my kindle does...
  2. When this is your 500th post! Woooohoooo! I was not expecting this so soon. My guess is that about 100 of those 500 are on this thread...
  3. Me too. This is really interesting. Thanks for sharing!
  4. I thought it was 1,340. I was really happy. Them I was sad when I figured out the truth. And now I'm happy again.
  5. Well, this is just for quick reference. Just to see how many days until Oathbringer's release. And this random tidbit of information. Oathbringer is 1,240 pages long. Now, countdown! This is a timer that I found somewhere, I think @Ammanas posted it somewhere. (If you didn't, please tell me so I can edit this. ) Oathbringer Countdown And I also did this to my calendar, so... September So, I'm not sure all of the little handwritten numbers next to the date are legible, but those are the amount of days until the release. So, if you can see them, yay! If not, sorry.
  6. ALL OF THE TIME! (And that series is really good, just not his best). When you get a sliver/splinter at school. Enough said.
  7. I posted it a while back in the 'You Know You Are a Sanderfan When... Part 2' a while back.
  8. Oathbringer's release is in 49 days!!!

Oh, wow. I might be able to do that over the summer... But I don't want to try.

  9. Okay, that's a scary thought.
  10. @Captains Domon Yes!!! This is amazing! I made a SA version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.
  11. When your family is considering moving across the ocean (again. But I'm not going to specify where. If it will happen, it won't be for another year at least). and your first thought is, after being told you'd only be able to bring two or three boxes of personal belongs, "Sanderson books. And others, if they'll fit. But Sanderson books are first priority."
  12. Is he a Sanderfan as well?
  13. Quick question. What did you bribe him with?
  14. When in band, your instructor is making everyone work on marching, and she tels you, that when you turn, pretend you have a metal spike in your foot, keeping it in place, and you and @Cel (who was on the other side of the room) turn and give each other a look. Then we started cracking up. In the middle of band. And earlier today, I was wearing dark jeans and a dark sweatshirt, with the hood up, and she told me to take the hood of, because I looked shadey. Then we had a nice long conversation about shades and their link to the physical and cognitive realms.
  15. I'm waiting until the 1st to start my SA reread, so then I can go through all four without anything in between. (The longest I've ever gone without having a book to work on reading was about 12 hours).
  16. @Elsecaller3414 Where'd you go?
  17. There's a Hoid street around here. I was going crazy. Me: Ahhhh! Hoid has finally taken over the Cosmere!!! Mom: *gives me weird look* Wha...? (Back then, (6 months ago) she wasn't used to my random Cosmere references. I had only read the SA and Elantris. I may have been working on Mistborn)... Me: Wait, Earth isn't in the Cosmere... Mom: What are you talk I about. Me: [Explanation of Hoid] Mom: Okay... Me: Never mind. Earth definitely is not part of the Cosmere. I was just... I HAVE BEEN TAKEN OVER BY A SPLINTER!!!! That's sort of what happened. And I discovered the Coppermind a little while before, so I knew about splinters, and worldhoppers, and Hood's strange Lightweaving abilities.
  18. Congratulations! Have some pie: I'm nearly there. Maybe in a couple of days.
  19. When you are one of the most frequent posters on this topic.
  20. @Brightness Enna That's great. Absolutely 100℅ amazing.
  21. @thegatorgirl00 You are not alone. I read the prologue, nearly fainted from excitement, preorered it, then swore not to read it until Nov. 14th. (Amazon's amazing. They're shipping it on the 10th so I'll be able to start reading the day it's released)! But I don't know if I should wait to read it until my Thanksgiving break, or start the day I get it. I'll have tons of family over, so it'll be crazy. I dunno. I'm planning on starting my SA reread on the 1st so I can just go through all 4 books in a row. I guess I'll see what happens. "What comes, will come. And I'll meet it when it does."
  22. Well, I rather enjoyed Shaman and Stick's interaction. (I know Stick is quite overrated, but it's really funny, to a certain extent).
