So I asked her what Adolin's horse's was. She did she didn't know. Then guessed. Shadowfax? And she's one of those people who have seen tLotR movies many many times. Luckily for her, it was via text.

In English, we're reading Tangerine by Edward Bloor. While reading part two, we had to fill out a reaction log. I was fine with that. But right before we started part two, my teacher said, "So, a lot of new characters and places are introduced in this part, and a lot oif important things happen. Instead of a reaction log, you are going to fill out a study guide to help you keep everything straight." Look at this! I need to rant. This is a good place to rant about being sick of not being in an advanced English class. I won't get the chance to be in one until next year. I should have seen if it would have been possible to skip my grade English, and just go up the the advanced English class. I should've. But that thought didn't even cross my mind. Also, same English class, we got this huge packet, and one of the questions was this: Read the poem. Some say the world will end in fire,Some say in ice.From what I've tasted of desireI hold with those who favor fire.But if it had to perish twice,I think I know enough of hateTo say that for destruction iceIs also greatAnd would suffice. [A nice poem. But this question ruined it.] This poem could have been written as a persuasive essay. Why was it not? I was very tempted to write, "Because that would be stupid." Thanks for bearing my ranting. I am so excited to go to collage. (Please don't tell me to enjoy this stuff while I can. I want to look forward to it instead of dreading it).

My parents lecture me about reading a wider variety of books. AKA take a break from the author who we drove twelve hours for you to meet! (Best day ever. Can't wait to go to another signing. I mean, I still need to get Warbreaker, and White Sand, and all the other books! Not to mention the four I didn't get signed)! (I... Uh... May or may not have grabbed a tiny hardcover Edgedancer at B&N the day after I went to the signing... It was so beautiful! But my mom didn't see me grab it and buy it. If she had, I wouldn't have been able to. So shhhhh!!! ) When you read Keeper of the Lost Cities, (word of advice, do not read them. I swear, so cliché and predictable.) and main character develops a new ability every book, when she was already super powerful in the first book, and you can't help but think, "why am I even friends with [insert friend's name here who suggested these books]. I mean, she's waisting her time on this, while I gave her Mistborn for Christmas!" I found out today that she didn't read past the first page.

Was the plant's name Counk Duku? When you watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them during Leadership because we were in there for three hours (this was my second time watching it, though), and you keep wanting to call Queenie a Oculator.

That would be a terrible conversation. "Hey, most of your friends, including some of your best friends, are bad people. They are turning you into a terrible person. Leave them and come hang out with me, instead!" Yeah, I've had a bad day. Sorry for the sarcasm. I asked the same friend if she was going to ride the bus home today, she said yes, then five minutes later, she went home with her friend who had taken the pictures from her mom's Instagram. I do need to talk to her, though.

I got a C on my math test yesterday, and I've gotten As on all the other ones I've taken this year. I can retake it on Tuesday, though, so I hope that goes well. And my best friend since second grade is slowly drifting away towards a not nice group of people. I'm really concerned. She's just trying to fit in, and be popular. One of the kids will even go onto my friend's mom's Instagram account, screenshot pictures of my friend, then edit them to make her look like an idiot! She's even just ignoring me completely when that friend of hers is around. She's a completely different person at school and with those friends. The type of person I usually try to avoid. Middle school is the worst thing ever.

You are perfectly alright. We all are. When April 19, 2017 was the day you first started reading a Sanderson book. I still have the receipt.

Well put. I have a knack for writing terrible poetry. So good poetry impresses me all the more. @ElephantEarwax is usually pretty reliable, especially just on the normal threads. But on the intro threads, best to stay away. Unless there are cookies being offered.
