  1. Yah, that makes sense. And it fits with my theory, too. I really feel like I've found something...
  2. Sarcasm. The most amazing form of speech in existence.
  3. Or: When you count those threads, and look around enough to see the picture on multiple different threads. I tried converting a friend of mine to the Sanderfandom. It didn't work. I showed her the SA. She said they looked too complex. I started laughing my head off.
  4. Wait wait wait wait. Did you really?!
  5. Exactly. They changed the storyline like crazy. And the history, and what was the point of putting Radagast in the movie?! *sigh* They just added a lot of stuff so they could get more money out of it.
  6. @Djarskublar I found it, but my kindle is giving me trouble, so here's the link.
  7. @Cel. It was an accident, but I'll never let her live it down.
  8. This has nothing to do with Sanderson, but I just wanted to post this:
  9. (Imaginary upvote) I'm out. Again. I need to stay off of the Sanderson Meme thread.
  10. @Kered Hehe... Yah, some of them don't support my theory, but I feel like I have just scratched the surface of something fairly important...
  11. When you see this quote and imminently think, 'That seems like something Lift would say...'
  12. So, I, for one, have always been very interested in the prelude to tWoK. I think I know why now. Recently, I have been copying down all of the death-rattles out of tWoK. (I know there is a list on the Coppermind, but I am still doing this). The first one I read that made me curious, was this one: "Victory! We stand atop the mount! We scatter them before us! Their homes become our dens, their lands are now our farms! And they shall burn, as we once did, in a place that is hollow and forlorn." -The Way of Kings, chapter 8 "And they shall burn, as we once did..." When I first read that, I immediately came up with a theory. The heralds talk through death-rattles. Then I read this one: "The burdens of nine become mine. Why must I carry the madness of them all? Oh, Almighty, release me!" -The Way of Kings, chapter 54 And I thought, well, this is obviously Talenel. So at lest one herald talks through death-rattles. Most of them are rather depressing, so it makes sense, considering their life-styles. Well, 3,000 years before. (This is a theory with very little information behind it, so I'm working with what I've got). Slightly off-topic, here are some other death-rattles that I have thought were very interesting. And my thoughts on some of them. "Ten orders. We were loved, once. Why have you forsaken us, Almighty! Shard of my soul, where have you gone?" -The Way of Kings, chapter 2 "I'm dying, aren't I? Healer, why do you take my blood? Who is that beside you, with his head of lines? I can see a distant sun, dark and cold, shinning in a black sky." -The Way of Kings, chapter 4 "Three of sixteen ruled, but now the broken one reigns." -The Way of Kings, chapter 11 So, the shards of Adonalsium. I'm guessing 'the broken one' is referring to Odium. (Ohhh, I like this one). "He must pick it up, the fallen title!" The Tower, the crown, the spear!" -The Way of Kings, chapter 53 So, this is before the chapter when Bridge Four goes back to save Dalinar and his army. The Tower, is obviously referring to The Tower, the crown, Dalinar, (or possibly Elokar, but more likely Dalinar) and the spear, Kaladin. I think the 'He must pick it up, the fallen title!' is referring to Kaladin and the Knights Radiant, as that is the chapter when he says the second ideal of the Windrunners. So, that's all I really have on the subject right now, but if I get any more information, I'll definitely post it.
  13. I love sleep. But only because I've been sleep deprived for about 3 years straight. And if I don't sleep, I honestly get really ornery. So I hole up in my room on the shard. Like I always do. You know you are a Sanderfan when you are going on a field trip (most likely the last one of my life) for leadership, and you are bringing 4 books. Prinsses Academy (I'm doing a book club thing with some of my old 3rd grade teacher's really high readers, and they are all girls, so we are reading it). The Fellowship of the Ring (Is awesome. But the movies for the Hobbit are bad. Why put [insert name of an elf who is a part of the fellowship here] in the movie? He isn't in the book!) The SA (Don't need to say anything about those here!)
  14. ... Whoa. You read really fast. That's almost beyond reason. Ooooooooh... Now that makes sense.
  15. Oooooookay... That wasn't strange at all... Am I missing a reference to something? ... But then again, this is the 17th Shard, so...
  16. Wait wait wait, how many nights?
  17. I spend social studies reading under the desk because my teacher is teaching us stuff I knew in 3rd grade. (Seriously). Then I read at every other possible moment, then get home, do homework, then watch a lecture, then spend the rest of my day doing a mix of reading and writing. And that's not including the 17th Shard...
  18. Now that's commitment to the Sanderfandom. Or he just really enjoys opening tabs...
  19. So, you said this earlier, and I made this this morning:
  20. Let the my bad memes begin! I just made about 20 more. But I'm not going to post all of them.
  21. When you know how many days until the Oathbringer release off the top of your head. 44 days. I am so excited...
  22. Ahhh, those books are beautiful... Can't wait for the 14th! Only 45 more days... But I have no idea how any of you made out anything on those. *shrug*
  23. When you spend the majority of your day reading, theorizing, about death-rattles, writing, listening to Writing Excuses, and some college lectures. Well right now I'm listening to music from The Hobbit. My dad asked me the other day, "So, you listen to college lectures for fun?" "Yep!" So, a middle schooler who reads thousand page adult fiction, and listens to college lectures for fun. Summary of my life.
  24. Oathbringer's release is in 47 days!!!
